Music played, the artist walked through sorrow and celebration. Oh, what the world owes to art. I don't have to do anything. A. Dementieve Many of the moviegoers of course remember the rustling film “Short circuit”. Yes, it was the late 80s and early 90s, when the film was shown in cinemas of the country. The film was directed by John Badham. But it was a story about robots, a lyrical-dramatic story. There was also the movie "Bird on the Wire" with Mel Gibson and Goldie Hawn, which was also written by Badam. And so it was very interesting to see the work of this master in the genre of thriller, without impurities. The painting “Incognito” is a real work of art, which is undeservedly forgotten. A juicy, colorful film with a beautiful production, a good Jason Patrick and the charming Irene Jacob. I remember the Frenchwoman from the film “Prediction”, so watching the picture “Incognito” promised great hopes. Neither the actors nor the director cheated, but on the contrary, justified all my expectations with more than enough. All cinematic nuances, like the finest touches of the great masters of painting, were observed in the right proportions and sustained like the old French Bordeaux. The film has everything: the plot, not far-fetched, the efforts of the actors, capable dialogue and some charm with a French touch, despite the Hollywood raid.
He lived quietly, peacefully, almost quietly, a man named Harry Donovan. He made copies of great artists. He worked with brilliance in his eyes and approached his work creatively. But somehow got tired of his lack of money, and then there was a good opportunity to make good money. Do what? Nothing at all. It's nothing. A copy of Rembrandt. Yes, so as to pass for a pure original. His father told him, "You're not an artist, you're not even Harry Donovan." But the temptation is strong and Harry succumbed to it. And he gave in, rolled up his sleeves and took badger hands and began to create. Isn't that a good one? And then it will be even better.
After watching this movie, I wanted to get acquainted with the Dutch artist. And not only in self-educational terms, but to somehow get in touch with the spirit of the time when Rembrandt took the brush in his hands. The moral side of this picture is also not bypassed. On the initial we have a talented copyist, who risks and start to draw. Hero with his weaknesses and shortcomings, not James Bond, although in a number of scenes showed himself in all brilliance. And in the dry remnant, the rethinking of life and rebirth under the auspices of love. And it's not just attractive, it's great. A couple of scenes in the movie are absolutely delightful. Of course, such a movie is worth watching and may not be a one-time one. Ten points exactly!
