Entertainment comedy The film is a bright and colorful comedy of positions, and therefore it contains all the components of this genre: chases, numerous dressings, curious situations, comedians, jokes, absurdities and misunderstandings. Filmed cheerfully and dynamically, numerous dances are fervent and are more playful than choreographic, that is, fit into the canvas of events, revealing in a humorous form another fort of heroes. Humor is simple, some moments laughed, some did not like. There are a lot of famous comedians, literally every character that appears in the frame is played by someone I have seen in other films. Therefore, I will mention only the main actors, for the sake of meeting with whom I began to watch.
Vinod Khanna - already quite heavy, but this role does not interfere. There were several successful finds in the form of gestures and facial expressions. Here Rishi Kapoor fits a little worse, because his hero has a love line here, and he is no longer young and ringing. But for such a comedy it is not critical. Juhi Chavla - for the first time her character completely liked: pretty, moderately funny, to the extent of acting. Shakti Kapoor - it was the only thing that did not like absolutely. And it is not in the skill of the actor, just he played a beggar with a false eye, vulgar hip movements and involuntary twitches of the body. Honestly, this character was the reason why I didn’t save the film, because it’s impossible to cut it, it goes through the whole storyline. It was unbearable to look at him, and I covered him with my hand on the screen in disgust. Perhaps someone will find him funny, as the director intended, but I don't. Mohnish Behl - he was very little, I like him, his natural involvement: even in this jokey fun, where the others clearly fooled, he was the only one who somehow starred in a serious film (I mean, full of his character even in tiny moments of being on the screen). Gulshan Grover - here he was not a villain, a bandit or a bad guy, he was not in love with the camera, he was not enough here for me, and he was a bad guy in love with his whole movie. Funny, sweet, and in the end, he also acted beautifully (of course, you should not take this seriously and draw conclusions about the persistence of feelings, here everything is for laughing). Dina Pathak - I love her mother (although she is rather a grandmother here), kind eyes, naturalness, inner dignity. Anupam Kher - the girl's father and a policeman, his role is solved in a comical way with different grins and stupid expression. I won’t say that I was delighted, but the actor and to try different roles. There are many others, as I said, that you can’t tell about all of them. There are references for connoisseurs of Indian cinema: both jokes on the topic of famous films, and whole scenes parodying already classic moments (for example, from the film Amar, Akbar, Anthony).
In general, it is fun, not tense, without any serious thoughts or feelings. Having fun in the evening is possible. As usual, David Dhavan has very bright and rich colors, an abundance of dance numbers. Actors behave at ease, it seems that they are fun to be on the set. Lots of familiar faces, albeit predictable plot twists.
