Gathering in his film two Hollywood actors of the first magnitude Billy Bob Thornton and Patricia Arquette Robbie Henson gave us the "Tag".
The film follows Sheriff Darrell Hardwick (Billy Bob Thornton) who investigates the murder of transgender Mona at the request of her wife Scarlett. Yes, it would seem very interesting plot and the beginning of the film was really tempting, but the whole detective line went to waste due to the interweaving of politics there.
The hero of Billy Bob Thornton resembles another hero, whom he played a year earlier in the "Monster Ball" - his sheriff, like Hank, is lost, disappointed, he has problems with his ex-wife, in favor of his father he had to break off relations with his brother and so on. Along the way, in the course of the film, he tries to understand himself and improve his life.
Scarlett performed by Patricia Arquette was great. Having just lost her lover, she tries to save herself, her self, helps Darrell and does what she does, which is dance. What, and the scene of Scarlett’s dance in the club was on top.
And it looks good in this movie, but it was shot at the wrong time. Take it off Henson ten years early, and he'd look better. The rest of the movie isn't bad. You can watch it, pass the evening and remember the VHS era.
