Some girls tend to be late for a pre-arranged event and, of course, do not treat this from a purely pedantic and punctual point of view. All sorts of things happen. It used to be mobile phones, now it is not difficult to call and inquire about the reasons for the delay and so on. The Cavalier will wait, in thirty-degree frost with freezing roses, you can squat, so as not to become stiff with chance, nothing terrible will happen. But this is how it happened with Svetlana in this film that the girl was late in the registry office ... for two days, just why immediately be offended and worried.
But this is what happens in such cases and what curious events can turn out of such cases and shows this absolutely wonderful, light, romantic, Soviet comedy film with a claim to a little musicality (purely externally, because in its inner film is musical entirely, in the construction of scenes, dialogues, heroes) and theatrical production of the action.
In the plot of this air and good film flight, two beautiful girls (both actresses are called Irina - the first Irina Bezrukova, and the second - Irina Feofanova) and two beautiful guys, who by the will of fate fell into the swirling and twisting whirlpool of interpersonal relations. Constantine flew on a working trip, during which he met a flight attendant. Fast romance turns into something more. At the same time, Constantine’s friend, to whom he left the keys, gave them to his friend Timothy, who at that time lived in Constantine’s apartment with his future wife and classmate Svetlana. But the notorious delay in the registry office, which has quite rational and justified reasons, has spun and twisted the mechanism of a number of curious misunderstandings and intersections. Konstantin comes home and meets Svetlana there. Later, throughout the film, the parents of Konstantin and Svetlana get acquainted with each other, thinking that Konstantin and Svetlana got married, then think that they separated, and Timothy and Vika spend time together. In general, the heroes exchanged their brides and grooms, and parents to the last frames think that the “right couple” consists of Svetlana and Konstantin. All this is accompanied by a constant increase in the situation and its confusion, a commotion in the sensual consciousness of Vicky and Timothy, certainly in the finale, which should lead to a logical solution. The finale is made in the best vein of a romantic film, where all past events are only mild and even fabulous accomplishments of the inevitable onset of such an end.
A great film, which is a modern fairy tale arrangement of a love story, in which the characters find a friend through a tangled tangle of events and misunderstanding, find logically and exactly as it originally should be. And the general staging, situations, actions and words of the characters resemble something musical, although there are no melodies outwardly, there is no musical-like. Live actors in theatrical emotions create a kind and funny world, dialogues are so direct and, at the same time, easy, close, no boring, no distance from the human heart. A real youth fairy tale about love in a good Soviet way. Beautiful young actors Irina Feofanova, Irina Bezrukova, Vladislav Demchenko and Sergey Zuev, film masters Irina Muravyova, Mikhail Svetin, Roman Tkachuk and Inna Ulyanova. The small moments of a musical film don’t grow into anything more, let alone dance. Characters just think in song format without opening their mouths.
A real friendly and comedy-romantic movie. And it's all the more strange to see the film's low overall rating. As Charlie wrote on a film search, “No review of such a movie!” I have to admit, my eyes went out when I saw a score of 6.095.
