beshkempir This picture was nominated from Kyrgyzstan for the Academy Award for 1998 in the nomination for best foreign film. This alone makes you pay attention to this tape. And I must say that the expectations from what I saw were fully justified. The implementation and the main thing that I wanted to say and convey to his viewer, the director managed to him by one hundred percent.
Before the viewer appears high-mountain Kyrgyz village of the sixties. In it lives the main character of the film, an ordinary boy named Beshkempir. He has his own inner world, he has friends with whom he plays and fools from morning to evening. And most importantly, he has his beloved grandmother, whom he loves with all his heart. In one of the harmless children's games, Beshkempir learns that changes him once and for all, it turns out that he is not the son of his parents. This news and at the same time the harsh truth of life changes him once and for all, director Aktan Arym Kubat very touching and carefully shows us the inner experiences of the little hero of the film. This truth becomes a watershed for him, dividing his life into before and after. Gradually, Beshkempir comes to the realization and difficult understanding of the terrible truth for him. The director incredibly accurately and subtly managed to show all the changes inside the boy, now his life will not be the same, she will become an adult, childhood will disappear and go irrevocably, despite the fact that the hero of years to maturity is still oh how lacking. He will become responsible and mature before his eyes, especially after the tragic events within his foster family.
The picture is made realistically, you watch and completely believe everything that happens on the screen. Interesting and indicative in this regard, the scene when all the village watching Indian cinema in the open air. The spirit of that time and that era, irrevocably gone from us, is magnificently conveyed. The local life is transferred, so it is better not to show. You look and worry for a simple boy from a distant village.
The picture teaches not to give in to any life difficulties, despite all the blows of fate, even the most difficult adversities a person is able to overcome. You are a boy or an accomplished adult man does not matter, the main thing is to be able to accept the truth as it is and be able to live on.
The picture collected a number of prizes and nominations of various festivals by right, a deep and soul-taking original picture.
