The story of a wonderful elephant. High quality, wonderful. I loved it and watched it for the first time. Incredibly kind, positive and homely warm cartoon. When I started watching it, I didn’t realize it was a movie. It all started as a movie with real people. By the way, the cartoon was in my filmography Akshaya Kumara.
Seeing the cartoon character on the poster, I thought that this is something like the film "Super Hero of Tunpur" with Aljay Devgan, where he came to the country of cartoons, or a wonderful Czech film of the Soviet era , in which the characters of the cartoon are combined with real people, in general something fabulous. Turned out no, I was just wrong. Akshay Kumar in the role of the narrator of this story and voices the main character - the elephant Janvira, which everyone loves to call Jambo. It was so nice to hear the velvet low baritone Akshaya from the elephant's mouth. In general, all the characters of this wonderful story are voiced by the beautiful Bollywood actors, Akshay Kumar, Dimple Kapadia, Lara Datta, Rajpal Yadav, Asrani, and of course the main negative character is voiced by the stunning Gulshan Grover. Even in the cartoon, you treat his character with indignation. Great.
The plot of this cartoon tells us the story of a sweet and kind elephant. Since childhood, Jumbo grew up without a father, for which his relatives always mocked him and endlessly teased him. Our kind hero was always interested in the life and fate of his father, but he knew only that his father was a war elephant in a huge royal army. Circumstances develop in the hero so that Jumbo decides to find his own father in any way, whatever it costs him.
This is an Indian cartoon, and the plot is purely Indian, as in the movie. But everything is filmed with such love and attention to children who will watch, or have already seen this cartoon, that you just rejoice (we do not shoot such cartoons). And, of course, as in any Indian film, the characters are people who enjoy life, sing and dance, and with them dance and elephants (perhaps that is why India is called the “land of dancing elephants”?).
The movie is quite interesting. Very good, colorful and understandable to children. The original name is "Blue Elephant". In India, the cult of the elephant elevates it to a special position among other animals. Kids love movies like that. My daughter and I liked the elephant and the way the animation was done. India is good at not only movies, but also children's cartoons. Naively, kindly - what children need.
A very kind and positive cartoon and very instructive, like all Indian cinema.
