The tale of a happy family: father, mother and soncello. But one day a police outfit comes to their home and knits their mother, jailing her for murder for 20 years, as all the evidence points to her. Batya, with the wonderful appetizing name Julien, does not believe in the guilt of his wife and for three years tries to justify his beloved, filing useless appeals for a review of the case. And when it becomes clear that the judicial system of France is blinded, like a drunken drunken cold, Julien decides on a desperate move.
Another cool thriller that plays on a sense of injustice. It was from this tape that the Hollywood “Three Days to Escape” was slicked. How can you live with the thought that you were in prison for 20 years for a crime you did not commit? You can go crazy from the thoughts eaten from the inside, drop your hands and extinguish hope, lose interest in life - literally all this is observed in Julien's wife. But besides her, the husband suffers, being such a happy person, he becomes his own faded shadow, obsessed with only one idea - to return his soulmate to the world of freedom.
But relatives and friends do not believe in the innocence of his wife, and Julien has to fight this “war” alone, cope with his sorrow and grief by his own efforts. The mental pain of a husband and wife is acutely felt and transmitted to the viewer, pulling the necessary strings inside the viewer. The film will show how strong and pure love can be, how able a person is to despair of suffering, that he is ready to dare even the most terrible actions that go against laws and moral principles.
The moral is this: you can not pick up any items on the street, whether it is a penny purse, a revolver or an antique aquarium - you never know what this may entail.
As a result, a touching and suffering thriller, where a husband saves his wife, with a small claim to the final part of the film.
