"Godfather" in Russian Amazing, shrill, deep and very high-quality series. To become a masterpiece, he is prevented only by a blurred ending, in everything else - a magnificent film, a kind of "Godfather" in the Russian way. This film tells about the life of Baron, a man extremely ambiguous. It is clearly shown how the thirst for profit leads to such a process, the hero from a quiet, exemplary boy gradually turns into an outspoken bandit, having gone through various trials. On the one hand, this character is cruel, for him to kill a person once spit, but on the other hand, nothing human is alien to him, he can love, he can help a beggar, but he does not cease to be a criminal from this anyway. In a world steeped in money, there was only one person who remained honest, despite all circumstances, and that was Baron’s father. He was the only one who lived for something, for a family, while the rest of them fought for money that was in their throats. The protagonist tells his father that he does not want to be like him, but is his life anything better? He is betrayed by his own, almost everyone despises him and longs for his death. All those who contacted the Baron later found themselves in, to put it mildly, an unenviable position, and even his own sister because of him fell under the distribution.
The series is divided into two storylines - the first about the past of the main character, the second line shows our days. Both lines are done perfectly. The acting game is so chic that you can not take your eyes off, Nodar in the title role is magnificent, as if he was created for this role, other acting works also leave pleasant impressions.
It is worth noting that the script material here is very good and smart, makes you think. However, Igor Ageev often delights with worthy things. Very qualitatively and talentedly put this picture Dmitry Svetozarov. But most importantly, the music of Andrei Sigle is simply piercing, soulful and conveys the mood of the film.
It is a pity that such truly deep series are very, very few in modern cinema, we can only thank everyone who took part in this film.
