Fools are always lucky. Not only do Americans shoot the sleazy youth comedies on the verge of "b" and complete madness of what is happening - you see no less insane "b" German comedy with a twisted plot; colorful main characters, not shining with intelligence , but rather completely devoid of it; sparkling humor in the performance of these two eccents, who from the easy hand of important masters got a dangerous, but very charming job - they have to deliver to someone in an incredibly beautiful body, and they hope that they will not only play with a beautiful object with a full of security, if they are able to play with a whole day. Mix this team will not start immediately, but for the sake of such crazy adventures, it is worth waiting for the few flat annoying jokes to end, and a real fuss begins. Of course, from the German film of 2000, you can not expect visual chic, which we can see in similar American comedies (however, the sequel called “Bodies against the forces of darkness” pleased with a fairly decent action, because the second part also refers to the genre of fantasy and horror, and contains chic action, and humor there is even higher in the quality of jokes) – here the action was without an abundance of computer graphics, the film is lawless, but without large-scale destruction – visually the first part is poor, but humor / all.
The film begins with not quite clear criminal actions that lead to the fact that the daughter of the oligarch is in danger, and the father decides to hire the best bodyguards for her, only for something he orders to pick up the most notorious idiots. Meanwhile, two buddies Erkan and Stefan lead a loose lifestyle, dreaming of the perfect girl. The choice falls on them, and the guys realize that they were lucky to see such a beauty. Meanwhile, the girl has already been sent by thugs who are tasked with taking away an important tape from her, but the girl can stand up for herself and use her wits to fight them off, but she does not refuse the services of stupid bodyguards. The funniest scene turned out to be in the museum with statues, the scene with the paralyzed mother of the client Erkan and Stefan also made a laugh.
If you compare the first "Bodyguards" with their sequel, or with the much more famous "Night of the Living Idiots" and "Ants in Pants", then this film loses to them in all respects, first of all, in terms of the amount of killer humor, but the Germans have at least two much more disgusting comedies, one of which was the third part of the trilogy, the first part of which I just described - "Pirates of the North Seas" turned out neither mind, nor heart, nor humor, nor genius idea. The first part is a bloodless and positive parody of the genre of a criminal action movie, the second is a parody of the genre of fantasy and horror; what happens in the triquel does not defy a reasonable description. Most German comedies elicit sympathy and kind laughter, and while the first Bodyguards aren’t perfect in themselves, I’m happy to watch them — as my uncle says, it’s great to see morons and feel smarter. On my own, I add that if you look at morons who joke funny (moreover, believing that they say serious things), you can get a great relaxation and prolong your life with laughter (I hope, about the latter, scientists do not deceive). It’s a fun, relaxed comedy to cheer you up.
