Departure team In 2008, the first season of the American series “Impact” directed by Dean Devlin was released. The main roles are played by: Timothy Hutton, known for the films “French Kiss”, “Secret Window”, and the series “Secrets of Niro Wolfe” and “Five Days Until Midnight”; and the lesser known Gina Bellman, Christian Kane, Beth Risgraf and Eldis Hodge.
Former employee of the insurance company Nate Ford, who lost his son, unites in one team hacker Hardison, a thief and extremely flimsy nature Parker, a professional fraudster Sophia Devereaux and accustomed to forceful settlement Elliot. Their main task is to help the deceived and disadvantaged. Who better to handle it than thieves?
The idea tells the story of the Robin Hood of our day. Forests are replaced by stone jungles, and bows and swords are the latest technical innovations. They are addressed by those who have lost hope of finding justice through legal means. They work out schemes, find the best option and turn it into a case.
The main characters have different characters and mores. Often they quarrel, enter into discussions, opening their inner world. Nate is calm and balanced, obsessed with revenge for the death of his son, the oldest of the team and wisely experienced. Parker is a thief, shows the qualities of a kleptomaniac, best friends of money and she loves them. She had a difficult childhood that influenced her character. She is self-contained and has difficulty communicating. Hacker Hardison is progressing, aware of the latest developments and technical innovations. Sociable, easy to trust. Fraudster Sophie is fond of dangerous adventures and scams, in French sensual and attractive. And finally, generalist Elliot. An ardent supporter of force, a participant in hostilities, cold-bloodedly dealing with the enemy.
The show may not be new, but it’s a pretty good idea. Interesting storylines. Good acting is seasoned with sarcasm and humor. Undoubtedly, there are disadvantages, which include the presence of a certain number of “stupid” scenes: implausible robberies, getting “dry out of the water”. But for series of this kind, in general, the trait is quite common, and does not greatly spoil the perception.
