Eternity and Mithun or Mithun and Eternity. In this film, there are two indisputable advantages: unrealistically beautiful Mithun and a rather interesting plot.
So, in one particular Indian village lives an evil scoundrel Gajnder Singh (Kader Khan), who commits continuous lawlessness oppressing the villagers. Meanwhile, the city hosts a concert Ravi Shankar (Mithun Chakraborty). From the hall, he is watched by love eyes - his fiancée Kalpana (Padmini Kolhapure) came to the concert. But there are some more eyes that are almost in love - the female lawyer Bharti (Jaya Prada). And she came to this concert too.
The entourage, of course, is cool - the portraits of Ravi-Mithun on all the posters along the road, the crowds of fans in the hall, and the concert itself!"Freeze, angels, look - I'm dancing!"And the angels freeze, and the people in the hall - from this magical plasticity, from a mind-blowing smile, from a graceful figure in a black with sparkling suit. And, of course, from acting. During the concert Ravi notices that Kalpana is gone... How his expression changes! The music continues to sound - the same cheerful music - but the mood Ravi is completely different, joy is replaced by despair, and it is clearly read - both in facial expressions and in movements.
After the concert, the female lawyer is horrified to see that her favorite singer is being taken away by the police. Turns out he's sentenced to death for murder. The groom Bharti (Shakti Kapoor) - the evil warden of the prison, grinning disgustingly, tells his bride that The rabbis will soon be hanged. But it's called "fuck you." No way! Bold and determined Bharti is taking action! She visits Ravi in prison. He's crushed and has no hope. Psychologically very reliably conducts this scene, and in his eyes, and in bitter laughter, grin through this hopelessness. And the fear of believing, the fear of finding hope again, which, of course, will deceive. But Bharti is not one of those who retreats after the first failure: Let the law die, but I will not let you die!
Bharti visits Kalpana and learns the whole story, so to speak, firsthand. You’ll know that by watching the movie. And Bharti (already in love with Ravi) comes up with a witty "knight move." The police are in shock, the groom - the chief of police - is choking with anger, and nothing can be done. Nice move!
Ravi returns to self-confidence, he begins to hope that death can be avoided. He begins to believe Bharti. In his look at the girl there is no more incredulity and bitterness, there is already glowing gratitude. And hope. The court, however, is not yet on the side of the Ravi and Bharti. Ravi This “extinguishes” Mithun plays just literally – the light leaves his eyes, as if someone is extinguishing a light bulb inside, he no longer wants to fight for life. He only regrets that Bharti has committed such a rash act. No one believes in the success of the case - neither the mother of Ravi, nor the mother of Kalpana. He believes only Bharti. She's already fighting for her lover. Be calm, she will be able to rekindle the fire of hope in the eyes of her beloved. Enemies alternately turn blue and green with anger, but time is won! And time is exactly what is needed now Ravi.
The most beautiful clip of the film is a joint dance at night Bharti and Ravi. Romantic music, so much love in their eyes. This is the presence of love and Jaei, and Mithun - played for all hundred. The most beautiful clip of the film, just not come off.
Meanwhile, the bandits also do not sleep and do everything they can to get Ravi out of the way. And here already intervenes Kalpana, asking for help from the villagers. Let the men hide cowardly in the houses - the women will understand and support her. And begins the “baby rebellion”, “senseless and merciless” – just like Sholokhov. A crowd of women rushes to beat the hated Gajender, and in front (almost didn’t say – on a white horse) Kalpana in a scarlet sari (it has a red banner of one color).
In general, a great story. I'm absolutely delighted with the music. Bappi Lahiri's music is wonderfully good. The classic track "Pyar Humara Amar Rahega" performed by Ashi Bhosle, the best song of this film. "Mujhko Kehte Hai Romeo"Kishor Kumar and joint Kishora and AshiAshi>Ashi are surprisingly bright and incendication. And the dances performed by Mithun, as always something unimaginable, impossible to come off. This "sexy" movement, it's something magical, the roof is blowing away.
