Deadly show or mind games Viewers are always attracted to all sorts of reality shows, where there is a survival game, a prize for victory. Although the title of the movie "Bloody Show" is too loud for this picture and puzzles me where it came from, because there is no blood in the film. It could have been more appropriate to the story. But the implementation of the plot seems to have succeeded. I was lost in guessing, trying to figure out the killer and the reason for his actions, but about everything in order.
In 2002, two films with a similar plot were released at once, this is the Bloody Show and One Eye. The only difference is that there five people settle in a house located in the wilderness for half a year, and here seven and three months. At first glance, they look very similar, but this is not quite so. Here the plot in my opinion is more worthy, although not spectacular. Let me say a few words about actors. They are colorful, spelled out well, and with the task set on them (as actors) coped. It is interesting to watch them anyway. And as for the killer and the way he's killed, it looks a little corny. First he stuns with a stun gun, then injects a lethal injection. The focus is not on murder, but on the atmosphere. The director does not give direct clues to the very end who the killer is and why he is doing it, thereby creating intrigue. Many do not see the motive in the film, but if you want to know why he does it, watch the film until the end of the subtitles, only then you will know the reason.
I did not see any big downsides that would spoil the perception of this picture. Although the murders themselves could be made more original and impressive, corresponding to the title of the picture.
In general, the movie did not scare me at all, but it hooked me. The finale of the picture is unexpected for me, so I think it is worth watching, only for fans of thrillers rather than horrors.
