The smell of love Fate is probably the most dubious thing in the world. So many people, so many opinions. Some believe that life is ruled by Her Highness Chance, while others, whether we like it or not, cannot escape fate. If you are destined to be together, then despite the years and other factors, you will be together. A film on a similar theme was shot a lot, but this film directed by Lee Jung Wook stands out among them immediately. I cannot say that in all my life I have never seen a picture more touching, romantic, beautiful and lyrical. No way. However, it is simply impossible not to call this film Lee Jung Wook such. Having survived the film in light colors, giving the film a thick layer of positivity, light and kindness, Lee Jung Wook made a madly romantic film.
A film that can be considered a living monument of love. Exactly as it really is in life. Not only a series of romantic and insanely happy moments, but also suffering, sadness and longing. Lee Jung Wook made a real "film emotion". Where is concentrated the abundance of various emotions, which Lee Jung Wook alternates throughout the tape not only moderately, but perhaps ideally in almost everything. Thus, creating in the first half the image of a real romantic tape about the birth of love, and in the second half presenting the fruit of this love and trying to hurt the viewer for the living.
Very many moments take the soul, cause a smile on the face, break a meager tear and simply cause an approving nod in response to what they saw. Since Lee Jung Wook made the film, which can hardly be called an ordinary feature film and even an element of art. Rather, in his work he embodied life. Perhaps subjectively and more optimistically, but you look at it all and willingly believe it. You do not believe in logical thinking and brains, but rather with your soul and with your whole heart.
I never believed and still do not believe in fate. I believe that everyone builds his own life, but at the same time, acting according to the script. Where the role is not so much the process of your decision, but the decision itself, what to follow at the moment. So if you're meant to be with a certain person and you're made for each other, there's nothing to stop it. No time, no distance of thousands of miles or anything else. Just like the heroes of this film. They were created for each other and their fate was written together, but it took them many years of suffering and the pain of loss to find the strength not to oppose the universal plan.
The creators of the tape absolutely not trivial showed on the screen real love. Without pink snot, which now actively feeds teenagers Hollywood dream factory. Everything is insanely beautiful, subtle and lyrical. Actually, as well as the basic morality of the tape, which is based on a very subtle dilemma. A dilemma that only a woman and a future mother can fully understand. A mother willing to sacrifice herself for the birth of her child. Not all men understand this, including me. Thus, the film to some extent creates a loophole for men to look into the soul of a woman. A woman who will soon become a mother and give birth to a living being. But even that is not so important.
One might wonder why God brings people together to tragically divorce them. There can be many reasons and it is not so important. What matters is what these people give each other during this period and how much they change each other. What we see against the background of the two main characters, who for the first time in their lives felt not only true happiness, but also found peace in the soul and peace for themselves. The film is very lyrical and subtle. The creators do not try to chew all the food for the mind for the viewer and more give free rein to fantasy. The film does not say what is true and what is not. It only reflects that part of life which, if not completely repeated in real life, is somewhat accurate. Perhaps not as a lesson, but rather as a message.
Pak Hae Il is just great. Madly young than I’ve been used to seeing him in recent years, he’s given one of the best roles of his career. He played an ordinary guy, a romantic personality and just a good person who is not ashamed to declare his feelings and make a loved one happy with all his might. His performance turned out to be a truly ideal image of both a man and a husband, who, if he does not have a model appearance, an elastic ass and cubes instead of a press, but has a real soul, which very often girls do not see because of false values.
Incredibly good and Zhang Jin Yong, who certainly played her role above all praise. I've always thought that images like her in this tape are always very complex. After all, it is not enough to convey the state of the disease, and the mental state of the heroine. Tut Jang Jin Yong coped with this role above all praise. Watching her, you willingly care for her every cell of your body. The sad thing is that while still young enough, she left this world because of the same disease that killed her on-screen heroine. Bad rock? Accident? Fate? No answer. Only bitterness about the loss of an insanely talented actress and I think a good person.
The music in the picture is just something. The composers of the film Won Tae Hyun and Moon Tae Hyun created insanely lyrical, beautiful and romantic, but at the same time sad and full of pain music. The music perfectly reflected the emotional intensity of each scene on the screen and in general created a sense of the vital activity of the tape as a separate living organism.
10 out of 10
The aroma of love is a real movie for the soul and for those who have not yet forgotten feelings, compassion, love and joy in such a cruel time. This film is an emotion that amazes with the incredibly beautiful and romantic love, coupled with its sad and sad outcome.
