What can be said about the inconspicuous and, as often happens, lost among the more successful comedy kung fu fighters, the film with the brutal title “Dance of Death” directed by Chen Chihwa, better known for his works with Jackie Chan. But the fact that this picture was not without Jackie Chan. He staged fight scenes here, having trained in this field a year earlier in John Wu's Young Dragons. Now, having moved from Hong Kong to Taiwan, Jackie and Chihwa worked in a humorous manner.
It showcases kung fu styles that imitate different animals, but the heroes are forced to develop their own style to cope with the insidious master. This style is called "Dancing Fist" (which corresponds to a more accurate translation of the Chinese name of the film). As usual, Angela Mao looks good on the screen, however, depicting a guy, and Shi Shadow (aka Ding Shak) is fooled a lot.
In some sources, the year of the creation of the picture is considered 1979. There is also another English-language title for this film “Eternal Conflict”.
