Not surprised. The movie is pretty good. The atmosphere is amazing, dark clouds, gray faces, serious, heartfelt conversations. It's kind of heavy, psychological drama. But that's at first glance. I wanted to watch the movie when I saw it on a channel. I thought, this is it, this is it. I've been looking for something like that for a long time. I'm putting a lot of stress on my brain tonight. But there was always something missing. Sad moment, tearful melody, terrible memories, Kutcher's eyes!!! The film tells the viewer to CRY! No, I don't want to, it doesn't work.
How do you empathize with heroes? Frankly, on the drum. Everything that happened on the screen. It's not about acting, it's okay. It's about logic. She's been away, she's on vacation. Where's common sense? I know, grief. Everyone seeks comfort in his neighbor; if there is no neighbor, he seeks someone. It's normal. But what the director filed. Like he filed. No integrity, no logic. Or rather, it is, but the same as the unhealthy boy Clay. As they say, do not seek understanding, in lost reason.
I wanted the director to convey to the viewer that very “sadness” (dramatism), but overdid, some moments could be poured in pure banalism, it would be better. And in the beginning everything is very good, in the beginning I wanted to put a solid eight. But... I didn't make it. I would recommend watching the movie, at least not. If you take it all, it's not bad. Don’t expect too much, then you’ll be happy.
Bottom line: We wanted to make the film dramatic, so that a tear was shed on every corner, so that the whole soul penetrated to the heroes, and it turned out to be an incomplete picture, devoid of any meaning. Not too surprised. I just expected more (as always), so the residue on the soul remained. But I'll keep it neutral.
