Non-Indian India As the color of my review tells you, I have a positive impression of the film. He really touched the feelings. And this is a topical topic for India itself: the wrong pattern of Muslims as terrorists, interfaith relations within India, obstacles during the marriage of one ethnic group, different lifestyles of citizens of one country, abandoned and overgrown with moss and moss, Hindu inactive temples turned into dirty catacombs from the inside (which somehow forms the Indian mentality), which residents remembered when they wanted “bread and circuses”, proudly proclaiming “Our historical monuments want to destroy terrorists – we will destroy (unarmed) terrorists (determined by religion and religion) in the twenty-years, educate the young boys”. At the same time, a real show with songs, dances, stupid heralds and journalists unfolds.
Even when the film, at times, flashes moments typical of Indian cinema, it eventually generates a good result and affects a person, although it greatly delays the storyline.
The main character, Anwar, fascinates. Pleasant appearance, neat appearance, kindness and high morality through the prism of piety (an edification for many Indians) - this is its main component, and it fell to his lot cruel, fateful injustice.
Very touching is traced the love line – a beautiful video for the soundtrack “Maula mere Maula” demonstrates the pure relationship of the couple, the good intentions of the guy and the sincerity of his feelings. And it's all conveyed so unorthodoxly! Drowning in love, Anwar’s look enchants, once he looks at his beloved Mehra.
However, the girl realizes that she can not be in this country and dreams of fleeing to the countries of Europe, which, in her opinion, are ideal for her to live. Mehra takes a desperate step and runs with his friend Anwar, leaving his mother alone. The good heart of Anwar can not withstand the suffering of the neighbor and ... Mehra and the guy are disembarked from the bus, which has not yet managed to cross the border. Here you can not shift all the blame on the artist Anwar and accuse of snitching, because he (despite the betrayal of a friend who stole his girlfriend) warned him about the possible deplorable consequences of the death of the couple.
Still, Anwar hoped for a better outcome...
His suffering and subsequent severe depression did not last long. Anwar is killed on the soundtrack of "Tose Naina Laage". In general, talking about soundtracks - precrancing the selection, melodic, and armed with the translation of songs, I want to melt in this monastery, dissolve.
The ending of the film also includes a religious component, which, on the one hand, needs to be interpreted (I am not an expert in the philosophy of Buddhism and Hinduism, so I can not explain anything), and on the other hand, everything becomes clear on the sensual level, and this understanding is stored inside the person, remaining inexplicable. Feeling such sensations, tears from the overflow of new (at least for non-Indians) indescribable sensations appear before our eyes.
When viewing this picture, you will also see a lot of beautiful shots: the architecture of Indian temples, dried spices, ethnic accessories, a harmonious combination of rainbow colors of monochrome and polychrome fabrics, both with and without Indian patterns, and other attributes characteristic of this unique country.
