Roman everyday life Very adequate for the ironic mood, urban atmosphere and portrait sketches adaptation of “Roman Tales” by Alberto Moravia. In the center of the story - the adventures of four young Romans - Othello, Mario, Spartacus and recently released from prison started Alvaro. Alvaro has a lot of ideas about how to get rich quickly and easily. Friends believe him and time after time get into trouble on the mountain themselves and their sisters-brides-wives.
The film is divided into four episodes – four adventures. The best of them is with Toto and Vittorio De Sica. Toto plays a beggar graphomaniac, very similar in his way of thinking and behavior to Panikovsky from the Golden Calf. De Sica is luxurious in the form of a snob lawyer. Great actors played a couple of brilliant verbal improvisation.
But most importantly, the film is filled with field shootings of Rome, including from a height, as well as household details of the mid-1950s. Such paintings are not considered masterpieces, but they are light and pleasant, charge the audience with their positive energy. An additional bonus is the desire to re-read the wonderful “Roman Tales” by Moravia.
