Ah, a journey through the past. Soon after the film will be the Olympics-80 in Moscow. And here we can compare something with what was in Europe, in one of its oldest parts, which has survived to our days. The Italians are lucky. They have a place to shoot. It is good that they have preserved their historical monuments and exchanged their inflationary money for euros, or counting all these billions of liras. . .
Some charming women. There are cars of those years, the subway, similar to ours. And then there are thieves, businessmen, just people. But mostly just romance. Even the female thief here so romantically removes the watch from the main character's hand ... just as if he was making an offer. Yes, there were once real women: they could easily propose to a man from whom he could not dodge. These days, women are sloppy in terms of romance... everyone is waiting for something... until the prince falls on them, probably. You cannot take yourself for the princess and put on all this the prince from the nearest street.
According to the tradition of such films, the main character / actor will constantly get into all sorts of situations of a funny or just cheerful kind, when different people will perceive reality differently, hearing the same thing.
The rest is a funny film, where an honest man is forced to lie about himself in order to be with his beloved thief. Who would have thought that thieves don’t like to be lied to? Nonsense! Thieves do not like to be robbed and deceived. Ha-ha-ha! The Nazis probably wouldn’t like it either if they were locked up in a concentration camp with the prospect of being sent to a gas chamber. Ironic. But in hell it will be hot for all of them, unless they repent and receive Christ with all their heart. Still interesting. The Italians have a very rich history. It is closely connected with Christianity, as well as directly with Jesus, and with fascism ... and here with the European Union. It's everywhere. They left their mark on the movie. And we at one time Spartan "penny" gave us.
All right. We rode on all sorts of cars, robbed someone, went down to the subway, looked at the plane, visited various historical and newfangled places of those times. We thought about a lot. Time and...
Great movie! The film is covered with positive tones, kind and such naive (in a good sense) humor. It just gets so easy and good in the soul!
Although the theme of the film does not blow good (to steal is bad!), nevertheless, everything has a reverse side of the coin.
But let me tell you a little about the film: the story is about the hero billionaire Guido Quiller (the beautiful Adriano Celentano), who became rich and famously spoiled the lives of local robbers. And now fate confronts him with a charming pickpocket Tily (Eleanor Georgie). And here the fate of the hero changes significantly!
From the movie:
- humor in the movie. So light, kind, funny, comic. What you need to relax and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere.
- actors. Celentano is just good. Very charismatic, courageous. He may be silent, but we are still delighted. Georgie - I really like the style of the heroine, charming, feminine. The main characters look harmoniously together and play well.
- plot. Of course, the plot is simple, but some nuances make it interesting. Funny and comic situations (running competitions, “theft” of the main character, etc.) are well played. The film does not cause any bad impressions, but leaves only positive ones.
Cons: I honestly didn't. Everything is great for this genre.
Velvet pens may not be as popular as the same Bluff and Bingo Bongo, and about the Shrew I generally remain silent, but still this picture is an important component of the image of Celentano.
The film tells the story of engineer Guido, who became rich selling armored glass and who is endlessly hated by thieves. Ironically, after a while, he becomes a thief. Of course, because of the great love. For the most part, there is nothing to say. The most standard, worked out on all fronts comedy. With a lot of funny sketches like we love.
Everything's standard for actors, too. Celentano takes all the attention, others are only in the shadows, although they play well. Of course, we can not forget about Eleanor, but something tells me that the emphasis was on the beauty of the girl (which is a good move, because she is beautiful). Butler is not bad, grandfather, brother is also on the level.
Separate plus music. You can love Italian comedies and music. Cheerful, easy, sometimes making you feel awkward because of certain situations. Bravo composer
As a result, we get a standard (but not bad) comedy, with the usual Celentano, Italian humor, funny, light, suitable for evening viewing, and not for once. You can look bravely.
A clear reference to the monkey, does not fit either the European or Hollywood standard of beauty, balding, and, in general, somewhat strange. But at the same time rhythmic, dancing, athletic, pumped up, artistic, light, plastic and musical. It's all about him. About Celentano. A man who was not originally suited to the role of Italian macho, at least on a local scale, but who has become the main actor symbol of Italy around the world, and in our country in particular.
Once again, I have already observed that the most famous films with the participation of Andrew have always a strong connection with the directors and screenwriters of Castellano and Pippolo. They are responsible for all the well-known comedy masterpieces with the participation of Celentano. In the same way, a certain group of actors who also wander from film to film has a connection with this trio. In general, quite decent, watchable, funny Italian comedies with Celentano are the work of this entire brotherhood. We will remember this fact!
I mentioned these connections for a reason. After all, "Velvet pens", by and large, are not much different from previous and subsequent analogues of this company. Except for the plot and the main character. This time, Celentano lies between two worlds: rich and poor. So he rushes back and forth, so that he does not lose his love, and ... his love does not lose.
Guido Quiller, performed by the famous artist, is a character much more vulnerable, sincere, kind and sweet than the macho ones who have come out. However, he is just as smart, fun, dancing and cheerful. Of course, all the same dance tricks from Chelentano and his brilliant facial expressions. Of course, love is unearthly and beautiful at hand. Of course, it's funny music. Of course, there are many different places and funny situations. However, what makes this movie stand out from all the other similar ones is that it is sweeter, kinder and lighter... and not as fun. Just funny.
To some extent, he personifies the character of Celentano specifically in this film.
I won’t say I was laughing or having fun. This is not the most humorous comedy with Adriano. This is just a pleasant entertainment film, which is sometimes so necessary after this urban turmoil of the XXI century.
Just to watch. Just to get some rest.
The way to a woman’s heart is through a thick purse.
It would seem typical situation – a successful billionaire, the owner of a large and successful company. He is the dream of any woman, but unfortunately - married to a greedy woman who only wants to get all the wealth that brings huge profits - unbreakable glass. This enterprise is in unprecedented demand among jewelry stores, which are the first on the list of any thief.
When the confusion arises, Guido falls in love with a beautiful pocket named Tilly. He will not only “steal” the heart of the beauty, but also “conquer” a fortune.
The plot is a bit typical of modern times, but at the same time pleasant to watch. Adriano Celentano, like no other, is suitable for the role of both an influential rich man and a thief-criminal. The tragedy and humor of the situation is that women are not interested in Guido as a man, they are interested in his condition. But if you do not mention your capital when dating, everything can happen differently. This is what happened in this picture.
Although in the career of Celentano among all successful films, there is no mention of the film “Velvet Hands”, for me, this picture is much better than the most famous “Taming the Shrew”, where it was necessary to tame not the hero Adriano, but the bohemian Lisa – Ornella Muti.
8 out of 10
Another film created by Adriano Celentano and the wonderful duet of Castellano and Pipolo. It's their style. A year remains until the present masterpiece - "Taming the Shrew." Not to say that the film is much weaker. It's just not that accurate.
All the basic techniques are in place.
It is based on the theme of thieves. It is very good that each film of these directors has a different atmosphere. But the meaning is one – love and its vicissitudes.
Celentano's partner was the charming Eleanor Georgie. The actors will meet again in the film of the same directors. She did a great job here. There's even a pretty frank scene. Which is quite typical for Italians.
Celentano is king again. But he remains a human being. He has all the emotions of mere mortals. He just shows them amazingly. When his supercar was dismantled, the nervousness was just splashed out by Niagara Falls. Awesome.
And the scene when he warms up before running is just dumb. When he runs/runs a marathon, then comments are also superfluous.
The hero has a butler named Benny. He is English, as is typical of stereotypical humorous notions. In this picture, the hero shares his emotional experiences with him.
The small role of Sandro Giani perfectly fits into the overall narrative.
"The Sardinian has split!"
When ideas run out, call the master. I was very surprised. When I saw the silhouette of a suspense genius. Bravo.
Great movie from a fun company. Do not forget about the secret supplement!
