“Desire is tantamount to action.” – Mahatma Gandhi Probably the main dream of every person, which he carries throughout his life, is the dream of happiness. Everyone wants to be happy. But can happiness be enough? After all, happiness is an invaluable gift of Destiny. Some people think that this gift will never happen in their lives. The film teaches you to fight for your happiness, because the actions of people determine whether a person will be happy with the person he chose, or only disappointment and unhappiness for the rest of his life.

The Way to Happiness is a story about love, about the inseparable bond of hearts, about land and peasant labor. India is a poor country, but it is rich in good people. People who are able to love truly, help others with all their heart, be true to their word and their love until their last breath. And to be friends sincerely and forever. And Indian cinema can teach the whole world.
Beautiful Mumtaz here is very good: young, daring. She is very suitable for the roles of lively village girls (better than glamorous heroines). Rajesh Khanna is irresistible, as always. He's young, handsome. His shrill look and mysterious smile turn his soul. And how incomparable here is Sanjiv Kumar. His role is very small, 10 minutes, no more, but so memorable that just words can not describe. He's a special actor. He has no role similar to the other. All his characters, people are decent, sincere and incredibly pure in soul. I always admire the game of Sanjiva-ji. He's unique.
The film is quite old, but somehow passed by me before and today I saw it for the first time. But I'll never forget. This story struck me in the heart. No matter how bad the earth is, good will prevail over it. Because the main thing that consists of goodness is love, mercy, compassion and kindness. That's the strongest thing in the world. And so it will always be. The film is very soulful, piercing, pure as rock crystal and simply impregnated with Good. And all this is flavored with just magical, very gentle and lyrical music and songs penetrating into the very depths of the soul and heart. Excellent.
