Traces of love Life is an amazing thing. Sometimes without realizing it, we are faced with an abundance of real gifts for life. Whether it is a meeting with a loved one, or material gifts to please your whim. The only sad thing is that life does not always go smoothly and strictly according to your plan. Because very often she responds with a very strong blow. Whether you can handle it or not is a personal matter. Here is the film directed by Kim Tae Su not a story of tragic love as such, but a story about one of such a perverse cases in life. I really liked the movie. Frankly, I think it's one of the best melodramas I've ever seen. Despite all the tragic events taking place on the screen, the director of the film Kim Tae Su does not miss the opportunity to bring into the picture a lot of warm, pleasant, easy and perhaps even romantic mood on the example of stunningly selected natural locations and no less beautiful individual scenes.
All of them really suggest that you need to appreciate not only the close people who are close to you, but also the beauty that surrounds us everywhere and which we sometimes simply do not notice. I am also glad that even with very tragic coincidences in the film, the film is devoid of any depressive notes. Of course, some sad notes are felt in the film, but even at the same time the film retains a cheerful state of life joy and represents a very positive prognosis for life. It is as if to say loudly that we should never let go of our hands and that we should always gather all our strength to overcome even the most terrible incidents in our lives. I don’t know why, but atmospherically and meaningfully, this picture reminds me very much of the hit melodrama PS: I Love You with Gerard Butler. That’s only if the film with Butler was a purely glossy Hollywood product (albeit very decent), then this film is really easy and naturally appeals to everyone.
The creators of the picture tell a truly beautiful love story. Even watching the screen pair of the main characters, becomes unwittingly envious of their easy family happiness, which was about them before and which seemed to be waiting for them around the turn. Thus, significantly elevating the viewer with the effect of romanticism to the sky in the first half of the tape, the creators of the picture very quickly lower the viewer to the ground with a deafening roar and speed. Thus, quite unceremoniously and perhaps even too straightforward approach to the basic morality of the picture. Life is such a thing that things don’t always go according to plan and the way we want them to. Life is sometimes very merciless, and if you can’t withstand its blows, you will simply disappear.
We must always gather strength and will in a fist. Always resist adversity even when you do not feel the strength and soil under your feet. Why do people fall? To get up later. So, even despite the very tragic outcome of the love story of the protagonist, the creators of the picture demonstrate a very cheerful and perhaps even positive course of therapy, on which the plot of the whole picture rests. The film looks easy and interesting. Since the personal tragedy of the protagonist, if not repeated literally with each of us, but still very impressive for incomprehensible reasons and causes a sincere sense of empathy. That’s why watching the entire on-screen trip of the protagonist is incredibly interesting. Since throughout the film, he is not just trying to forget his beloved and cope with his problems, but also to find himself a real one who is completely lost behind the burden of grief and bitterness of loss.
The lead actor Yu Ji Tae played just great. Perhaps the whole world liked him exclusively in the image of Mr. Evegrin from the insanely popular art-house hit “Oldboy”, but I personally liked it more here. Since unlike the character from the unconditional hit of Park Chang Wook, Yu Ji Tae played here quite an ordinary character, but literally saturated and overflowing with human drama. So deep and strong that you genuinely feel both sympathy for his character and empathy. Especially since Yu Ji Tae played his character surprisingly naturally and you willingly perceive him as a real person, not an actor at his work.
Kim Ji Soo and Om Ji Won are equally good. Both actresses embodied very pleasant images of ordinary women. At the same time, they played really well and beat their heroines due to their exceptionally cute appearance. So sweet and solidly attractive that you imbue them with sympathy even more than originally.

Traces of Love is not just another story of tragic love, but also a very vital and worthy movie about how to find the strength to live again even after the most terrible events in life. The movie is very instructive, emotional and insanely soulful.
