Justice League (2001 – 2006) is the best superhero animated series. In this animated series, there are many battles of incredible magnitude. In addition to the famous superheroes in this series you can meet many little-known characters DS comics. For example, a team of superheroes of the Wild West: Jonah Hex, El Diablo (he is very similar to Zorro), Bat Lash. Or a wonderful duet of two superheroes Question and Huntress. Watching this epic series, along with Batman and Green Lantern, you will witness the birth of the DC universe as it was created. I also enjoyed time travel, parallel worlds, and other dimensions. In the animated series "Justice League" even has an interesting mythology of the Greek Gods, which organically fits into the origin story of Wonder Woman. The creators of this animated series were not afraid to introduce elements of a political thriller closer to the 3rd and 4th seasons, which made the series even more interesting.
"DC. All & nbsp;Inclusive" or "Almanac by DC superheroes
Justice League (TV Series)" is definitely one of, if not the best guides to the DC Universe. Well-drawn, beautifully and brightly presented, attracting with its simplicity and accessibility of the narrative, stands out against the background of classmates in the workshop. I intend to praise and praise this work, but I will start with a little nitpicking. By the way, this review applies exclusively to the pilot season.
In such a large-scale story, I want to see more "savings of the world." Let me explain. We are shown a series / series of series about the appearance of a hero, when suddenly later we already see a completely detached, unrelated series about an unknown planet, which, well, does not affect the overall plot. That is, the personal stories of the main characters are poorly disclosed, and some do not at all, and the main storyline and what it will lead to is absent at all. It would be more logical for many if the first season was dedicated exclusively to the protagonists / antagonists we love, and the subsequent ones were already talking about the universe in which the action takes place. And so it seems that all his ideas the director wanted to embody in one season, so it turned out such a confused narrative.
However, if you watch the series solely for entertainment, then everything is really cool. The characters are great and there are many. Everyone has their own character, attitude to the common cause and to others.
On the general background stands out very much Wonder Woman, which has an interesting history and charisma overshadowing everyone around.
Also pleased a couple: The Flash, which is here Wally West (who is watching a TV series with Barry Allen will be interested) and Green Lantern, presented by John Stewart, an African-American marine (even if anyone is interested in this pesonage?). The Flash is an object for entertaining viewers against the background of sullen, "adult" superheroes, as well as contrasting the judicious The Lantern. Together they solve almost impossible tasks, but at the same time constantly compete and erring over each other.
About Eagle I knew almost nothing and did not know much even now, except for obvious mutual sympathy with Green Lantern.
J'onn J'onzz - an alien with a tragic story similar to Superman, as well as another "last" survivor on his home planet.
And finally, on the one hand pleased, on the other there is no fact that Soup and Bats as it were left in the background, saying "they are the most famous superheroes of DC and you all know about them, so they will be few."
I haven’t read 5 billion comics, so I don’t understand why J’onn and Green Lantern are blue (or light blue)?
I encourage everyone to see this creation. Next seasons will be no less interesting and generally magnificent. At the end of the review, if any of the seasons is very interested, then I will definitely write a review.
Dan Riba, Butch Lukic, Joaquim Dos Santos, what are these names remarkable? At the beginning of the two thousandth, they were the directors of Justice League, which can rightly be considered the most successful project after the animated series about Batman. How can Justice League attract its inquisitive viewer? Everything in order. The Justice League is a team of superheroes who fight for a common goal: to save the world. A team with superpowers is almost perfect for that. At the same time, members of the Justice League are not just heroes in tights. Throughout the series, each character and his characteristics are carefully revealed. In many ways, this action is facilitated by primary sources, namely comics, to which the creators treated with due respect and tried to act according to the canon, and it turned out to be very qualitative. For many years, “Justice League” is not just a good, but a great animated series, the creators of which did not set out to create something better than the Batman adventure of the 90s, no, they just made something new, a kind of gift for DC fans, and just ordinary fans of superheroes.
Well, dear fans of comics and their animated adaptations, let’s talk about each character individually, if you are not familiar with this universe. Since the main actions of the tape unfold in Metropolis, then, of course, without Superman can not do. In almost every episode of Clark Kent, you’ll be able to see him wearing a cloak and his trademark, which we people call “S” – Superman. In this project, it cannot be argued that Superman has no other weaknesses than Kryptonite, on the contrary, the Justice League struggles with such forces that even the ability to fly and let laser beams out of his eyes does not help, and the formidable Superman will need help more than once. A miracle woman, Diana, will not spoil, but her appearance in the League can be called accidental, she simply escaped from her native island of Themyscria, fled to be near people in difficult times, to be useful for the sake of peace, and it is the League that helps her in this. Like the rest of the characters, Diana has its own story arcs in certain series, which are somehow associated with the fascinating course of events that will unfold in twenty minutes of screen time. Oh! There is another female character, namely the brave Eagle. Unlike Diana, her character is a little more relaxed and reckless, but her ability to wield a club and superhuman strength more than once help the team to get out of difficult situations.

The Green Lantern, the irreplaceable Green Lantern, might have been an ordinary person who had nothing to do with the League, but it so happened that this hero has a ring whose alien power serves in the hands of a brave man for the good. Aliens? The team has one alien - Martian Joe, familiarization with which begins with the first series and eventually he becomes a member of the squad. Joe is a brave and strong hero who can not lose his common sense in the most dangerous situations. The Flash is the fastest person on Earth, the whole significant part of the humorous component of the series is based on the jokes of Barry Allen, plus the Flash, the real Casanova, is always looking for acquaintances with ladies, not always successfully, and if we are honest, then never. And finally, Batman, a hero who needs no introduction and meticulous description. “James Bond Superheroes” though does not consider himself a full member of the team, but even without superpower, more than once pulls the team out of trouble. This is the Justice League.
Of course, for five seasons it would be boring if each episode had the same characters and in addition to the Justice League, you will get acquainted with other characters. It can be considered that they are a kind of “guest star”, which serves as a “candle” for the “superhero cake”. The stories of these “guest star” not only perfectly complement the main storyline, but also interweave the main narrative of the series with other heroes of the DC Universe, which is good. The disadvantages of the series include some plot naivety of the creators, when this or that decision, and possibly a coincidence of circumstances, is in the hands of only the Justice League, but there are very few such episodes and you can safely close your eyes to this. In a significant proportion of the series, everything is based on the strength and mind of every Ligchan, um, Ligchanin, not bad, let's call them that. Well, the minuses, the above-mentioned accidents and the naivety of the plots do not spoil the story, everything is compensated by the advantages, of which there are many. The pluses include excellent drawing and dynamic animation, even now everything looks quite high-quality and perfectly worked out.
And finally, the villains. There are a lot of them in the animated tape and you will not be bored. Certain series will please familiar villains, such as the Joker and Luthor Lex, which will perfectly play on the feelings of nostalgia, as well as the creators were not lazy to come up with new bugs, many of them even individually can compete with the League, and this adds interest. So, dear viewer, is it worth watching Justice League? Definitely worth it, because the members of the Justice League fight for good, peace and justice.
“Justice League” is the first fully watched animated series about superheroes, and I can say that after it I really wanted to plunge into the world of cartoons. After all, it is in cartoons that people working in the field of cinema are not so much connected when realizing their fantasies as in cinema (although every year the visual components of films are becoming more realistic and global). Why did I talk about restrictions? Yes, because when swinging to prepare a cocktail of so many superheroes, the creators must be ready to provide the viewer with the strength of these heroes in their full beauty.
The animated series cannot be described by one genre of cinema, nor can it be attributed to any age segment. The age rating of the series is set as 12+, which is very justified by its content. A lot of people think Justice League is a cartoon for kids, but they’re wrong. In many series there are topics that are more related to adults than to children (for example, betrayal, self-sacrifice), but mostly more general, but not unimportant motives are involved, such as sincere friendship, support for a friend in a difficult situation and others.
The plot of the animated series is very exciting with a distinctive feature of the first seasons - stretching one line into 2 or 3 episodes, which made you languish in anticipation of the denouement. However, the series cannot be called a single whole, since the first two seasons are the beginning of the Justice League, and its subsequent heyday and transformation into something more than just a group of superheroes on the guard of order; even on the screensaver itself it is written Justice League: Without Borders. The first stage of the Justice League is the best for me, because it’s a pleasure to spend time in the company of this entertaining bunch of heroes and experience unforgettable adventures with them. Of course, there were a lot of moments when writers deliberately underestimated the abilities of superheroes, adjusting them to the plot, which was a little annoying, but still watching the subsequent events was very interesting. In the second phase of the series, there were a huge number of superheroes (as well as supervillains) that I knew, but there were also completely unfamiliar guys. I was upset that many episodes were without the participation of the whole familiar bunch of heroes, but still, if you want to focus on one of the characters, you should watch his or her own TV series or films.
About the actors of the original voice acting, I want to say a few words, as they perfectly coped with the assigned role. I am familiar with the robots of Kevin Conroy, who, after I played a series of games about Batman, is no alternative to him now, as well as his partner in games and on the TV series Mark Hamill, who is for me the best voice of the Joker. These two voice masters literally brought their characters to life and made watching more enjoyable. I also want to mention the role of Clancy Brown, who voiced Lex Luthor. In the series, Luthor appears very often and, frankly, now the voice of Clancy Brown will also become associated with Lex. I will say that all the actors played their characters in full force, and I am very grateful for their work.
After that, let’s go back to the quote above. The words of Green Arrow perfectly reflect the state of this animated series. The last 3 seasons I liked less than the original ones, and sometimes when watching the new series I thought that there would be no more coolness and the series lost its charm, but then there were new unexpected plot twists that again revived the unforgettable feelings that I felt when watching the first seasons. So I’m both happy and saddened that there were only 5 seasons: I’m glad I didn’t go to the banal smearing of the plot to increase the number of episodes, but saddened that I won’t see this wonderful series again.
In January 2014, I watched the animated series Superman and Batman, which I saw as a child only excerpts on CTC, and was pleasantly surprised because they were head overhead above the Marvel crafts I watched in the same childhood. Taking a short break, because two animated series in two weeks was too much, I began to watch Justice League, expecting the same level. It turned out to be in vain.
Let me be clear: drawing and animation could be better in 2 times. They are almost the same as in STAS and TNBA. No revolution or change. No, I like this style, but we could have improved the 21st century. All the male characters look like monotonous broad-shouldered athletes, and the Batman costume (my imho) is severely disfigured. In short, primitive. Characters of the log.
The first three episodes tell about an alien attack and this is the fierce copypaste of Wells’ War of the Worlds: invulnerable tripods that arrived on Earth with the help of meteor showers, and begin to sweep everything around. On this occasion, a variety of superhero characters from all sides of the World run away (the funny thing, by the way, is that super-soldiers-aliens constantly mow at our heroes, although they shoot from very high-tech cannons) - Wonder Woman from the realm of the gods (again my imho, but this beauty should have been sent to the dump 30 years ago, because it looks ridiculous and banal in our time), Green Lantern (who... was black, although in Superman was white) The Flash, who can be very interesting here, of course, but the character became very high, along with the beamman, and the beamman, who was very interesting here, of course, but he was very fast. In principle, the characters are not far from their prototypes from the comics, because all the characters of the D.C. comic, except for everyone’s favorite Batman, on which the D.C. office always held and will hold, is a boring labuda pumped with abilities. What is not a character, the invulnerable Superman, flying faster than the speed of light and lifting far beyond a hundred tons. It is good that their strength was significantly reduced in the animated series. By the way, the story with Superman himself is not quite clear: “STAS” ended with Darkseid brainwashed him and forced him to go against humanity, which radically changed the attitude of earthlings to him (but of course he was able to throw all this out of his head and bum Darkseid), and here everyone again adores Superman, as if nothing ever happened.
The first two seasons, consisting of a good 52 episodes, a fierce dullness, diluted with childish naivety and blunders, silly action scenes and sometimes outright nonsense. A series where, for example, Superman kills Toyman (by the way, a completely idiotic moment, because the Flash was nearby, who could save the situation, and Green Lantern apparently decided to take a smoke break), but he finds himself somewhere in the distant future, or where the members of the League, having destroyed a huge robot, found themselves in... the reality of a comic book of the fifties. To be fair, the last three seasons of thirty-plus episodes have been noticeably better, but that’s far from the level of Superman and Batman.
I also did not like the love pair “Green Lantern and Eagle”. Well, just a white girl kissing a black man in a cartoon that's a priori for white kids is gross. In "STAS" and "BTAS" all the characters were white, and it pleased the eye. I can’t help but mention the terrible Russian dubbing of the first two seasons (the other three were voiced by amateurs). I don’t really like the dubbing of Batman (but Oleg Kutsenko, who, thanks to Prezens, voices Batman here, is great), but the Russian dubbing of Superman, made by the guys from St. Petersburg by order of STS, is wonderful. And here it feels as if all sorts of talents were specially selected; the voices of the Martian Hunter, Superman and all female characters are terrible (but the terrible voices of the female characters only in the first season, in the second all female characters were voiced again by Tatiana Bozhok, and she has a quite pleasant voice), and all the oh-ahs and grunting are voiced. I wonder why then our actors of dubbing do not voice the sounds of blows and explosions?
5 out of 10
One of the best animated series based on DC comics
In 2001, the animated series 'Justice League' and immediately became popular, which came out as many as five seasons. What did I like about him?
Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, Flash, Martian Hunter, Eagle teamed up in the face of an alien threat and began to protect the world together. Each of them is a personality, each has its own character. With the beginning of the third season, the League was replenished with new heroes. Most of all remembered Vigelenti, Shining Knight, Question, Captain Atom, Hunter, Green Arrow, Black Canary, Atom is especially remembered Wild Cat. In the first episode of the fourth season, Wild Cat is involved in underground fights due to the fact that he has no superpowers and has no weight in the League. This series makes it clear that superheroes are human, and each has its own problems.
The villains here are beautiful too. Especially remembered Lex Luthor, Vandal Savage, Joker, Gorilla Grodd, Darkseid.
I noticed that at the end of each season there are such epic battles that sometimes you start to wonder: will there be a happy ending?
Bottom line: The animated series is very wonderful. You have to watch.
I remember this cartoon interested me when I was 7 years old. He went to lunch on STS in 2002-2003. Over time, he was forgotten, interests changed. But suddenly something stirred in my memory, and I wanted to remember what I loved so much as a child.
I got all the seasons and sat down to watch. Bottom line: 3 weeks passed for me unnoticed, as I was absorbed in watching. And if before I was interested in the cartoon and bright colors, now I can talk about the meaning and serious things. I don’t like to watch light movies at all and I’m always looking for a hidden meaning or idea. In this, at first glance, a children's cartoon it is.
Justice League really teaches you to fight for ideals that you believe in and don’t harm the world around you. It teaches us to value friendship, respect our elders, love our neighbors, and sometimes show condescension to our enemies.
Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, The Flash, Eagle, J'onn J'onzz - they are an example of high moral behavior, but not invented, but one that really can meet in reality.
The stories and plot (if you forget about the unreality of the existence of superhumans and aliens) are quite realistic. Friendship, betrayal, risk-taking, self-sacrifice - this is our life! Love, separation, loss – all this every day with us!
Members of the Justice League fought enemies; even themselves; quarreled; reconciled; and again, with their backs, defended the world and each other. They brought me to tears when the villains became good.
In no case can you think that they are presented completely perfect - this is sometimes sickening to look at. Superheroes themselves betrayed, torn between feelings and duty, made difficult choices and, balancing on the verge of life and death, continued to help and perform feats in the name of good.
Some famous names are Superman and Batman. Two competitors, two opposites. But they proved to the whole world that they can exist together, and even, hiding it, experience and be equal to each other.
Animation is the highest ball. The idea of the plot is similar. The voices, whether voiced or duplicated in the Russian translation - everything is excellent.
The world needs heroes! Because the world must believe in something good! This is the best movie to prove it.
