couple of good guys Psychological drama with everything characteristic of American films of the early 90s, pathos. The first directorial work of actor Kiefer Sutherland. Later he made a couple of not very good films and devoted himself to acting and production. Sutherland's greatest success is the lead role in the 24 Hours series. He got an Emmy and a Globe for it. In Sentenced to Death, Kiefer also played a major role. And I must say, he played well.
Overall, I am not happy with the film. I did not see anything special in the presentation of the material. And the material itself, not to say too interesting. A morale about humanity, family values and society. The good performance of the main characters, which were performed by Sutherland and Forest Whitaker, raised the bar somewhat. Looking at them was really interesting. The main villain in Clancy Brown's pitch came out too flat and played. In general, Jude Cole’s music sounded pretty bad. She should be in some melodrama. Some scenes looked too absurd and caused some bewilderment, framed by waves of sweet melodies. So the music in this film, acted as a spoon of tar.
Overall, I got some satisfaction from the film, but it’s probably because of my old-school mindset rather than the quality of the material. Closer to the final, I was rather bored and waited for the speedy completion. I cannot recommend the film. Watching for acting.
