The smile of youth Summer, sunny film, all permeated with some jazz intonation. Before us is a small story of a pretty boy Sergey, a recent graduate of the school, looking for his calling, trying, taking the first steps. One event catches another, the action smoothly develops interspersed with the thoughts of the hero, witty conversations and jokes. And although there are difficulties awaiting Sergei, and all sorts of pitfalls, there is no doubt that everything will be well. The script is not stupid, moderately naive. The Soviet Union appears in the film as a kind of almost perfect world, where you can calmly look for yourself, meeting interesting people along the way.
Alexei Mokrousov, who plays the role of Sergey, is natural and lyrical, and in the roles of the second plan recognized masters: the wise and soft grandmother of Sergei - the wonderful Valentina Sperantova, the father of theatrical actor - the manneristic Alexander Shirvindt, especially I want to note the beautiful Maria Mironova in the role of the corrector of the newspaper Olga Pavlovna, the role is small, but the actress has completely thought out her image; and easy carving, and erudition, conviction, burning for Olga Pavlovna's favorite business. I also liked the circus strongman Igor Filatov as Stasik, Sergei’s neighbor, overcoming the addiction (drunken) and dreaming of returning to the arena. And also the old photographer-magician - Mikhail Mayorov.
“What a smile you have” is a simple but interesting story with a surprisingly pleasant, relaxing atmosphere, will be interesting not only for young people, but for everyone who loves good movies and is tired of modern blockbusters.
