Anxiety in a mother's heart Love as a Motive is a Russian detective melodrama of 2008. When I started watching this movie, I didn’t think I would like it so much and remember it so well. I thought it would be an ordinary Russian movie, but it’s not. The movie turned out to be interesting, difficult and disturbing. We see that the relationship between mother-in-law and son-in-law is bad. A woman thinks she's cheating on her daughter, and she's right. Starting to follow him, she shoots him at night on camera, and this night forever deprives the tranquility of her life, and we see a confusing detective story with a double bottom and an unpredictable plot.
Vera Alentova is a wonderful and strong actress, and I have long liked her very much. She has a certain charm, exclusivity. She is an interesting woman and I love watching movies with her. In this detective, Alentova was as wonderful as ever and looked good. She played realistically and I felt sorry for her character. The actress who played her daughter is also a nice girl, and I remember her well after this film. This film is by no means banal, but quite interesting, difficult and with a couple of surprises. I liked this detective, and I believe that he deserves attention and a positive assessment.
