Giant Muay Thai Two-meter big guy Barney (former wrestler Nathan Jones) is an Australian tourist in Thailand, left without a passport and money after a robbery. Knowledge of the local language he also lacks a little more than completely, so Barney constantly gets into trouble and trouble, for nothing that the Thais on his background like small rodents. In one such showdown, Barney is noticed by two young sisters whose skill in martial arts helps them rescue Barney and take a kind of guardianship over him by inviting him to visit. After eating their local spicy Somtum salad, Barney turns into a brutal red giant, crushing everything and everything that the sisters did not fail to use.
Muay Thai fans, Tony Jha and Janine Vismitananda, who came to this film, will remain slightly disappointed - despite the rather high-quality level of combat choreography (directed by the legendary Panna Rittikray), the presence of Jones plays more against the film. Let his character turn the picture into a slapstic trick comedy, but he is too imbecile and large-sized for a little serious perception of the film at least in action scenes. Another disadvantage is a completely incomprehensible plot canvas, woven solely for the sake of transition from one fight to another. Even if the authors did not set the task to make a serious film, but in the end it does not cause laughter.
Connoisseurs of the above-mentioned performers and martial arts should still give a chance to the film, since it can, if not surprise, then please a variety of fighting games. And the young Jindamani deserves special attention - with a competent choice of roles and good offers, this kickboxer can say a lot more in the world of action cinema.
