“As long as we are together, we are strong, and we can overthrow every evil on Earth.” Another film with Mithun, for which there is no description here. But the film is quite famous. Especially fans of Mithun Chakraborty, for many years he was with subtitles, as well as "Favorite Sister", but now for 10 years since he had voiceover, one-voice truth, female voice, but very high-quality. So dear lovers of films Mithun and Mithun himself, watch it. He's insanely good here, it's impossible to come off. It is not for nothing that three such stunning beauties were winding around him. Juhi, Mandakini and Minakshi, all of them are worthy partners of him in a pair, each of them has repeatedly starred with him. And this "signature" look slightly from under the forehead, and the gait of the dancer (as my friend, also a fan of Mithuna, like me, recently put it) just drives the dancer crazy.
Briefly about the plot. The plot of the film is a family - a father, a mother and two sons. The head of the family defended the poor for which he was killed. It's been years. The eldest son - Shankar works hard so that the younger brother can get a diploma. Not far from them lives a rich man who wants to become a deputy, but he does not succeed, the residents are against him. He hires a bandit and his brother to intimidate them. Shankar stands up for the residents. The brother of the bandit dies and he promises revenge. But even the proud heart of a simple poor man demands revenge and retribution. But you cannot kill a dragon without becoming a dragon. That's the way of fire. You can’t turn it off...
Of course, the hero of Mithun suffered in the plot, so much went through, and of course all the words are spoken by Mithun with undisappearing sadness in his eyes. And the hurting feeling of fragility, impermanence of happiness does not leave his character. God, how I love him in such moments, just dissolve in his words and completely tone in his eyes. I just don't have the strength. And how magnificent is the character of Mandakini when suddenly at one moment she felt like she was leaving, she was moving away from her. And the clip, which is supposed to symbolize the beginning of love, suddenly fills with a premonition of its end ... Mithun So beautiful in a red shirt and jeans, So piercingly beautiful ... So close. And at the same time so far... and Minakshi next to him (in red sari, and in blue, and in yellow, and in pink), and Mandakini (in white dress, and in black, and in peach ...), and Juhi (in Gypsy dress...). And it's so amazing just no words.
And as always when watching any film with Mithun, I completely forgot that the main role was played by the actor Mithun Chakraborty, since I watched the story of the hero Shankar. The film is worthy, because there is an attempt to make a movie with psychologically justified moves. And with his ability to create a very realistic character, Mithun pulls the film to even greater heights. And this enchanting, magical music of Bappi Lahiri is something cosmic, indescribable. You just need to hear this music to understand and feel it.
The image created by Mithun is very deep and strong, perhaps because of its tragedy and disorder. But this image is not at all one-dimensional. The hero knows how to have fun and knows how to fight. He's charming and kind. And a happy, enlightened smile through tears after so many days of suffering. In general, the whole image of Mithun in this film is very organic. Great, thoughtful to the smallest detail. And legs are drumsticks. And hips. And super expressive hands. Sharpened movements. No extra gesture. And inhuman, electric-current energy in the clips (despite the seriousness of the film). It seems that a person simply cannot dance like this, should not. The incredible pace, the crazy amount of movement, is beyond any physical ability. Surely it took Mithun so much trouble to dance so perfectly. But genius is genius: we do not see this work, these many hours of rehearsals, these efforts. It's easy. Everything is as natural as breathing. And at the same time, no help with special effects, no directing tricks - he is alone on the screen! Brilliant. Unique.
For Mithun, both as an actor and as a dancer, it was another step up to perfection.
