Mistral. Damage. Franco Nero in this film plays the most ordinary person. A middle-class man. A good father and husband. Children have grown up, life is organized, life calmly crosses its equator. He doesn't seem to have a challenge. There is only remorse of conscience.
Just one such acquaintance with the main character does not bode well for him. Obviously, our character is not ready for serious life challenges. This is it. . .
According to the logic of human relations, he must take care of a young orphan, a sweet girl with whom they were brought together by a ridiculous accident. And the problems of this young soul are so manifest. Her loneliness and isolation, her fears and her constant experience of personal tragedy should attract someone to help her overcome it. Will it be our main character?
This film is a special low-budget replica of Louis Malle's Damage. For Franco Nero there is enough space for him to show his acting potential.
In general, this picture is distinguished by her passion. Neither a small budget, nor quite modest performances from actresses, nor a crumpled plot - everything pales before the tearful author's storytelling. The tape slowly introduces us to their characters, and then quickly captures. And this despite the predictability and obviously negative image of the star - Franco Nero.
