Just love, ordinary people, against the backdrop of beautiful Moldovan nature. A week of watching Mihai Volunteer films. Movie 3rd.
Wonderful, old black and white film, co-produced by the USSR and Moldova, with most of the Moldovan actors in roles, perfectly duplicated. Mild Volunteer has a secondary role again, but it is remembered much more than even some of the main characters. His character Obade, a neighbor Radu, and a wise man, supported him very much and helped him in every way he could. A very good, sincere, honest, kind and decent character turned out. Involuntarily recalls his image with the same qualities from the film "Gypsy", although this film was shot 10 years earlier.
The heroes of the film are village teachers Viorica and Radu, people of high moral duty. The rural school where they work is far from exemplary. They, by virtue of their profession, who have no right to error, are under the views of students and fellow villagers, have a hard time. , a person of inquiring mind, but who has already lost faith in a big goal, he no longer has the strength to feel - both for love for his work and for personal love. In these circumstances, an invitation to work in one of the institutes of the Academy of Sciences gives Rada a chance to escape from routine and philistinism.
The film is based on the novel "Alone in the face of love" Moldovan writer Aureliu Busuyoka, he himself acted as a screenwriter of the film.
I think that this film is generally little known to the Russian audience, if only fans and true connoisseurs of Moldovan writers and directors. The novel was published in 1966, in 1968 it was translated into Russian and published in the publishing house "Soviet Writer", received positive reviews of criticism as attracting by overcoming skepticism and indifference, subjecting the lyrical hero to demanding moral analysis, and the image Viorica was called the indisputable luck of the author.
The problem of the film is not moral, but social. In the film "Alone Before Love" among the many frames, amazing in the mood of the characters' feelings, there is one that I remember very much now for a long time (despite the fact that I watched this film for the first time today, I have never even heard of it before). On the dark gray background of the evening twilight goes (no, no, steps!) on the transparent surface of the lake slim, spiritually happy girl in white and white dress.
I really liked the actress Maria Sagaidak, who played the role of Viorica, teacher and main love Radu. Yes, and the actor himself, who played Radue, Victor Voicinescu-Socky, is very bright, and unforgettable.
With the help of this film you can convey the feelings of two people who love each other very much. The film shows a world in which a person is more subject to instincts than spirit. We must not forget this, but we must not forget the spirit. Our spirit has a mission.
The atmosphere of that time is very well represented. The film, of course, is very romantic, with very beautiful shots, with beautiful nature, albeit in black and white. It’s nice to see a woman in the lead role, not a man. And this woman has everything - beauty, intelligence, charm, beauty of movements, beauty of gestures. She's losing something, she's doing something better than the other women in this movie, but overall she's very good and interesting. I never understood why he left. If it weren’t for him, the movie would be different. A love story.
I liked the movie. It clearly shows life and life, work and relationships within labor collectives. There is a love story and a lot of social themes. The movie is good. It teaches respect for elders, love for neighbors, the desire to be useful to society, to be honest and decent. The film is a comedy of characters.
I was so fascinated by the movie. I felt like I was living that life, feeling what I felt, all in one hour and four minutes. It was an incredible look at the relationship between people.
It’s a film about how hard it is to grow up and how we all make the mistakes we learn from. And amazing, as always, the music of Eugene Doga falls deep into the heart, and makes this film even more unforgettable. I also thought that this movie might be instructive for someone. There is something to take note of in some respects.
