There was a donkey on the floors... “And on the old woman there is a rupture” – this is me to the fact that the talented artist is not all work is equally good. After such “sounding” tapes as “Riding in the tram Ilf and Petrov” (1972, “Hello, I’m your aunt!” (TV, 1975), “Adam marries Eve” (TV, 1980), “Vacation at your own expense” (TV, 1981) the picture “Not waited, not guessed” looks, to put it mildly, strange. It is clear that the film is shot in the genre of absurdistic sitcom, but still ... Screenwriter Roman Furmanov had no experience of sparkling comedy before, and melodrama is not a reason to take on the comedy of the absurd. So it turned out such a strange and not funny film, because really funny and funny moments in the film a little.
And the film begins with a scene that, even with all the efforts of the director to create a "hilarious" atmosphere, you can not call ridiculous - what is funny about another quarrel between a husband and wife? To be fair, some of the scenes were shot very well, I would even say masterfully. Mainly because of them, the color of the review left gray. There are few scenes, but they are fun. Firstly, this is the main character of the apartment commotion - a donkey. I don't know the name of a cloven-hoofed man, but he grinded his teeth perfectly. Secondly, the episode with the disinfectant Vladimir Basov. Talent is talent, so even in such a mediocre film, Basov managed to shine.
Third, the finale of the picture, which, mainly, set on a more “positive wave” than the entire previous action. Of course, such an original way of “ringing the plot” is the merit of both the director and the screenwriter. Lev Durov played his Roman Ivanovich Dolgorukov well, but this character is not at all interesting to me, as is Yevgeny Glushenko in the role of Anna. Both played on a level, but the "absurd comedy of propositions" it made neither funnier nor more interesting. The abundance of star actors in episodic roles, most likely, is only a tribute to the past brilliant works of Viktor Titov.
