How do you know she chose you? She'll try to kill you.
The beginning of any work is the most important part. In the serial format, in the first 10 minutes, you decide whether you will start to follow the next few hours for what is happening or drop the work as a pass and decide to bet on something else. The story can be really potentially interesting for you, but it is not always possible to break through a negative first impression because you never know how much more you will have to fight before you finally get carried away.
Torador is very quickly accelerated and correctly places accents. The main characters of Ryuji and Taiga cause sympathy, their brightest sides are shown and each subsequent series you can expect their unusual friendship to develop further. I initially did not like how the main character reacts to the attacks of Taiga, or rather does not react. But in the first half of the series, it didn’t matter to me, I was just entertained by a series built on the relationships of such different, but somewhat similar people.
But the protractedness made itself felt, the plot began to lead aside secondary characters who, with only a couple of exceptions, demonstrate themselves as people capable of feeling something other than constant joy, even when the situation does not dispose at all. I was most disappointed in Ami Kawashima. A girl with blue hair who supposedly lives in the adult world. Before reaching the age of majority he works as a model. They want to convince us that she looks at all conflicts as a mature and rational person, adapting to the situation and putting on the right mask at the right time, getting what she wants. Only I saw a narcissistic egotist who did not change until the very end. It could have been a very interesting character who could have really interesting thoughts, but all I wanted to see was the slap on her head. Ami humiliates and insults everyone around her, and her development manifested in the fact that towards the end she began to do it openly, and not behind the back of others.
And once again about the core of the whole series - the relationship between the extremely aggressive Taiga and the incredible lover of cooking to wash and clean Ryuji. At first it is really fun to watch what is happening, but the creators more and more present the protagonist with a rag, obediently listening for the twentieth time that he is a bald dog and he must do what the girl wants. This moment can deter many from watching. The fact that Ryuji enters into battle with uneven socks and knows how to sew and cook first-class fits well into his character and is shown in places amusingly. He is clearly happy in doing such things, and this fact prevented me from putting him in the rank of an empty log. Because the ability to find the good in such simple things is expensive, so all it was necessary to show more scenes where the main character reacts to attacks and at least feels something. At the very beginning, it is said that due to the aggressive look, Ryuji has no friends and everyone avoids him, which in theory unites him in a certain sense with Taiga. That’s just all in words, in fact it is very weak. Sometimes in movies or anime, it doesn’t matter. The question is raised, obstacles are indicated, sometimes quite serious, but in the end everything is solved by itself, and the obstacles are forgotten. Immediately went even further and forgot about the problem faster than it was clearly identified.
In the end, although I was disappointed to some extent, I still got my share of pleasure. The effect of the first impression was quite strong. Outwardly, I liked the characters very much and even when I became less interested, still small glimpses arose and did not let this series be abandoned. There are still quite a lot of funny moments in this anime, so as a comedy it is quite a successful work. I have no regrets about the time spent, the series definitely has merits. At least I think that if you just get acquainted with the anime genre, then Toradora is a good option.

Ami, so you took it? So big. . .
- Well, that's my job.
- Big, is it something like this?
- No, he's a lot. . .
- What is it that you have big, are you really big?
- Oh, come on, we're talking about big dogs!
At the very beginning of the story seems probably typical, a simple high school guy secretly in love with a classmate ... but after watching the first episode, you already feel interested and eager to look further. Atypical appearance of the main character obsessed with cleaning, creates a certain contrast and adds interest to the series. Adult jokes also add to the highlight.
Each character is unique in its own way, with its own desires and secrets, which at one time or another are revealed and each of them understands that he is not alone. Sooner or later, everything will be revealed.
The topic of the school is shown very well, more refers to friendly classes. There is a certain nostalgia (for those who have long since graduated from school). You can put it that way in the past.
Bottom line: a rather interesting plot, bearing morality in almost every series, a beautiful drawing, the development of love relationships (affecting many problems of this age and their solution), all this makes the series very exciting, interesting, exciting, sometimes you can even let a tear. I'm thrilled!
Let the story, in fact, and comes from the perspective of the guy, yet it is anime for girls. I was surprised to see it at 25. Despite the naiveté of the narrative, the anime raises quite important family issues. Very little, but it touches on the subject of death. There is no single love, the characters fall in love with some and then with others. In shōjo, you don’t see such topics very often, which gives you realism. I did not think that I could be interested in teenage problems, but it was really interesting to watch.
Heroes are charming. Both main and secondary. Ryu is a perfect man, and just a good man.
Since the anime is shot early, there are no typical comic manga effects, which again brings a bit of seriousness, which ToraDora combines with cute humor.
The only drawback - probably, it would be possible to fit into a smaller number of series, and show the emergence of feelings of the characters to each other a little more consistently.
Sometimes you find treasure where you didn’t expect it. Something unusual, soulful that absorbs you completely, and, having let go, leaves with warm memories in half with a bright sadness, because everything is over.
It was an accident. The screensaver that caught the eye attracted attention, no, not the first seconds, but by the way the characters of the main characters were marked with literally small strokes at once, coupled with the overall rhythmicity of the visual and musical components of the opening itself. "Romantic situational comedy," I thought. And I was wrong.
True, until the fifth episode of the anime is exactly what you expect. The two main characters, Ryuji and Taiga, as they can, try to improve relations with their lovers, while getting into ridiculous, comic situations. After the raid of lightness gradually subsides, each time more and more giving way to melodrama, almost turning into drama. At first you don’t notice, but then you realize that suddenly, a little bit, a little, you start to worry about the characters.
It would seem that this could happen? You're an adult who's experienced in this kind of thing, the more you've looked at Wikipedia before it's over. How did a simple anime manage to touch the strings of your soul, awakening long forgotten feelings?
It was not difficult, but I escaped to the Kremlin, picked up secret, archival documents and found out that the Japanese are very fond of revealing all the intrigue in their openings. Even through songs. Thus, as in the film “Inception” by Christopher Nolan, certain expectations are laid in the background of the viewer.
That's where the fun starts. Since the result is known, the quality of the study of the story comes to the fore, which here throughout the series does not lose its adequate presentation. And thanks to the brightly written main characters, each of whom you understand as yourself, there is a sense of belonging. At some point, it becomes obvious that the heroes themselves have not really realized. Expectation clashes with reality. It seems that the epiphany will never come. There are numerous scenario twists and turns ahead, and their path to knowledge will be long, also revealing truths like “what is dear to you can be very close” and “you do not need to run away from problems, but you need to solve them in a timely manner.”
None of this would work if the creators of the anime did not treat their creation with love and sincere passion. Falsehood is easy to spot. And when a work is really catchy, whether it's a book, a computer game, a feature film, a cartoon or anime doesn't matter.
P.S. The last series must be watched until the end. It turns out, unfortunately, there are a decent number of people who didn't, and in the end got the wrong overall impression.
Anime opening with such a disgusting, in musical terms, oupening, immediately sowed in me a grain of doubt. As it turned out, the spider's instinct did not let me down.
It all begins with the fact that the main character flies a double in the temple from some dwarf with the habits of a hopnik-karatist. By the time the viewer understands that the karatist dwarf is the main character and will play a major role in the life of our hero, it is too late to give the back. Then it turns out that the main character is a masochist cook, who every day gets a dwarf from our girl in the face from the turntable, and then with a smile goes to cook for himself, her and her mother, who works as a prostitute. When you get to this point, you can immediately skip the middle of the anime, because there, besides pathetic attempts to confess love and daily beatings of the main character, almost nothing happens. If you like formulas, the formula of the usual series would look something like this: get up, cook breakfast, go to school, beating, lunch, beating, trying to confess love, going home with lengthy philosophical arguments, dinner, beating, sleep. By the middle of the anime, the authors make it clear how everything will end, and that the hope of changing the plot for the better will die in terrible agony. And I especially loved the pseudophilosophical arguments of the characters, which look even more pathetic than beating puppies with their feet.
But if the masochist and dwarf cause at least some emotions, then the secondary characters, if they cause, it is either irritation or severe irritation. They mainly serve as scenery for beating scenes. But what was most mysterious and incomprehensible to me, after all I saw, is this anime's high rating. . .
Well, the story began very usually, judging now. But then all this fuss with everyday life began. That changed everything 180 degrees. I think this anime has become such a pillar in such genres. No wonder it's brilliant. Don't look at it. There were attempts before and after him. But only a few were able to approach this anime.
I really like the fact that the plot is very well set and from the right jumps. Races in the sense that you do not get bored. I think there are 2 parts here.
The first is where you are introduced to heroes. A boy who looks like a mobster but is actually kind, and a hurtful girl who is actually very lonely. There are a couple of characters: like an ordinary guy but who really wants to love but for whatever reason he is told to wait you will be better without me, a girl who looks like a jumper but who delicately senses the souls of people and who is ready to sacrifice herself and her happiness, and a little liar but she is the one who most needs love.
And the second part is where you start to realize that there's fear and pain behind this banality. Where humor subtly harmonizes with hard reality. Perhaps this anime took all the bad things in love. Where you're rejected or you have everything except what's really important. Just like life. Why is that? I don't know how you can think of something like that without going through it. Why do you feel so sad after watching? I've looked and thought. Will they meet again or not? Will someone fill the void in Ami’s heart?
I was amazed when they were at Grandma’s. Where that bug became the sweetest girl in the world. She just wanted to melt into his kiss. And then she left...
I don’t know about you, but I want to feel what they feel.
After watching this anime, make a conclusion for yourself. Here everyone will find the answer to the question asked. I won't tell you my question. But the answer was, "Seek and find."
You're determined. I came in when the girl was in the bathroom.
- I-I didn't mean to!
- I won’t tell anyone if we’re with you right now.
What do you mean?
- Don't you want to come with me?
- Don't want what?!
Wash the bath.
This is the first time I'm writing an anime review, it already says something. In my opinion, this anime is objectively included in at least the Top 3 best in its genre. Why? Let's go in order...
At the very beginning of the viewing, I personally had a sense of predictability and banality from what was happening. The main characters - uncomfortably arrogant arrogant selfish careless (at first glance) typical girl-tsundere and kind soft neat hardworking caring guy. Complete opposites. Moreover, their opposite is not only in characters, but also in appearance: a small fragile thin girl with an angelic face who does not look at her 17, and a tall stocky stately guy with the look of a murderer, from whom everyone shuns. And in the end, they will find each other, despite the absolutely polar differences in characters and appearance, “because, as you know, opposites attract” – trivially hint to us the authors of the anime.
I thought so. But as the plot develops, everything becomes not so unambiguous, the relationships of the heroes are too confused, who cannot understand even themselves, and even more so in other people. As a result, the intrigue lasts almost to the very end. I didn't expect that. And generally banal at first glance, the theme of two opposites becomes very interesting and funny as you watch it. Moreover, in the end, it is possible to break the pattern and all the predictability can only be a mistake. Why might? Because I won't tell you whether or not, look for yourself. What is the habit of noticing predictability and banality? Even if it's corny, so what? “I don’t want to be a snob, I want to enjoy this anime,” I thought, and continued watching, and the viewing became more and more exciting, about the second half of the series turns from a light romantic comedy into a romantic drama, first mixing and then growing into it, the further — the more. No, I don’t mean to say that at the end of humor and funny situations there are none, but the drama overshadows them. And this, I think, is the reason for almost all the negative reviews about this anime. “Suddenly rolled into snot, clarifying relationships and kisses” – this is the essence of the claim. But such people are a minority, most still understand that this is not just a comedy anime about the life of schoolchildren, and the words “romantic” or “romantic” in the descriptions to it are not in vain. And I'm personally hooked by this reversal, first you get used to the characters, you get into them, you think you understand them, but then these characters suddenly open up in a new way, making you feel, worry, empathize, and not just laugh or get angry at the beginning. “This anime suits more girls” – will say detractors, but here this anime has something to oppose them, though I won’t say what exactly, otherwise it may look like a spoiler. I will only say that there are small hints of harem.
About the characters. In addition to the relations of diametrically opposite main characters, secondary characters with their own characteristics and intrigues are also shown. Not that it's new, but it is. There are many of them, all very different, each is important in its own way, the elaboration of characters and images of the characters is just wonderful and deep, so I would even say that in this anime there are not two main characters, but at least 5 (if you did not watch the anime, then you still probably have already noticed that almost everywhere the pictures depict five characters, not two), or even 10 (if you add some classmates and a class leader). All this cheerful and diverse team creates an extraordinary atmosphere and gives a fun pastime (sometimes sad). And then you begin to understand what is so good anime and why it has such a rating.
After viewing, I have a small sediment.
First, the ending. Not that she disappointed me, but rather surprised, it seems that everything ends as I wanted, but at the same time a little confused the behavior of some of the main characters. And the main thing is not to say that it is wrong, I fully understand the reason for the act, and even, probably, I accept it if I understand the motives well, but still some residue remained. But this is even for the best, because this is another plus of this anime, to its unpredictability.
Second, you start to think again that: whether I was unlucky with my environment, whether I was to blame for everything, or I was unlucky with the country, and in Japan teenagers are so wonderful, so good friends and care for each other, or all this is a beautiful fiction. I prefer the latter, even to comfort myself.
In any case, even if it is fiction, it is very instructive. We are reminded in a soul-weeping example that inside people can be quite different from what they look externally at first glance. All this is another coin in the treasury of my understanding of the causes of human behavior, as well as in the treasury of tolerance and respect for them. Two coins. Beautiful, expensive, good-quality coins, just like this anime.

'Toradora!' one of the brightest representatives of the genre of school romantic comedy. The idea is not very different from similar anime. Another ' school history', another tsundere, mocking a poor guy-goodie, and their friends. All this is not new, which, however, did not prevent this anime from earning a high rating. It's about implementation.
Full 25 episodes! Of course, the number of episodes still does not say anything, but still the viewer will have more time to get acquainted with the characters, and in order to get involved in the atmosphere of this anime. Shiyo can still be called a plus. Charismatic and very bright characters with a pronounced character also played a very important role in the success of the series. Despite this, the focus is mostly on the two main characters (understandably). Characters of the second plan (in particular, friends of the main characters) appear often, but acquaintance with them is only ' superficial'. It is a pity, because they are happy with interesting ones, and I also want to know more about them. There are philosophical comparisons that carry a hidden meaning. Nothing much 'deep' they don't, but they always fit in, and bring a bit of variety. Not without a dramatic note, especially in the last series.
Easy and fun, touching and uncomplicated anime. Attracts the viewer not so much intrigue as its ' carefree & #39; atmosphere. Funny situations, ' energetic' plot, and a bit of romance. And thanks to such a character as Taiga, you will not be bored!
Tiger or dragon? - Whatever! In the face of love, everyone is equal!

25 episodes look like one breath. ToraDora... what is it? well-written romance and in truth a small lesson for lovers... for both schoolchildren and adults.
After watching, I spent a day trying to express in words the feelings left over from what I saw. Very sweet, gentle and meanwhile touching, very touching.
The hero is really alive, thanks to his characters and actions. Their actions are not sucked out of the finger, as are the secondary characters. When viewing, there is no feeling of no idea why? or why? The plot is well balanced and this is a huge plus.
We were shown how two opposite sides can become one. If before 12 episodes we understand that the characters are destined to be in place, then after the remaining episodes there is not a fake sense of experience that they will not be able to see each other's feelings. The humor of most of the plot smoothly turns into tears. You do not have time to understand when and began to sympathize with the characters, both main and secondary. And this, as I have already written, is the main plus of the painting.
Anime should be seen by everyone, both large and small, a lot of instructive, a lot of humor. Beautifully drawn, which pleases even more. Look at the companies or the difference itself, no one will remain indifferent.
And music is just something that at the right moment will make anyone cry.

Since ancient times, only a dragon could compare with a tiger. And even though you are not here, I will jump through time and space and will always be with you!
And that feeling will never change.
Let me say, I am not a fan of such genres. I prefer things on which the case is given ' to break' head, and such elements are not included in the school daily, telling about the romantic life of a couple of teenagers, and yet for some reason I had to sit down to watch Toradora. And you know what?
Toradora begins as a simple comedy centered on Aisaka Taiga, a miniature girl with a huge temperament, and Ryuji Takasu, a young boy with a frightening look that is shunned by people around him, except for a few people. They find themselves in high school in the same class, and with them in 2-C gets a longtime friend of Ryuji - Kitamura, to whom Taiga is not indifferent, and Taiga's best friend - Minoru Kushieda, in which Ryuji sees the love of his life. And so, by coincidence of some circumstances, our Main Heroes unite and decide to provide each other with mutual assistance in relation to the people around them, including their passions.
The idea of the series itself is usual, but not with a standard approach, here family relations, and touching meetings, and everything that happens on the screen is seasoned with a good drawing with musical accompaniment. And all would be fine, but Toradora is not one of the best representatives of its genre. What does it lack, you ask? Speakers. Most of the time, you have to look forward to the last series and just force yourself to watch, because with the series, the tenth pace of the narrative goes into decline, what happens turns into a thrust, becomes just boring. And only towards the end of the series catches up with the previous speed and gives us a high-quality, well-designed ending. Yeah, great. But the aftertaste is still spoiled.
