Our daughter. Sissy Spacek is a beautiful, American actress who has a lot of diverse and deep roles. I love watching movies with her, and every movie in her collection is something interesting and challenging. This movie came out more than twenty years ago, but I just watched it now. The picture turned out to be very strong and relevant today.
In this incredible story, we see single mother Susan, who works as a nurse and alone raises the son of a teenager. One day, a newborn girl gets to her hospital, who was transmitted HIV from the mother of a drug addict who abandoned a child. No one needs a sick child and nothing is waiting for him. Susan makes the courageous decision to take the girl home and become her mother. A year later, the mother of a drug addict who wants to take her daughter is announced.
The story of the film itself is strong, and the outcome of the plot is extremely unusual and unexpected. You watch this whole movie with surprise. The story is interesting and inspiring. It contains morality and human kindness. The main character of this story deserves close attention. She looks like a small, fragile woman, but she has so much strength and power that it pleases the eye. This movie is about never giving up, and faith, hope and love can do wonders. The ending of the film is unexpected and without tears it is impossible to watch.
I read that this drama is based on real events. If so, the film is doubly worth the attention. Sissy Spacek played as always purely and with deep thought. She is always perfect for a soulful movie. She is the author of Mary Louise Parker. She also played decently, and all the time it seemed that she really had AIDS in appearance. As a nanny, it was nice to see Joan Plawright: a good and pleasant actress.
Shelter for Annie is a 1994 American television drama. This is a film about human kindness and faith, a small miracle and strength of spirit. The film is very strong and I was happy to see it. I remember this story and recommend it to watch. Thank you.
