Last sunset The genre of erotic thriller with the beginning of the zero years went into decline and there were almost no truly noticeable and box office films in this genre. Low-budget Hollywood cinema has always been away from the mainstream, because the film “The Last Sunset” of 2006, in Russia called “Fatal Instinct”, directed by Michael Valverde, became an example of a typical thrash, exploiting the themes of sexual perversions hidden in the heart of the main character Melissa.
Even with a budget of half a million dollars, this film makes an extremely disgusting impression, because the directing in it is at an extremely low level. The tape seems slightly retouched home video, in which the frame is poorly built and the card is blurred.
But the main disadvantage of the film I can call absolutely talentless acting. Joan Severance and Corbin Bernsen play their characters incredibly bad and disgusting even for thrashing, and erotic scenes are filmed by cameraman Keith Holland Coaine unaesthetically.
“The Last Sunset” is an unsuccessful erotic thriller, once again exploiting the themes of such cult films as “Basic Instinct”, “Fatal Attraction” and “Color of the Night”, which I do not recommend to anyone to watch.
