Think of a shark, there is nothing funnier than a shark.
My super-ex-girlfriend
Girls are great. Girls are class. If you do not like girls, then you are (like a heron - a kurlak, a kurlak, a kurlak).
I am well aware of what the creators of this film wanted to convey, but why they went such a bad way is really difficult to understand (the box office is sad). My Super Ex is a nucleus of romantic comedy and superhero movies. At one point I thought I was watching a parody of Superman. Only instead of handsome Reeve, slowly fading Uma Thurman.
Flying, freaking, stealing cars. You can't be sorry, but putting your hand on your heart, Uma Thurman is very sorry. The last good movie with her is Kill Bill 2. Let's face it, Uma Thurman's acting career began to slide down the toilet when she parted ways with Tarantino. Some crazy stream poured hideous dramas, melodramas, comedies, etc.
"My Super Ex" isn't Thurman's worst blunder, but it's still a bad movie. Funny and funny moments are negligible. I only liked the shark (think of the shark, there's nothing funnier than the shark), seriously. Why? Because it was so crazy and ridiculous that I started laughing. The degree of thrash has heated up.
The whole film Thurman dealt with Wilson, i.e. sharpened lyas. By the way, answer my question, please, since when did Citizen Wilson become a comedian? When did you shoot Reese Witherspoon? His brother is a comedian, and Luke is dull. He is responsible for sadness, he is responsible for despondency. And Thurman herself plays through her sleeves. There's still Faris, but she's a hell of a lot.
And most strikingly, the movie was directed by Ivan Reitman. Jason's father (Wurhees, sorry...) and the creator of "Twins" with "Ghostbusters." In other words, degradation will overtake everyone. If Reitman’s previous film “Evolution” was controversial, then “My Super-Ex” freely crosses the line of bad cinema.
Add here sex in space (Downie – envy), iron pigeons (seriously!), magical meteorites (where they came from, spit, fell and fell), vulgar chatter, etc. I'm not arguing, girls can appreciate, but I avoid such movie lovers, as well as similar pictures.
P.S.
I would like to satisfy myself orally, says one of the characters in the film. Reitman, but the son will beat you at such a pace ...

All the superheroes we've seen in American cinema: crawling on walls, throwing out webs; and mutant humans, who have all the different abilities they got at birth; and four astronaut friends, who have each received their superpowers; and four brothers, not turned from humans into reptiles, but former reptiles originally — I think you can not name them, you know everything about them, including the main thing that unites all these heroes of America is that they represent the fight against crime. As for the film in question, it can be called a good parody of all the above-mentioned super hits, since the main character of “My Super-Ex” is a seemingly fragile girl who actually knows how to do tricks cooler than Spider-Man, and with one movement is able to be where disaster occurs, and with a second movement to prevent misfortune. Despite the fact that the heroine of Uma Thurman can do the impossible, she lacks female happiness - she does not need a "strong shoulder", because no one in the world can compare with her in strength, but just need a life partner, and if you slept with a superheroine and quit, then superpower will be applied against you.
The film begins with one of the heroic actions of the main character, namely, preventing a bank robbery, after which a certain persistent gentleman meets her on the subway, whom she immediately saves from a robber. Right during a date in a restaurant, she has to leave to perform another feat, and the new boyfriend does not even suspect who the one that already hints at sex is. After the first night together, the new boyfriend "G girls" interested in her life some important gentlemen. After the first third of the film, we are told how the heroine Uma Thurman became a superheroine, and immediately it becomes clear who the person who was interested in her life is. The only trouble is that the feeling that the hero feels for the “G girl” is not love at all. Meanwhile, a mysterious villain makes plans to deprive the main character of her super-power.
As you can see, there is a plot here, and not devoid of cool turns and important events, in addition, interesting characters and sometimes cute good humor. Special effects, it is clear that not the highest class, but there is something to look at - computer graphics here, of course, is not as chic as in the comics, the heroes of which I described at the beginning of the review, but also not squalid. The main character and his anxious friend are very reminiscent of similar characters from the comedy Good luck, Chuck! In fact, “My Super Ex” is a story about betrayal and a love triangle, presented in a fantastic comedy key, which is unique in itself. This is a beautiful young story.
My attention this comedy attracted familiar actors and a funny trailer. Starting to watch this movie, I was prepared to see a funny and bright comedy with a taste of fantasy, but I was waiting for disappointment and one complete stupidity. From the first minutes of the film, you realize that something is wrong with him, but you give him a chance and look further. The further, the worse. The script of this film is actually original and fun, but the creators of the picture could not bring it to the screen funny and vividly. Something happened. The only thing that came to mind was: what a mess.
In this story, we see a guy living in a city guarded by a super girl. She has superpowers and fights evil. The hero begins to date a stranger, not knowing that she is the super girl. Soon something goes wrong, and he throws her, thereby getting the worst enemy in the person of a woman who knows how to break through the whole building with one of her heads.
Film critics reacted to this film cold, many neutral, but the viewer realized that something is wrong. The film did not pay off at the box office and did not even pay off its imposing budget. Such a loud and beloved Hollywood star as Uma Thurman does not save the movie from failure. Her participation pleased me when watching, and it was fun to watch in scenes of battles or flights. Thurman played comically, but the movie itself does not laugh at all.
I have always liked Luke Wilson. He has interesting roles and favorite films, but in this comedy he does not please the audience. Almost all the scenes he has a swollen face, as if he was buzzing all night. He looked bad and unnatural. Yes, and the duo of actors did not work. Everything looked cold and tense. Comic scenes, from which the viewer supposedly had to die of laughter, were not at all funny, but in some places even stupid and fake. The scene in bed did not work out and was the most unpleasant. I looked a little dirty and not funny. I think it could have been better thought out.
The special effects and flights of the characters in the sky were good, and everything looked interesting, but the film as a whole is not impressive. There was something missing from watching it all the time. Some pleasant atmosphere, and the humor itself, which in this film was slippery and stretched out of the finger.
My Super-Ex/B is a 2006 American comedy. This high-profile movie failed, and it's disposable. From this scenario, which came to Don Payne’s mind, it was possible to make a much funnier and more pleasant comedy, and what we see is not very good. Now you can tear apart my review of who fell for this stupid and empty movie.

I will reveal to you the “secret” recipe of the comedy-parody American Movie: one blonde with big eyes ( Anna Faris “A Very Scary Movie” Exactly that), one girl with black-rimmed glasses, a naive romantic simpleton, his lustful friend, an old plot from the comic book, a lot of irony, parody, banter.
It's all about this movie. But I beg you very much, do not look here for any fiction, no thriller, no crime, no intricate plot. Even the drama is two grams. This is just a protracted film, a banter, where Uma Thurman replays, but with what drive! Anna Faris plays Anna Faris, it's a pity only stylists overdone - without a thick layer of lipstick and makeup she is much better. Luke Wilson is very simple, but Uma plays for two.Raine Wilson and Eddie Izzard very suitable for their roles.
The jokes here are quite level. Lots of parodies about superheroes. Why does a G-girl fly in a skirt? But it's not like she's wearing a superman suit. It's a stalk, wake up! Why is she throwing a shark out the window? Well, not throwing an atomic bomb? Thank you creators for not ridiculing religion, no rusty African-American humor, no voiceover laughter, genital humor within reason. The plot, however, develops directly. Do you always have an intricate plot when you're going to a comedy? Relax and just watch. And if you love something special, then you need a detective, or a thriller, or a serious drama.

Become publicly interested in other women. Turn around on the street on passing beauties, admire this or that actress in the movies, etc. However, this way you can get rid of both a girl and a couple of teeth (“40 tips on how to sew a girl”).
Superheroes are not the first year whirlwind rushing through cinemas, raking up the big box office, then not so much. We’ve seen all sorts of superhumans. Someone has the qualities of certain representatives of the animal world, someone has fantastic genetic mutations. There are real heroes among them, there are hooligans, there are figs, there are cunning. But now there are also rare female neurasthenics flying around the city in a miniskirt.
To leave a girl is a delicate matter, not everyone will come out of it dry and with whole bones. If the guy is a loser, and his passion has superpowers (I’m not talking about super-spookiness and super-slutty, this is typical for many ladies and without the identity of the heroine of the comic), then put out the lights, gentlemen! There will be a living shark in bed, and a car crumpled into an accordion, launched into space.
It's a shame for the female sex, for God's sake. Girls are different. Give one super-power - it will catch hooligans with the left hand, and the right Russian space program to revive, launching Phobos-Grunts into airless space. Give another - she will start to beat the ex-boyfriend back, without thinking about the expediency of such an enterprise.
Jenny, by and large, is not so bad - all her problems are due to an unsuccessful first experience in a relationship with the opposite sex. Obviously, in this scenario, the banal development of the plot leads to the same place as most Disney cartoons - to a sweet happy ending. But it's for the best, right? An angry superwoman is like a monkey with a nuclear suitcase, and the sooner you swap it for a banana, the safer, forgive me for the Freudian turn.
The acting game, which could become a crutch for a limp plot, this time did not save him. Thurman earns a fee, Wilson looks too stupid even for his role, Anna Faris is not quite out of the image of Cindy Campbell, Eddie Izzard forgot to say that the villain does not necessarily have to be cardboard. Therefore, I can only recommend "Super-Ex" faute de mieux.
A very unusual and interesting film about a heroine with incredible power. It has everything - and love, and villain, and superpowers. I don’t regret watching this movie and would recommend it to many. In addition to everything about “super-”, there are also feelings of people, sincere friendship, true love. And a lot of things that teach you to be a good person and be able to notice many things.
There’s a lot of humor in the movie, which is really good. And the idea itself is commendable: a girl who saves the world every day finds herself in a love triangle, where she does not shine. Not getting any gratitude for his work, keeping his super-secret, and even unsuccessful love, make the heroine truly Predator, who amusingly and dangerously takes revenge on his former love. And this is not some stupid tricks that one could fear, but really insidious with humorous scum.
I expected the worst from special effects. The actors also liked their jokes. Uma really portrayed a very irritable and emotional character - you can immediately see how the G-girl has a hard time. But Anna Faris seemed to me too passive and inconspicuous, although yes - appearance here played a greater role than acting talent.

And this is all from the creator of "Ghost Hunters"? Well, here's another example of a film from the category of passing: an incomprehensible plot, bad acting of actors. In general, do not understand what, and I watched it only because of Uma Thurman, as I am sure most did, since nothing more draws to this film. After meeting beautiful Jenny Johnson, Matt Saunders thinks he has finally found the woman of his dreams. However, after making sure that she is a real superman in a skirt, Matt decides to part with her, especially since Jenny becomes too intrusive and demanding. But it turned out that breaking up with a female superman is not so easy. Feeling humiliated and insulted, Jenny uses all her supernatural abilities to not only put an end to Matt’s developing romance with his colleague Hannah, but also turn the life of her “ex” into a living hell. One could add an extra ball to this film for being a simple romantic story with an angry girl dreaming of revenge on her former young man, but no. Decided to spoil everything here, for some reason giving the main character super powers? Well, why tell me. I don’t think it can be as relevant at all. In general, the story itself played too much, the main character is constantly crooked, somewhat reminiscent of Simon Pegg from the film How to Lose Friends and Make Everyone Hate You, but there was Simon Pegg, who played very well, but here. Even Uma Thurman was annoying, although she was, is and will remain my favorite actress. In general, those who did not expect any new revelations in the genre of youth comedy, those film will not disappoint very much, but those who hoped for something, or wanted to have fun with friends, they will be disappointed, since the humor here is also flat. And this is what we see from Ivan Reitman, the creator of such a masterpiece as Ghostbusters. Something is clearly wrong.Original
