The one whose widow you claim to be forgets you and marries another. . . I came across this film quite by accident, and at the very beginning, and since there was nothing else to watch, my sister and I decided to stop at it. I’ve always been a movie lover, so for me to watch a new movie every day is a sacred thing! I saw Shahid and thought the movie would be good. The name of the project was promising, I was determined to laugh from the heart. The first 10, 20, 30 minutes went by, but I didn’t see anything interesting. The basis of the film was not even a love line, as it usually happens and attracts me in Indian films, but an attempt to create an original comedy. I don’t dispute that there were some funny moments in the film, but in general, many attempts to make the audience laugh failed. I sincerely hoped that a touching and romantic ending would save the day, but no! In the final scene, there were attempts to make the viewer cry, but they also failed.
Personally, in my opinion, the only thing that really saved the situation was the play, and not all the actors, but only Shahid Kapoor. It was the first movie I saw with him, but I heard about him many times. From the very beginning to the very end, he played, as it seemed to me, putting all his efforts into it. I don’t deny the fact that I usually watch movies that someone recommends to me, and try to choose something with the participation of famous actors, but I think it’s time to stop this tradition, or at least not always rely on it, because a lot of films that I haven’t heard anything about turn out to be interesting, and those that advise me disappoint me. I can’t say that this film is one of them, on the contrary, it did not impress me at all, there were flaws in the script, and the plot itself seemed to have been invented in an hour and a half. As I’ve already written, Shahid was the only actor who pulled the film to a solid 3, and since I don’t write negative reviews, even if I didn’t like the film (I’m not talking about this project), I don’t write anything on it, and this film could have gone without a review without Shahid in it. Even Karina, who I think is an incredibly talented actress, played very poorly here. In general, I had the feeling that the director was not particularly eager to make a film, and many scenes were not spent more than one take. I was a little disappointed by the picture, but still there were fun moments, and Shahid looked just stunning. I think I'll move on to his movies now. What do I do? If I saw a cute and cute actor, I immediately begin to study his filmography and personal life.
I have heard that the film was not a success, but I can safely say that there are films that have received a lot of awards, no different from the failed, and maybe even worse. Everyone has their own point of view, but I recommend watching the film only to those who recommended it to someone else. If someone has a good opinion about this project, then you need to include it and just understand it. I don’t regret watching it, but the movie didn’t touch me. If it wasn’t for Shahid, the film would have disappointed me and lost in my memory very quickly.
