It often happens that successful projects get continuations. And the creators in this case, you can understand: a good idea is already there, it just needs a little twist, and fans are happy to go to the movies or buy a disc with the film. But the quality of these products often leaves much to be desired. 'Bachelor party 2' went down the path of least resistance with only one goal: to collect money from gullible spectators, nothing useful in return.
A group of friends is going to go to Thailand for Stu's wedding. This time, quiet gatherings are planned so that the story with Vegas does not repeat itself. The plan predictably fails miserably, and the guys wake up again in an unfamiliar place. . .
A joke said twice becomes stupid. I think many have heard of this axiom. The storyline is 70% brazenly copied from the original. Of course, the authors changed the situation and the scene, but the concept remained intact. Why should the viewer be asked to watch previously familiar situations again? Why is the police in the city completely inactive? The heroes had to wake up in the department for organizing a mutiny or get there later for a frantic race through the city. No one cares about that. In addition, the predictable behavior of the characters turns their adventures into a very tedious spectacle.
Atmosphere. I had the impression that the viewer tried to buy nostalgic inserts. Then Alan’s new phrases will be thrown, then Tyson will be led by the hand. All these techniques do not help when the development of the characters is not working, but simply bring their actions to the absurd without explanation. Stu attributes it to his inner demons, but what happened to him made the dentist a real laughingstock. I knew there would be a full thrash in Bangkok, but I didn’t expect that outcome. It is strange that Stu quickly recovered from such a psychological trauma, and his father-in-law reacted to the problem with understanding. Alan has been turned from a merry man into a grumpy and meticulous type. Except that Phil remained himself. Bradley Cooper and Ed Helms Try to play out their tired images with all their might, but in a global sense this does not save the picture.
Humor.Humor has fallen into the abyss. Are there really funny moments in the sequel? I would answer that question in the negative. You can always remember the joke about Skype, the fun chase at the end and the final photos, but all this can bring the maximum smile. And the rest - vulgarity, stupidity and irrelevance.
Music. The selection is slightly weaker this time than the one that was in the original, but among the songs there are cool songs. My favorites are 'The Downeaster 'Alexa'' (Billy Joel), 'The Beast in Me' (Mark Lanegan) and 'Love Train' (Wolfm) .
Result. For me, fun is possible where there is an adequate measure. It is the observance of the limits of what is permissible and not going beyond the limits of moral norms that distinguish a conscious citizen from a mad idiot. Guys crossed those lines. .
In 2009, Todd Phillips showed us a real, original comedy about an incredibly bright and completely uncontrollable bachelor party. This film took its originality of the script, the extraordinary cycle of events, and, of course, the infantile friend “Alan”, which is a highlight on the cake.
After the film's amazing break in box office and ratings, it was clear what the sequel was! But, as you know, the sequels of films, especially comedies, come out less interesting and more boring than the first part, because the director leaves the same basis of the film, and changes only the filling. And just this basis and this stuffing, we can see in the sequel from Todd Phillips “Bachelor party 2: From Vegas to Bangkok”.
Plot:
Four friends – Phil, Stu, Alan and Doug – travel to Thailand for Stu’s wedding. After an anarchist bachelor party in Vegas, the guys plan to have a calm and safe holiday. But, everything goes wrong, and then the most interesting begins.
Actors:
It's a comedy. The actors played very poorly and usually. No extravaganza of acting should be expected.
Pattern of the picture:
The whole movie was like, “I’ve seen it before,” right? We see exactly what happened in the first part of the picture. They don't remember anything again. They lost someone again. Getting in trouble again. And that word is "again," "again," "again."
Conclusion:
To be honest, watching is extremely boring. Yes, there is humor in the film, yes, moments funny, but is that all that Todd Phillips has to offer for the sequel that blew up and became a cult? Looking at the picture, you will feel a sense of déjà vu, I assure you. And that feeling will haunt you literally throughout the film.

I'm going to miss you, monkey. It's a shame you don't have a skype.
Well, you can't make sequels to comedies, even good ones, I would say especially good ones. After all, the authors have essentially two reasonable ways, to try to do all the same things that brought the success of the first part or to shoot a completely new story just using the favorite characters. The first path looks more reliable and it was on it that Todd Phillips went.
By and large, the film looks like a partial remake of the first part, only the scenery has changed to more exotic. The Asian flavour, by the way, came to the place and some scenes could work only in such conditions. But at the same time, the structure of the film has not changed one iota.
We have a wedding again, there is an impromptu bachelor party after which the characters remember nothing. There are a certain number of almost copied scenes, such as the loss of one of the key characters or not quite the usual acquaintance with local prostitutes. But the jokes themselves have become more rude and straightforward, and here it already looks too much.
Too brazen sequel that did not bring a single fresh idea into the history. Yes, many scenes work perfectly the second time, but the freshness of impressions is lost.

Director Todd Phillips has a very uneven filmography. Sometimes there are just great projects, bright, really funny (and he specializes mainly in comedies) and certainly very memorable. I would now include “Road Adventure”, as well as the first part – “Bachelor party in Vegas”. Unfortunately, there is a downside to the coin, it is not that very happy. In the camp of failed projects, I would take things like “Starsky and Hutch”, and, perhaps strangely enough, the second part of “Bachelor Party”. I do not want to say that the film is very bad, no, it is not bad at all, but it has a number of serious problems.
The plot of the picture again returns to our screens three idiotic friends who, as follows, are delayed, apparently only at their own weddings. Like the last time, the characters wake up in hell knows where, everyone has complete amnesia and an obvious desire to find a friend who, alas, as before, has disappeared. In general, everything is done according to the template of the first part, without any significant deviations. The guys again go into all seriousness, in order to find out all the circumstances of the last night, find a missing friend, and at least have time for the wedding.
Immediately I want to note that the picture will cause at least some delight only when viewed in the company. Yeah, it's fun, it's funny. But as soon as you sit down for the second part alone, then all, most of the advantages of the film evaporate before your eyes, it is no longer a funny comedy, but ambiguous something with far from the most inventive humor. Which, in my opinion, was in the first part of the series. Yes, there are certainly good moments that can really entertain the viewer, but they are extremely few. It is also saddened by the fact that by the second half or probably closer to the final, "Bachelor Party 2" is completely rolling and can not please.
The cast seems to be trying, but most of all I somehow pleased Bradley Cooper and Ken Jong, even though the lion’s part of the plot of the picture is focused on Ed Helms. Yes, his character more than others here got into funny situations, but did not go at all. And more, to allocate probably no one, except the main trinity. Although, no, the monkey was well trained, even she carried the burden of the work.
Obviously, it’s not for nothing that I ignored the second part of “Bachelor Party” all this time. Do I regret watching it? No, by no means, but it is clearly not good for a re-examination, unlike the same "Bachelor Party in Vegas." It's too clichéd, standard and not that much fun. As I mentioned above, the work is purely for social viewing. Alone, there is a chance to get very bored and not to watch until the end, since the second half of the work is trying to force you to stop watching and just go to sleep. Although especially scold here probably for nothing, middle peasant, just a middle peasant, without enthusiasm. The third part is definitely past me, there is a suspicion that everything is very bad there.

Terrible American guys in the face of tall handsome Phil Phil, bore groom Stew and crazy fat man Alan return to the path of the wolf pack and better not try to stop them! There will be no mercy! Everyone will die. Or from an overdose... Or from a hangover...
Anyone who says Vegas is the pinnacle of heaven on earth has never been to Bangkok! The Asian center of skyscrapers and the poorest slums, the world's lair of sex tourism, affordable transvestites, ruthless tuk-tuks, legendary massage and paradise sensations. Well, what will happen to Bangcock, if honorary champions of Vegas in the super-alcoholic category, kings of inadequacy and all obscenities, our old friends with the participation of a bosom friend Doug, as well as close Asian guests Taddy and a good friend of Mr. Chow!
And no one has canceled the fun pills yet!
Bangkok Movie and Bangkok live differ at least Full HD and a brighter color scheme on the screen. I don’t remember elephants on the streets either. What can not be said about temples, monks, motor rickshaws, highways, pink and yellow-green taxis with taximeters, noodles, stripbars, makashnits. It is not surprising that Todd Phillips, placing the main characters in a different environment of a foreign country, briefly introduced the viewer to all the charms and catchy features of the capital of hot Thailand. And let us not expect any education, except for bluish cards Alan, with one eye you can look at something approximate life of modern Thais.
As it turned out, a very good budget in the face of 80 million owes half to the actors and the director of the film, and the good news is that everything is unchanged. The same person, the same author and director - what could be better? The creators did not abandon the main concept of the film and moved the style of exposition of the miraculous story to the Thai realities, clearly copying everything solid that was gained by hard work 2 years ago. The result - the Bangkok wrapper of the plot skeleton allowed to create a completely new story, but with all the previous successful director's moves.
Absolutely none of these sweltering four can boast of stunning success with the audience individually, except for the gaining momentum Bradley Cooper. They are solid and good with one team, where everyone complements each other not only in the plot of the film, but also on the set. Sweetface Cooper is responsible for beauty, gloss, white shirts, tall, long hair, bristles and coolness. Stupid Ed Helms carries the proud banner of the main irritant and dead-end branch of the male miner. Easily pronounced Galifianakis will die with any of its phrases, serious style, stupid antics and permanent beard. Justin Barta, according to a good tradition, will miss all the fun and somehow miraculously remain out of the business of a grandiose binge, but with all his thoughts he is always near.
"Bachelor party" would not be himself if a couple of male offshoots did not flash on the screen, but bold phrases in the spirit of "he has sperm" and "you are an enchanting twat..."
This is Bangkok, baby. It's so necessary!
Very interesting contrast of thoughts Todd Phillips, which allows an unreal separation with all the heavy, and then, in the best traditions of happy endings, completes all the confusion and anarchy with angel weddings with the tender faces of night demons. Thus, giving a green signal to both Gulens and exemplary boys and satisfying the interest in what they saw in each of these groups.
The return of the trigade managed to all 100, but even such a gap is not the limit. So we exchange native rubles for distant baht and forward towards the collapse!
The demons are all in us!

In one place, the bomb does not fall twice, but it will fall on our heroes in another place, since life has taught them nothing. Doug, Stu, Alan and Phil will step on the same rake in another city that can "take" anyone who has not been taught that God cares. Our heroes managed to “go off” to the fullest in Las Vegas, after which they had to sweat hard to get their friend back (as it turned out, they didn’t need to sweat much), now they were carried away in “Dangerous” / “Bloody”... as he was still called in the militants? In general, a repetition of what was passed, only in another part of the world. The second part of the famous comedy is shot as well as the first, but the city of Bangkok itself is not as beautiful, unlike Las Vegas. Extreme scenes will suffice in this part, but what is missing here is what is the main component of any comedy - humor. In this regard, the first part also wins. "Bachelor party in Vegas" has become a cult youth comedy, and he quite deserved this status, but the sequel turned out to be many times weaker in terms of jokes. Despite the fact that there was more frank humor, and so much profanity that the Goblin himself translated this film, there was much less truly funny than in the first film. The plot is based on the same as in the first part - on the aftermath of the party of heroes. This time, another member of the Wolf Pack gets married and arranges a bachelor party, and the restless four take the bride’s underage brother with them. It will be lost in a dangerous city.
Of course, to hear the exact translation of the film, it is desirable to watch it in the Goblin voiceover, or in extreme cases, with a duplicate translation with Goblin subtitles - good, there is such an option, the same was the first part, only there the author of the obscene translation was Seqw0. But that doesn’t make you laugh from start to finish, like it was in the first part. Of all the few funny moments, only the hermaphrodite scene was remembered, and a sad guitar song performed by one of the members of the Wolf Pack after the heroes met with this miracle of nature. Pleases in this part only active plot - this is perhaps the only thing in which the sequel is not inferior to the original. However, unlike the first film, the second one doesn’t want to be revisited. The same applies to the third part, which for some reason got the same name, although there was no bachelor party and no hangover (in the original language and in the author's translations, all three parts are called "Hangover"). The second part is good as a movie, but not as a comedy.

As they say, “History has the property of repeating itself.” It would be nice to know our heroes Phil, Stu, Alan and Doug. Stu gets married and invites friends and Alan to a wedding in Thailand. Remembering (partially) all that they had to go through in Vegas, the friends plan to spend a quiet gathering on the shore with a fire and beer instead of a bachelor party, but everything goes awry. And this time it is not easy to bring them to Bangkok.
Before the director of the Bachelor Party, Todd Phillips, there was a difficult task of filming a sequel to a successful film. As the practice of the Hollywood era shows, the sequel often cannot repeat part of the success of the first picture, becoming a pale copy of the original and a joy for the atrocities of film critics, the only exception, IMHO, is the Terminator. There are two main concepts of successful films: The first is the removal of a neat copy from the original with minor changes and additions; The second is a completely new look and/or a complete change of heart. Todd Phillips decided to opt for a lighter and better-trodden track and, so to speak, "don't touch what works." Naturally, the film should not have slipped into banal self-citation, and the main task of the director was to bring a “fresh stream” into the project. This “jet” is both a successful and unsuccessful part of the second “Bachelor party”. The fact that Todd Phillips decided to play in black, that is, to make the film much tougher and plunge the main characters even deeper into the abyss of debauchery and violence. In a review of the first film, I wrote “that the first film miraculously escaped sliding into a frank black woman, although it was on the verge” of the second, I think, broke this line. But for good or bad, everyone decides for himself.
The cast since the first part has not undergone significant changes. In the main characters, the "classic" Wolf Pack: not particularly lucky (he got the most in this part) dentist Stu, performed by Ed Helms, charismatic Phil, Bradley Cooper, and the audience's favorite, stupid Alan, whose role he performed, apparently loved the director because he shoved him into the film "Sideway" filmed after the first Boyfriend, Zak Galfi/b>
Bottom line:
If you liked the first movie, watch it. Of course, “blackness” can scare off a particularly gentle viewer, but in fact it is “the same” Bachelor party.
The title is related to the strategic move of the creators. I don't know what kind of fashion is going on. Promotion of non-traditional orientations, in the form of blue, trance and manic perversion. I know it's all part of society and you can't dodge it. Now is the time for this. But why the hell to show everything from such “foresights” and show everything to the smallest detail. These details are not required for the film. Instead of paying more attention to the artistic side and creating a real comedy, there is a clown of vulgarity, perverse jokes and excesses. I would not like to depart from the topic, but I can not express myself on this point. Behind these projects are billionaires like Three Hundred who have already succeeded in America with their policies of “demographic crisis.” People do not want serious relationships, do not create families, and only want physical satisfaction, that is, sex. They practically brainwash everyone, hypnotizing people, gathering them in front of screens, with pornographic clips, movies, pictures. Even in commercials, songs and everything that surrounds us, there is corruption, irresponsibility, temptation, etc. According to statistics, if in the early twentieth century in America 70% of girls married virgins, by the end of the 90s, this figure fell to about 30%. Now the whole of America and Europe is in complete “shit”, in which it will eventually “choke”. It is a pity, but even in our country it has done its job. Now, before every acquaintance with girls, you need to make "inquiries" to be sure that you communicate with a girl, and not with "boy with a finger." Or if you make friends, then do a favor, make sure that this is a friend, and not your ardent “fan” with a low bow to the “balls”. I hope this all changes someday. Although ... hardly.
Let’s move on to the movie and leave all the above behind. I will appreciate the good parts of the film:
1) The first advantage of the film is, first of all, a great atmosphere and great shooting. I really liked the work of Lawrence Scher. And yet it is clear that $80 million is not just spent; 2) Processed characters - Alan, Stu, Chow, Fill; 3) Cunning scripted move, with careful copying of the storyline and translation to Bangkok. It’s just that I was struck by the fact that as much as I could manage to shoot everything too, but not cause irritation from most viewers. (4) Humor. Although there are frequent overdoses, overdoses, but you can also notice a lot of funny episodes and jokes from the lips of the character Galifianakis; 5) Dynamics; 6) Actors' play. Especially the main actors. They get so used to their roles that you might think it’s not a movie, but they really are “in the ass” or “in the ass.” At least, unlike the “Ticket to Vegas”, these actors knew their business.
As a result: I can confidently include the film in the series "for adults" and if on my psyche, it can have little effect (after all, I am a formed person), then people under 18 years old, categorically can not watch this film.

I watched the first part of the party and didn’t like it very much. But there were really funny moments, it was fun to watch over-drinking friends. But the second part... The most that neither is stupid American humor, where the viewer is offered to laugh at toilets and terribly vulgar jokes. There's nothing else in the movie. Adventures of American guys in Bangkok begins, as in the first part, with the fact that the friends drank and woke up unknown where with memory loss. Instead of a baby this time, a monkey. Instead of a tooth, a tattoo. Step by step, they try to recover the consequences of the last night, along the way looking for a lost young botanist, the brother of the future wife, who is not clear how they got there.
Then came the natural nonsense. Cut off fingers, bandits, shooting in the city itself, ridiculous chases, openly naked transvestites and a lot, a lot of stupid and vulgar humor! The line with the transvestite mentioned above is just disgusting. Drunken sex with a man (half man?) is funny? What can I laugh at? I'm only disgusted by that. And how unpleasant that is! Bandits, drug dealers, for some reason Russians (well, why is it always Russian!), ridiculous chases, torn pig carcasses, Bangkok is shown as some kind of trash, dirty, backward and ugly.
The best one in this movie was the monkey. I felt sorry for the animal that was forced to smoke and do vulgar abominations. They also disgusted the monk. Why? I really don't understand what can be funny. There was a moment with a severed finger. Here you look and stunned, really, what is a finger, think, just a finger, but walked cool.
In general, they made a stupid American comedy about stupid American idiots. The film Bachelor party 2: From Vegas to Bangkok is suitable for viewers for whom jokes below the belt are ridiculous. Otherwise, where are these fees coming from? Surprisingly, in Russia, the rating of this slag is high. But, as they say, the taste is not disputed, but to my taste this film deserves:
Point for monkey
Ball for the cute Bradley Cooper
Point for some photos at the end under a good soundtrack
I. Wolves will grow or Adventures of a pack in the Thai concrete jungle
After a truly unforgettable binge drinking in Vegas, our brave four Musketeers go to the sweet hearts and bodies of many tourists Bangkok, Thailand, in order to say goodbye to the bachelor life of Stu, who chose a woman no less colorful than himself. But even in Thailand, drunk almost to death, the “wolf pack” will not have to wait for a calm relaxation.
The continuation of the highest-grossing and most cult comedy of the zero years, "Bachelor Party" from the American director, screenwriter and producer Todd Phillips, "Bachelor Party 2: From Vegas to Bangkok" in 2011, corresponds to the usual trend of most jumping now on the screen with extreme fertility and periodicity of sequels, the basic law of which is simple to obscene: the second part must surpass the first part in any way and outperform at the box office. Without thinking slyly and simply transferring the usual American location to an exotic South Asian, Todd Phillips in the second part of the comedy franchise showed that humor can always become even bolder, even more frank and even more offensive and inadequate, while this picture does not cause shock. because everything in it is essentially in dosed and clearly calibrated quantities and there is no obvious artistic imbalance.
Familiar in the first picture, the characters in the face of the already wildly famous Bradley Cooper, no less famous Zach Galifianakis and the solo known Ed Helms and Justin Barta, who are present in the tape rather nominally (however, this is the fate of his unfortunate hero and in the first film, sic!) are again fooling around, going crazy and trying to restore the events of the next carbon monoxious party, only this time the fire will be very strong. The four beloved sobering heroes are still charismatic and cute and follow their almost hallucinogenic trip through Thailand is interesting and disgusting, although, perhaps, this time the most vivid and colorful character was the hero of Ken Jong, a self-parody of many characters of tabloid action of Asian origin. The rest of the characters of the film serve as decorative content and do not play a special role in the plot development.
II. The meeting place cannot be changed 2
Thailand, as most people probably know, at this point in time is the embodiment of Sodom and Gomorrah to the leading line of lovers of cheap lust and cheap drugs. Pattaya and Bangkok are such cities of sin that Las Vegas, in comparison with them, seems just a tattered rat who has not seen life. Todd Phillips, in the continuation of his hangover, which means not really what is translated under the keen attention of moralistic censorship, Bangkok naturally does not romanticize or idealize completely. Therefore, our cheerful half-drunk and half-drunk four musketeers will plunge to the bottom of Thai life and colorful meetings with a mass of interesting human specimens. If Vegas was habitual and comical, then Bangkok is atypical and tragicomic, dangerous and cruel and very anally deep. True, not all the characters of the film learn the full degree of Bangkok fisting and all the charms of Thai massage by a monkey, a wise experience of a mature drug addict and drug dealer.
III. Morality collected from the same fragments of memories
Like the first film, "Bachelor Party 2: From Vegas to Bangkok" does not tend only to entertain, shock, pervert and corrupt. Even in this thoroughly burned vulgarity and plague vulgarity picture there was a place for some cozy morality, correlated with the main idea of the first film, namely: true strong friendship is able to withstand anything, even a homosexual-zoophilic orgy and traffic of prohibited substances. Everything that happens at the bachelor party, there and should remain, and already, having sobered up and come to their senses, it is better to forget everything once from sin away.
Bachelor Party 2: From Vegas to Bangkok is a hilarious and much more outspoken and naturalistic sequel to the iconic 2009 comedy that essentially set a new/old standard for the comedy genre. It will be very vulgar, it will be extremely dirty, but it will be really funny and harrowing, because high mood and slight shock are guaranteed in any case.

It's Bangkok baby. There are surprises at every turn.
There are many paintings in the world that do not need a sequel, prequel or remake. Because these films are self-sufficient, original, and in the end under the adventures of the heroes was put a bold point. But sometimes people who shot the original picture can not or do not want to stop and as a result, a movie that can not offer the viewer anything new but only exploits an interesting idea and beloved heroes. Today’s guest is a good example of that. So, this is -- and why would you want to go with the name? Why wasn’t the movie called “Hangover” right away? To a Russian, such a name would say a lot. Okay, the dubbing studio has its own atmosphere and its own substances, which they certainly use. “Bachelor Party II: From Vegas to Bangkok.”
A good two years have passed since Doug's wedding, and the consequences of the previous bachelor party have begun to disappear from the memory of young people. And since the characters do not remember anything about the events in Vegas, well, or do not want to remember, and Stu finally found a girl with whom he would like to live the rest of his days, the characters decide two days before the wedding to arrange a bachelor party and not somewhere, but in Bangkok. True, the heroes plan to arrange quiet gatherings, make a fire, drink beer and tell a few funny stories. They look like pye boys. But the morning comes and Alan, Stu and Phil wake up in a hotel room and try to figure out where they are, why there are severed fingers in a bowl of ice, what kind of monkey that is everywhere chasing heroes and finally what to do with the corpse of the head of the Chinese mafia Mr. Chow? Well, the wolf pack, welcome to Bangkok!
The main problem of the film is visible to the naked eye and it was that the director did not know what to shoot. No, of course, we have a plot that revolves around not so much remembering what happened to the characters, but around the search for the bride's brother Stu, but this is the main problem of the picture. After all, the first part was quite a good detective, where every storyline, whether it was a tiger, police or triads, led to something. That's not in the sequel. The viewer is simply put before the fact that the characters of the picture have done a lot of stuff, but do they care? No, not really. Although Stu still cares, especially in light of the fact that he is attracted to girls of easy behavior, who are not girls at all. Br, that's disgusting. But I got distracted. So the characters learn about their adventures as it were, well, Stu got a tattoo. Why did he get that tattoo? Is it because they thought it was a good idea, or is it because of the Chinese triad? Fuck knows him. We did and we did. Or imagine themselves as Che Guevara and Fidel Castro to incite the people to revolt. It's also a wonderful idea that you could make a dozen really comic situations out of, and that would lead to something, but not. We're looking for Teddy. Is it interesting to watch such a self-repeat? No more than yes.
As for the characters of the picture, how strangely they have not changed at all. Well, the hero of Zach Galifianakis, because Alan has a lot of mental disorders, and he considers himself not an adult, but a child, which is perfectly shown in flashbacks. By the way, it was a really bright and memorable moment, and if there were several similar scenes in the film, then it would not be priced. But alas, miracles happen extremely rarely and are virtually invisible to the human eye. Sorry, I'm distracted again. So Ed Helms, whose character Stu in the first part was able to demonstrate to others, and above all to himself, that he is not a spineless slug and that he can put anyone in place in the sequel ... remained a spineless slug. Um, gentlemen, you can't do that. If in the previous film there were significant changes in the character of the hero, then in the sequel you can not go back to where you started. And this is not a simple sign of good manners, it is logic! Or if you couldn’t think of a situation for “Stew with Iron Eggs,” could you please explain how this character returned to such a miserable existence? As for the character Bradley Cooper, from the second part I expected that the character of Phil will be revealed and show the hero from an unexpected side, but this for obvious reasons did not happen. And Phil is still a slob on whose behalf the story is going, and who, as before, does not cause any emotions. Well, he is, and if he is removed from the film, I will not notice it. Besides the bad news, there is good news. After all, a really interesting and memorable hero appeared in the picture and this is ... a monkey. No, you didn't, and no, I'm not crazy, except a little bit. So this monkey in terms of intelligence surpasses the main characters at times, and the level of acting and leaves people far behind. In fact, where else have you seen a drug dealer monkey who prefers cigarettes instead of food?
To sum up, I want to say that this is an ordinary sequel to a good comedy about the dangers of excessive alcohol consumption. In principle, there is nothing particularly outstanding in the picture and the number of successful jokes has decreased significantly, but on the other hand, watching this movie does not feel that time wasted. So if you liked the first part or you are looking for a movie for which you just need to kill time in anticipation of an important meeting, you can safely take up watching “Bachelor Party 2”. But if you want something more, watch a comedy with Louis De Funes, Jim Carrey or Andrei Mironov. Good luck.

What about the second part of the film, which at one time became a hit and box office surprise, grossing almost $ 500 million with a budget of $ 35 million? Exactly the same, only increased in progression several times. Inventing a different story than the first part is meaningless, because it was that crazy story that managed to earn so much money. “Earned once – will earn the second,” probably thought the producers of the second part of “Bachelor party” and did not lose, because the second part was able to bring them 100 million more.
The story told to us in "Bachelor Party 2" is an absolute copy of the history of the first part, only in another city, the same specific and with its own characteristics. This time "Wolf pack" goes to Thailand for Stu's wedding, but before that they decide to celebrate his release from single society, and just drink beer on the beach and fry marshmallows at the stake. Wake up in a dirty motel, the friends learn that they are in Bangkok, and somewhere disappeared Teddy the younger brother of the bride Stu. The guys find Teddy’s finger in the room, and that’s when they really don’t want to joke.
Many argue that "Bachelor Party 2" is the best part of this franchise. I disagree here. The film is certainly good, and in almost all but one thing - too obtrusive resemblance to the first "Bachelor party". It is not an exact copy of the first part, but there are too many similar scenes in it. In some places, the feeling of déjà vu even slightly interfered with viewing, the feeling that you are watching "Bachelor party in Vegas", but only behind the actors changed the scenery to another city.
But in this "Bachelor" everything is greatly increased and in large proportions. The plot became more twisted, and the humor became tougher and worse. Of course, the movie is very funny – and that’s the main plus. There is already a difference in face, maybe there are as many funny moments left, but all the humor has been transformed from simple gihaneks to real rust. The authors of the film, apparently, embodied all their dirty fantasies here and abundantly filled the film with frank and undisguised vulgarity. A small Chinese penis and a transsexual who slept with Stu are just the beginning of a list of vulgar topics for similar jokes below the belt. But no matter what the humor, the main thing is that it was funny, and for this the sequel to “Bachelor Party” can not be scolded, it turned out to be very hilarious.
As for the actors, there is almost stability. All remained in their places, in the same images loved by the audience. New characters almost did not appear, and if they appeared, then in almost invisible supporting roles. The only thing I regret is that the project left Heather Graham. I loved her character named Jade from the first part, and I was hoping that Stu would marry her, well, or at least she would also take part in the second part of The Bachelor's Party, but alas.
In general, "Bachelor Party 2: From Vegas to Bangkok" did not become one of my favorite comedies, as its first part, but also made a positive impression, liked and laughed. I think it’s a worthy sequel to “Bachelor Party in Vegas,” but as is often the case, the second part was a little worse than the first. Loved "Wolf pack" in full strength again restores memory, only this time not in Vegas, and in Bangkok. And it is worth a look!
Great comedy. It's one of the best comedies I've seen in my life. I watched all 3 parts of this movie and I liked it the most. The plot is very interesting and unpredictable. There were a lot of funny moments in the film, the humor in this film is very good.
The acting is super. All the actors played at the highest level. It was very interesting to watch everything on the screen. The actors drew the audience with their game. Musical accompaniment is also done to the maximum, the music is selected just fine.
The atmosphere in the film feels very good. The director and the entire crew conveyed the atmosphere to the viewer very well. This movie has everything. Humor here is at the highest level, all jokes are very well perceived and bring to hysterical laughter.
A masterpiece comedy that deserves the attention of the viewer. This is one of those movies that can be watched forever. It's my favorite comedy. This is a great movie that you can watch a good group of friends and be satisfied. I will give him the highest rating.
I love a bachelor party in Vegas. I watched the first part a thousand times, I really like the actors, I like the plot, I like the jokes in the film. This is a light film that can be watched by crunching chips in front of the TV (or monitor).
But the second part made me sad. It seems that all the vulgarity that did not fit into the first part fell into place in the second. I haven't had such a dirty residue in a long time. It seems that after the second part, everyone just relaxed: directors, screenwriters, actors - and gave out a formless lump of feces.
I’m not saying that the views of the city are far from pleasing to the eye, unlike Vegas Magnificent – something yellow, dirty, smelly. PHI.
The only one who never ceased to delight - Zach Galifaniakis. "Health to you, bearded man."
Hangover. Someone will like it, and someone will seem vulgar and stupid, but it was a real, killer comedy, which certainly will not leave anyone indifferent. As for me, I love the first part very much, so I watched the second and third with great desire and interest.
So, in the second part, the culprit of the celebration becomes Stu, who happened to meet the beautiful Lauren. The newlyweds decide to celebrate their wedding in Thailand, in Lauren’s homeland. Stu, of course, invited all his friends, but made it clear that this time there was no bachelor party. My friends think this is a betrayal, how is it? Wedding, no bachelor party. However, none of them even suspect what surprises Thailand has prepared.
The first and third parts are related. Friends have bachelor parties, hangovers, problems. That's the deal. In the second part, everything remains the same. However, the adventures in Thailand are much tougher and more exciting. I don't know. The events in Bangkok are surprising and shocking. I can’t tell you where the story is more interesting. Both there and there turned out to be very exciting and dangerous for each member of the wolf pack, but in general everything is similar. But! However, in the second part I was confused by one point, which is definitely absent in the first part. Now you rarely see an American comedy without a joke. Of course, neither the first, nor the second, nor the third part bypassed this tradition. But the second part has crossed all boundaries. It is tough, but sometimes all this vulgarity seems very appropriate. But I'll stress that sometimes. Still, I'm not very good at comedies that are full of the most vulgar jokes. Although “Bachelor party”, of course, is not included in the list of such comedies, but still sometimes stresses.
The cast is still good. Bradley Cooper remains the same handsome company, Ed Helms brains, and Zach Galifianakis soul and everything else possible. Alan (Zach) is particularly good at this part. He doesn’t feel like anyone, and when he’s invited to the wedding, he’s really happy. Only he didn't think the bride had a brother who would hang out with their wolf pack. It's hard for Alan to accept him and it all looks very funny. He looks so stupid and becomes just sorry, but it's devilishly funny.
Hello, let’s start with interesting facts. Thailand's population of 63 million (c)
In the second part, excellent musical accompaniment. A hit like Kanye West's "Stronger" came very close to the atmosphere of the film and I love the song. But I like it better that for the two parts (I don’t remember the third part) there’s always a Danzig song at the beginning. I've only heard two of their songs, both from "Bachelor Party" - they're amazing! "Black Hell" in the second part is a great start. It creates a good atmosphere to watch.
"Bachelor Party 2" was a very successful sequel. Such a lively continuation of the story is definitely a plus. I loved this movie and would love to watch it a couple more times. But the rating is not the highest, because of the abundance of vulgar jokes and moments.

I'm going to miss you the monkey. I wish you had Skype... Who knows? (c)
Bangkok is a city of contrasts. And very dangerous. I remember this from the mini-series Bangkok Hilton with Nicole Kidman in the title role. It is better not to joke with the Thai authorities. But our fans of extreme sports deftly circumvent the law, so it is comedy to laugh, not scare.
Plot: I personally got caught from the first shot. Here we show the battered heroes, who slapped again, took 2. Everything is so serious that even a wedding after a bachelor party can not think. And it's not a hangover, and hell knows what... And then there is the restoration of the memory of the last night, what they did there. Waking up in the morning, they find a severed finger of Teddy, who mysteriously disappeared himself, an unusual monkey, Alan baldly shaved, and a new groom with a tattoo on his face.
Pluses: Humor was, sometimes even laughed. The drug dealer marmoset struck with his ingenuity. In general, the secondary characters were pleased. Bradley Cooper is damn charming in the image of a tough guy and Chow funny.
Too many vulgar jokes, drugs, booze and illegal business. Hidden propaganda. And the unreality of the plot, although funny

In the company of friends for laughter and fun you can see.
Amazingly, it is this phrase that our three favorite characters never tire of repeating in the sequel to the acclaimed 2009 film. Strangely enough, this phrase, like nothing else, characterizes what is happening in the second picture, the name of which was translated into Russian frankly stupid. Why are we paying our translators money? But back to take two. When watching the film in any episode, you can find an association with the first part, instead of a baby, you have to babysit a monkey, pay the ransom not for a dealer, but for a monk, seeks to marry not a female stripper, with a streptizer it is unclear by whom. In general, the patterns of the first part were on the face, and the end almost completely repeated the above picture.
To say unequivocally that this is a minus of the second part is impossible, after all, the first picture was good, and why not double the pleasure with another, almost the same picture? Change the scenery, a little plot and the viewer gets an extra film, for which he can relax in the evening. The second film is not bad, but the viewer always requires something new, and not everyone likes to watch the same story in other sets with the same climax and ending.
The meaning of the film, as in the first part, is practically absent, which contributes to the genre of these paintings, but nevertheless the main idea of a strong friendship is visible, which we will not see the campaign of the film. Especially “kills” the attitude of everyone and everything to the severed finger of the future surgeon-musician, there was a feeling that the boy is a lizard and he will grow everything back, and many have you seen surgeons without fingers? It is also worth noting that the film became even more vulgar than the already harmless first part.
What's really worth praising is the atmosphere of Bangkok and the well-chosen music. Well, the actors came to this picture from the first part and their charisma did not disappear, but if in the first part they worked hard on their characters and tried to make them different, then in the second part all the boundaries were “washed away”.
In general, the film "Bachelor Party 2" is quite good and it can not be said that it looks difficult, but in fact you expect much more from the film, but after watching this film I do not regret that it was shot, because when a person just wants to see something without any purpose, this film is completely suitable. The only thing I'm going to do is lower one ball by a finger and lower the bar too much.
After the incredible box office success of the first film, the sequel decided not to put off in a long box, and concocted the film in two years. But the viewer, tempted by the first "Bachelor Party", clearly wants something more, something exotic and original. Todd Phillips almost succeeded in doing this: the characters this time are currying in Thailand, which already leaves an imprint on the adventures of the negligent trio; on the other hand, the plot practically did not change - again hangover, again lose someone, again the characters crumbly restore the events of the last night. That is, in terms of the plot, nothing new. Except that Lesley Chao got more screen time, and his character is more positive than in the first part.
In terms of humor, there are also some changes, and not always for the better. I mean, he's still a lot, and he's still funny, but sometimes he's a little too vulgar and sometimes he's a little tough. The first part was better in terms of humor.
I will not retell the script, because it will take a lot of time, and it is better to look and delve into it myself, so I will move on to the description of the acting. Zach Galifianakis is still "dragging." Of all the three, his character is the most crazy. Alan once again becomes a key character, and more than half of the jokes are associated with him. The character of Ed Helms gets the most - not only is it his wedding and he has problems with his father-in-law, but also this stupid tattoo. Also on the psyche Stu, undoubtedly, left an impression of the incident in the strip club. It's hard to get through. Bradley Cooper’s character is the smartest of the three. If Alan is in charge of humor, Phil is in charge of logic. The guy tries to find a way out of any absurd situation that the pack gets into all the time. And while Alan is dumb and Stu is hysterical, it is Phil who retains a sober mind and the ability to reason sanely.
In general, the comedy is not bad, but it is clearly not up to the first film. There’s a lot of humor, a lot of madness, but all this in one form or another was already in the first film. But still worth a look! To learn some interesting facts about Thailand.
For many people who liked the movie “Bachelor party in Vegas”, the sequel was very long-awaited, because four best friends have already managed to fall in love with them. Of course I am on that list. Two years later, Todd Phillips again told the story of the wild and incredible adventures of ordinary guys. But this time the action was transferred to the beautiful exotic country of Thailand, namely Bangkok. In this case, I was not as happy with the picture as I was with the first Hangover. One thing was very embarrassing - as for me, the unpredictability disappeared. In general, by the end of the film, I already knew and understood what the ending would be, but still there were new notes, so the adventures are almost new. Again, I really liked the little song by Ed Helms. It turned out to be just as morose as in the first part, it is definitely a plus. In some cases, it seemed to me that the screenwriters too much with humor, that is, it is sometimes painfully cruel and slightly unpleasant. But, in general, if you discard all the minuses (there are definitely less than the pluses), then the atmosphere of the "Bachelor Party" remained and this is also very pleased. As in the first picture, I liked the musical accompaniment, it still emphasizes her style well.
This picture was very promising, but, unfortunately, it did not meet all expectations and this is a rather sad fact, proving that in most cases sequels are at least slightly worse. As I said, the intrigue of the film has almost disappeared, but the crazy deeds of the main characters have not disappeared and this gives the picture a good dynamism. So again, four friends — Phil (Bradley Cooper), Stu (Ed Helms), Alan (Zach Galifianakis) and Doug (Justin Barta) go to Thailand for the wedding, but this time the wedding of Stu. In addition, Stu’s younger brother Teddy (Mason Lee) goes with them. The guys decide to arrange a bachelor party, but this time very modest and quiet, so as not to repeat the story of two years ago, and ironically, everything does not turn out as it would be desirable. Guys wake up in the morning in some cheap and dirty hotel somewhere in Bangkok. It turns out that this time Teddy disappeared and his friends find themselves in a very, very difficult and at the same time ridiculous situation. Again, the heroes managed to do all sorts of business over the past night, so as the investigation unfolds, they will be incredibly surprised.
Like the previous part, this film does not differ in voluminous timekeeping, again it is chosen very conveniently and this is again only pleasing. The sequel turned out to be just as restless and undelayed. In general, I was pleased that funny and interesting dialogues definitely remained, but it is a pity that not in the same amount. Again, the main “joke” was a short-sighted Alan, who still quite amuses the viewer. Also, it is worth noting that the sequel is quite enough entertainment, dynamics and energy, but this time I can not say that the viewer literally “sticks” to the screen. Again, the morality is as simple and clear as in the first film, so there’s nothing to say. As for the cast, there have been no major changes. Again pleases with his game the most excellent actor Bradley Cooper, the madness of the character of which almost decreased. His character still remained the brightest for me. Ed Helms again performed his role very sincerely and extremely emotionally. All the same morose and funny remained Zach Galifianakis. Comedy is definitely his genre. Again, it is not particularly possible to single out Justin Bart, because he was again given a small segment of screen time, so there is nothing to say. In addition, it was nice to see Paul Giamatti.
"Bachelor party 2: From Vegas to Bangkok" or "Hangover: Part II" - a pretty good comedy, clearly inferior to the first picture, with the same good cast, fairly predictable plot and definitely good humor.
I can say that the second part was more colorful than the first. That's weird. No matter how many movies you take, the first ones are always better. But in the case of the "Bachelor Party," it's different. I can note that in all (now already 3) parts Doug does not play a special role, but still remains in the “wolf pack”. And it is so nice to know that even with such an expressionless and modest role, he still deserved a good attitude.
I'll focus on Bradley Cooper again. After all, in the second part, he remains the same Phil, who comes up with a plan of action and solves the problem, but of course not without the help of his faithful comrades Stu and Alan.
Bachelor party 2: From Vegas to Bangkok is the most incredible, crazy and crazy adventure in the trilogy. This is obvious, because in the first part the guys finally tried what real Vegas is, and in the third they did not plan any enchanting bachelor party, in the second of course, too, but nevertheless it happened.
This is where Stu gets married. Habitual to us, cautious, does not like party parties, reasonable and a little vulnerable. However, at the end of the film, he proves to everyone that he can stand up for himself and get out of any, even the most difficult situation. Lauren’s brother Teddy, the same one who is studying to be a doctor and is still so young, also tastes Bangkok, not in full force of course, but partly precisely, because after everything that happened, he was left without a finger at all.
Alan. It’s always good, whether it’s the first or second part. He's a little weird, but that's the thing. His love for Phil is not exhausted. He literally waited for the guys to come to him and invite him to the wedding, it seemed to him that it was only possible and it turned out that no.
This is the first time we see Mr. Chao in a full role. Of course, as in any American comedy, there was not without alcohol, drugs and other things, but this only adds points to the assessment of the film, because without any, even the smallest part of this film, it will become not the usual Second Bachelor Party.
I liked the film without exception. This is a comedy for many times, for all times.

“Bachelor Party 2: From Vegas to Bangkok” is a very good, but still not the best sequel to the successful 2009 comedy. The most important disadvantage of the second “Bachelor party” is that in addition to changing the scene of what is happening, almost nothing new in this tape has not appeared.
This time, the same three friends and the same inadequate type go to a bachelor party again, but this time to Bangkok. Again, after a stormy night, their memory is denied them and again in the morning they miss one person. Strangely enough, Phil, Stu and Alan once again go to the places of their former glory to remember everything and find their friend.
In general, it all looks just as fun and, despite everything, interesting. The new terrain added a few reasons for jokes, which, incidentally, were just as funny. While some of them may not have been a bachelor party, they were fun.
Again, I enjoyed the soundtrack of the film. As in the first part, only the best tracks were selected here. Among the many tracks from Kanye West - "Stronger" and "Monster", which sounded really timely.
As for the cast, there is nothing to say, since all the beloved faces returned to their characters.
Bradley Cooper and Zach Galifianakis as Phil and Alan respectively, again showed class. Without exaggeration, we can say that these are the two most striking characters of any part of the “Bachelor Party”.
In the end, I can say that “Bachelor party 2: From Vegas to Bangkok” can be considered quite a decent sequel, which was able to have a good fun as the first part.
It happens that you are waiting with fear. You already know the heroes, the director is great. And the first movie was just crazy. And now the second movie comes out. How different is it from the first? And will he be good? Although, you know, such experiences are still more suitable for the third (and subsequent parts), as well as for paintings based on books.
And the second film is perceived calmly (again, if it is not a literary saga). There's a place to turn. The creators are not bound by a rigid framework. Yeah, same heroes. But someone can be removed. Someone else, on the contrary. So it is the second tape of the franchise that can be decisive for the development of the franchise. Look at "Double Fast and Furious." Although he's a little out of touch with the first movie, he's raised more money. And the third ribbon generally turned towards sunrise. To then, along with the smell of burnt rubber, on the Charger, drive back to 1327.
I have not forgotten the last words of the first tape. So, "Hangover." This is the correct translation of the film title. Unexpectedly? I don't think so. Anyone who knows English knows that. Who didn't, found out now. And all the movies are about hangovers. There's a bachelor party, though. What about the third part? I don't know until I looked. There are only hours left before I do that. But it should be noted that with the first two tapes, our localizers did not miss much. Meaning conveyed. In general. Yes...
"Genius works." This is what it says on Alan's room door. And the ominous word "dangerous" before that. Well, in a way, this inscription reflects Alan. It just reveals its essence, if you think about it. However, he created the Wolf Pack. And Phil and Stu, willy or not, are members of this secret organization. Zach Galifianakis is great. In fact, he made sacrifices. Stu is back in his style. So is Ed Helms, actually. What about Phil? Apart from being shot, he's fine as always. Isn't it Mr. Cooper?
As always, the soundtrack is fine too. I’m not sure where the most hits were. But I heard something familiar. Very much. Maybe there was something in the first part. Stu cannot help but delight the viewer with his ballad. So truthful that West Coast hard rap just seems like childish rhymes. How else would you like to see all this?!
I'm looking forward to the third movie. Actually, he's already here. So there's little left. Yes! Once again, I was convinced, after watching two “Bachelors” (bachelors, hangovers, everything is the same, if you think about it and do not take into account the “real” bachelor party that Stu arranged for the guys), that you need to wait before forming your opinion about the film. A few days ago, I didn’t care about those movies. Yeah, I'll see. And now I think they are really great.
As I said at the beginning, the second film is full of discoveries. That's what happened. Aside from the familiar, there is Bangkok, which eats everyone with all their dope. What did Mr. Chow say on his tour of this beautiful city? These are cats, these are cocks. Yes, that's how Bangkok can be. One or three. No need to be outraged or surprised. Not ready for this - get the fuck out of town.
"Phil, put the prescription forms in place."

P.S. So that's what I wanted to say specifically. The heroes were almost indifferent to me. I didn't get into their lives. I just enjoyed great movies. But in the middle of watching this movie, something happened. And I realized that Phil, Stu and Alan are really cool heroes. And I like them. Even Alan. Or is it Galifianakis? Or Ethan Drulei?
What am I talking about again? What nonsense? Before viewing my opinion on the third film, go to the page of the short film The Unauthorized Documentary, Hangover Part II. Please be careful!
Continue about the walk of four friends who simply can not without adventure.
- Phil ...
- Tracy, I'm so sorry...
- Where are you going?
- That's take two.
- Just not that.
- We're all really screwed up!
- Why are you such an idiot?!
The action of the second part takes place two years after the trip to Vegas. This time, Stu is getting married. He persuades the other three to fly to his wedding, hinting that there will be no bachelor party in sight, since he is much more important than the relationship with his girlfriend. Now the friends must fly to the heart of Thailand Bangkok, where the wedding should take place.
Staying at the airport, the guys meet the younger brother of the bride - 16-year-old Teddy. After that, the friends almost immediately fly to Bangkok. There they meet the whole family of the bride. Mostly with his father, who clearly dislikes Stu.
In the evening of the same day, the guys are going for a walk. Taking Teddy with them, they are located on the seashore to condemn the current affairs over a bottle of beer. Waking up the next day in some musty hotel, the guys find that again a great drunk, and now are in a terrible hangover and do not remember anything.
They have to restore the chronology of the events of the last night. Remember what they did and how far they went on their new adventure.

The sequel was not worse, and even, perhaps, a little better than the first part, but only at the first viewing. The excitement that was in the cinema, unfortunately, is absent during the revision of the house.
The explanation is very simple - the main plus of the second part in unexpected moments. Not only is she witty, she's also shocking in places. Firstly, almost porn in the frame, and secondly, unexpected plot twists.
The only drawback I consider a large number of repetitions, as it were shot the same, but only with other scenery. This redeems a lot of funny little things that the plot saves: memories with children, monkey, tattoo, beautiful views, monks, bald Zac ...
All this against the background of Asian exoticism, which pleasantly dilutes American humor. Separately, I want to note only two elements: the appearance of Tyson – it was brilliant and the photos at the end, which have already become a signature feature of the series. They are the ones who distinguish the film from the mass.

P.S. I can’t say that dubbing is bad, but this film is still worth watching in the translation of Dmitry Puchkov.
It would seem that it was possible to come up with even more madness than we were shown in the first part of “Bachelor Party”? Turns out you can. The second part will please you with situations delightfully large-scale and uncouth.
This time Stu is going to get married, and not somewhere, but in Thailand. Taught by previous bitter experience, a prudent and cautious groom pinches a bachelor party, but he, by a strange coincidence, still happens. The other three woke up in Bangkok this morning. And again lost a man, this time, thank God, it's not Doug, and the minor brother of the bride. Stu, Alan and Phil are again waiting for adventure and painful memories of the last night.
If in the first part of the situation were tough and detachable, then in this one - just sick and frostbitten. And I fucking liked that! Despite the identity of the storyline with the exception of the change of location and some details, the movie turned out to be no less interesting and funny.
Stew: Oh, my God. We stole a monk.
Alan: "This is our way of life."
This time, Bradley Cooper took a bit of a back seat. Only Alan’s stupidity and Stu’s eternal tantrums cause sincere laughter. What a monkey, of course. The new adventure is also a test of friendship for all three. Male friendship is a separate story. As well as male logic, as well as male arguments and actions.
You are a bearded devil!
- You liked it, you smiled when I gave you a bag of marshmallows!
- Because I love marshmallows, you fucking psychopath!
It is still bright and spectacular, the music is great! The atmosphere of separation keeps at the screen throughout the film. Unreal madness, out-of-frame jokes, plot intrigue and quality of shooting make this film a great continuation of the first part and a great comedy to watch with friends. If you like that kind of humor.

"Sorry, the heat is at forty, no plans, but bought Alan a Panama!!!"
In short, the same three - Alan, Phil and Stu. Again bachelor party, entertainment, and the next morning a complete lack of memory about the last night. Again, Doug misses all the fun, poor guy. A broken tooth is replaced with a tattoo. Tiger to monkey. Instead of Doug, we lose Teddy. And new adventures, laughter, chases, searches are ready. Oh, and Mr. Chao, who also adds a lot of laughter and casual situations. Alan's going off again, and he makes us have fun again. Nice kid.
How did this monkey get with us yesterday?
- I came here for coke, Alan liked her and we stole her.
It’s a great sound, which is worth my favorite song Kanye West – Stronger, and the rest are just as good. A spectacular return home and at the end we are again waiting for a fascinating photo shoot, thanks to which we learn what happened at night. Actors Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis are already like relatives, amazing in this comedy, this is absolutely their movie. I’m looking forward to 3 parts.
Definitely, in comparison with the first part of the film looks a little weaker, but still something catchy. At least the same heroes in the same stupid situation. “Bachelor Party 2” doesn’t look like a sequel. In the sense that it can be seen as a separate film and a separate story. But it's another time. Because as a sequel, the film was perfectly realized.
In general, the creators turned out a kind of rebuke of the first film. They took as a basis the plot of the prequel, returned the old characters and threw them in another city. But it is a good thing that along with the scene, the stylization of the film has changed. The most striking manifestation of this is the choice of the city for filming. Bangkok at first glance seems to be harmless Vegas, but it is only "at first glance". Although, perhaps, the matter here in the main characters, who eventually squandered all the remaining complexes, which initially the cat cried and began to spoil foreign culture in all possible ways.
The actors here are still on top, especially tried Zach Galifianakis. And of course, the writers gave us a very extravagant plot, which is not inferior to the plot of the prequel. It’s nice to see that the main characters are still a team, a pack. The only downside to the film is humor. He became openly vulgar and completely inappropriate. I understand that it fits into the framework of comedy, but “Bachelor Party 2” is not quite a comedy, because the writers present very unexpected surprises and create some tension, as in the first part. So stupid vulgar jokes that skip here every minute of honor to the film do not do, but only spoil the overall impression.
Bottom line: “Bachelor party 2” turned out a little worse than the prequel, but still looks quite decent. Comedy still holds the bar and remains level. Although over time, the creators of the picture began to use frankly vulgar humor, this can be forgiven, because the plot and actors this minus was adequately hushed up.
I really liked the 2009 movie “Bachelor Party in Vegas.” This really funny, interesting, original comedy. And of course I was looking forward to the second part. It turned out worse than the first part, because of its main disadvantage.
The downside of “Bachelor Party 2: From Vegas to Bangkok” is the plot. Stu is flying to Thailand to celebrate his wedding. Along with him fly Alan, Phil, Doug and the brother of the bride Stu, Teddy. They want to spend the bachelor party calmly and peacefully, but they failed. In the morning, they woke up in a house, and Teddy disappeared, and the guys do not remember anything. And then what happens in the first part. The viewer who saw the first movie knows what will happen next. “Bachelor party in Vegas 2” directly copies what was in the first “boy party”. It's very bad. Somewhere in the middle, I just want to stop watching. It seems that the writers just took the plot of the first part, and moved the action to Bangkok. There are no plot twists and interesting moments in the film. In terms of the plot, everything is very boring and drawn out.
Acting also leaves much to be desired. From the entire cast I can single out Zach Galifianakis. He played very well in the first part. I also liked Ken Jong and Mason Lee.
My review would be negative if it weren't for the humor. Humor makes you watch the movie to the end. There's a lot of jokes in the picture. Heroes constantly joke and make the audience laugh. And even though jokes are unrealistically vulgar, they are still very funny. Also in the film there are a couple of funny situations in which the main characters fall.
In the end, I will say that the picture is definitely weaker than the first part. There is nothing new or original in the second film. But because the picture is very funny, it is worth seeing once.

The film “Bachelor party in Vegas” at one time made a splash in the world box office, collecting a very modest budget and adult rating of about half a billion dollars. I must say, the success of this tape really deserved. Because and a little hurtful that the creators of the sequel "Bachelor 2: From Vegas to Bangkok" too close to heart took Hollywood laws about sequels, especially the first part of the sentence: "All the same, only twice as much."
Heroes of the previous part: Phil, Stu, Alan and Doug are again preparing for the wedding. This time, Stu decided to tie the knot. Not anywhere, but in Thailand itself. But in order not to repeat their epic adventures in Las Vegas, the friends decide to sit quietly by the fire, with a bottle of beer, taking with him the underage brother of the bride. Suddenly, the next day, everything they were so wary of comes to life: the tattoo on Stu’s face, Alan’s completely shaved head, the bride’s staggering brother, and the complete absence of memories of the events of the previous night. To find the lost boy, friends will again need to go through fire, water and a severe headache.
The continuation of one of the brightest comedies of recent years turned out to be quite controversial. On the one hand, there are just hilariously funny episodes and some intrigue, and on the other, too strong bias towards vulgar and low-grade humor. It is clear that in such films it was hardly possible to do without him, but the main thing is to know the measure in such jokes. Unfortunately, in some moments, this very sense of proportion to the screenwriters simply changed: scenes with a demonstration of male genitalia became somehow obscenely much.
But perhaps the most important miscalculation of the sequel is a very small number of new ideas and an almost complete copy of the plot plot of the original almost by episodes. The story in the first film was quite complete and did not require continuation, but its concept and manner of presentation would be quite suitable for the sequel, if it had more of its twists and new characters. Personality, to put it simply.
Oh, what an individuality. At some points, it even begins to seem that this is not a continuation at all, but some kind of remake: so instead of the bridegroom, the brother of the bride disappears, Las Vegas is replaced by Bangkok, and the mad Chinese this time jumps out with his kung fu techniques not from the trunk of the car, but from the freezer. And similar déjà vu in the film very much, and really new ideas and episodes, as mentioned above, the tape is not so much.
The new tape can not oppose anything to the original and in terms of colorful characters. New faces performed by Paul Giamatti and Nick Cassavetes turned out to be much weaker than the same Chinese and Mike Tyson. Acclaimed even before the release of the film in the rental scene in the tattoo salon (due to the fact that it was supposed to play that Mel Gibson, then Liam Neeson) in the end was very passable and not memorable.
In fact, of the really new and inventive episodes, it is possible to note here only the incitement of local residents to revolt against the regime, filmed on a mobile camera and almost all the scenes with a monkey-drug dealer, whose agility can be envied by any drug dealer. Well, the beating of the main characters by a monk for breaking the silence can also be called quite a funny episode. There would have been more scenes like this in the picture - there would have been no price for it.
From all the above, the reader may have the opinion that the film is almost a complete failure. That's certainly not true. Yes, the secondary nature of the plot sometimes goes off the scale, but all the same remade episodes from the original are quite capable of laughing not the picky viewer, albeit not as much as before (the original, still out of competition).
Nothing bad can be said about the actors, who are undoubtedly the decoration of this comedy franchise. Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Zach Galifianakis played well together. They just fused with their images and each brought something special to their character, which made them so charismatic. It could be noted and Justin Bartu, but, unfortunately, it is too little here and the heroes of Cooper, Helms and Galifianakis came to the fore.
"Bachelor Party 2: From Vegas to Bangkok" is generally a good one-view comedy. Not great as the first part, but not exactly disgusting. It's just not bad, as they say - I've looked and I don't regret it, but I won't review it. For sure, most fans of the first part of this tape will have to taste, after all, no matter how much was said about the secondary, it will not upset everyone (many on the contrary will be glad that the creators did not change anything). But the fact remains that the second part of the “Bachelor Party” is a trampling in place, or even a step back for the franchise. And if in the sequel to self-copying, the viewer can still accept and remain completely satisfied with what he saw, then the director will have to change something radically by the third part.
7 out of 10
Despite its controversy, I really liked the first “Bachelor Party” as a comedy. It was a vivid example of a dynamic film with not the most intellectual humor, which allows you to relax and spend some time laughing at the main characters and their failures.
Of course, the second part immediately expected something at least identical, and ideally even better. The annotation was also enticing - Thailand with its "specificity" is very suitable for the scene of such paintings. However, the second part came out, albeit light, but quite smooth practically without explosive moments that you want to review and show your friends.
First of all, the plot turned out to be much less dynamic and cool than it was in the first part. Again, the dialogue this time was much less “hot”.
However, indiscriminately scold the film does not want and will not work, because it is still funny, it is still light, it is simply not to blame that it was worse than its predecessor.
If you still highlight the positive moments of the second “Bachelor party”, then it is impossible not to note the magnificent Galifanakis, which played perfectly. No worse was Ken Zhong and, of course, the monkey. Against their background, Cooper and Helms somehow even lost both in charisma and in the game itself, voluntarily or not receding into the background (although Helms kind of needs to be the main character).
Honestly, I don’t know what the creators will invent in the third part of the film. All I know is that I will be waiting for her and expecting something in the best traditions of American comedy humor.
