Smile the stuntmen! Yuri Rusanov at 34 became too old for sports, and yesterday’s all-arounder returns to the first already forgotten profession of a tuner. But his assistant film director Lenochka finds him, and Rusanov’s life is transformed. The work of a stuntman, the magical world of cinema drag Yuri, but the disaster on the set ruins his plans. . .
Very good movie on a rare subject. I liked almost everything about him. Events are served by bright scenes with funny dialogues, everything is dynamic and spectacular. Jokes are replaced by sad moments, lyrics are intertwined with adventure. Good soundtrack Evgeny Krylatov. Young Alexander Mikhailov at the peak of form: tall, beautiful, sporty, with an open Russian face. Scenes with professional athletes looked absolutely natural. Moreover, the actor does many tricks himself, in general his hero is a super-stuntman, he jumps and runs and makes auto-tricks and ' burns ', and works with horses. Actors look very bright episode with the search for a brand, it is somehow particularly palpable fragrance ' cinema '. There are many famous actors in the film. I liked Alexander Lazarev in the role of himself, the actor knows the simplest things so funny to beat, a natural talent. Marina Dyuzheva, as always, was cute as the sister of the main character.
Now for the minuses. Actress Lilia Aleshnikova - the subject of romantic experiences of the protagonist somehow does not pull, next to the courageous handsome Mikhailov, she looks like his unmarried aunt. Not always family ties (Aleshnikov's wife director Yakov Segel) are good for art. I didn’t like the scene in the restaurant after the movie premiered. It would be better to spend more time stunt work, staging tricks, etc. It is always interesting. In addition, the operator constantly abused large-scale plans.
Outcome: With a few drawbacks, the film is good, and even more valuable as one of the first Soviet films about stuntmen. On this interesting topic, I also recommend the mini-series 'The Way to Yourself' (1986) with Alexander Galibin, there is a more detailed and detailed show of the work of stuntmen.
