Cybernetic dreams Young robotics genius Kotaro Takamiya is about to make a major announcement. However, in the midst of a closed conference, he is kidnapped by emissaries of the sinister Machine Empire, a state built on high technology.
To save Kotaro is taken by his younger brother Teppei Takamiya. Armed with the mysterious Fist of the Messiah, he travels to the Machine Empire. But the path of the young man is blocked by the formidable servants of the Empire - endowed with intelligence and life robots of the last generation, the Bitas. Teppei is ready for anything, but only another Bit can defeat Bit.
I think fans of Japanese animation will remember Saint Seiya. Well, “Beat Ex” is another heroic epic from the author of Saint. Extremely little-known series, which is strange, given both the big name of the scriptwriter and the overall high quality of the anime.
Overall, it’s a very interesting thing. Teppei will have to go through a series of dizzying fights, discover inner strength and find the most unexpected allies.
All this to good music, and painted well. Perhaps, the main character here is hard-headed, but this does not spoil a positive impression.
It is worth watching if you are positive about heroic narratives with not very deep characters, but with an abundance of good action and curious backstory.
If you are very annoyed by the inflexibility of the main character or, for example, deafening cries of the name of a deadly technique before it is involved - perhaps "Beat Ex" is not your thing.
For those who watch and appreciate the time spent, there is a direct sequel to “B’t X Neo” for 14 episodes.
