Five beautiful parties for blonde Here is a film that every girl should have at hand, so that in different life situations, reviewing it, she could say: “Well, what do you want – these are men!” However, as the action develops, it seems that the heroines are not one, but five, so Lucy performed by Monica Potter behaves differently with the contenders for her hand and heart.
The plot is simple, uncomplicated, but not without the charm inherent in good, kind romcoms. A young journalist, Lucy, is abandoned by a young man, believing her to be “spoiled.” She with grief closes from everyone and even gets drunk, but faithful friends pull her out of depression, organizing blind acquaintances. Quite non-trivially served "novels" and their heroes. At the beginning of the film, it is said that the heroine will marry in an hour, and then the story of all five acquaintances, dates and relationships is untwisted. Of course, from the middle of the tape it is clear who will stand with Lucy at the altar, but this does not spoil the impression of the tape.
Who are the lucky ones? Divorced entomologist, inspiringly talking about bedbugs, a former baseball player, a kind of nerd with a tender soul, a successful doctor of a very “pure” kind, a sexaholic writer and a computer store owner. (As, however, there are many free successful men in the West: our ladies never dreamed of such an assortment.) With each of them, the heroine spends some time to make the final choice.
The film is light, sentimental, sometimes tearful, but infinitely kind and funny. Few such tapes have appeared recently: there are no bare ass, swearing, puking heroes of both sexes and the like “lotches” of modern comedies. Nevertheless, the film looks interesting.
The actors also did not pump up, each endowed his hero with memorable features, and the faces are not at all known to the viewer: Gael Garcia Bernal, a kind of modern “Caesar”, and part-time sexually concerned writer, John Hanna in the role of entomologist Doug, handsome Henry Thomas, playing a charming Barry. I won’t name everyone, watch the movie when you want to warm your soul with the story of happiness that we all need.
