What you sow, you reap In the hands of poor peasant children who drink tea with sugar, a magic grain gets into the sight. But for the grain to give rise to joy and abundance, you need to find a mate for it. Children go to the fairy-tale villain to get a second grain.
To evaluate this film, you need to look at the year of its creation - 1941. It cannot be worse, the country is not up to fairy tales, everything for the front, everything for victory. Making films without ideology was almost impossible. Maybe someone sees in the film a struggle with if not the bourgeoisie, so with the brown plague, it seemed to me that an ordinary fairy tale about the eternal dream of prosperity. Magnificent acting, good directing (infinitely sorry for the director who left so early, could compete with Alexander Rowe), a non-standard dynamic plot, although the scenery is poor, but the special effects turned out to be excellent.
You have to show the kids.
