British strike! Another fantastic film, buyers of which are led to a beautiful annotation and cover, and get a rather low-grade product. Poor shoppers are lured even with beautiful footage from the film on the back of the cover! Photos of planets, parallel worlds and a girl who stands guard over all dimensions, of course, attract connoisseurs of fiction.
So, before us the film Hugh Bowen "Triple Stroke" (OK, "Measurement Patrol" - as always Lizard tried, but why is the English name here some "Schrodinger's Girl", when the credits for the film clearly indicate - "Triple Hit"?). The film really tells us about a girl who broke into parallel worlds. Not exactly with the consequences she expected.
The first thing that catches your eye is the film. And it's not the Russian distributor - you can see the film and shot. It feels like you're watching a screen. The illuminator at this time probably drank a modest budget of the picture, which is estimated at 50,000 pounds.
The plot of the picture is clear. She faces challenges in parallel worlds. The role of “problems” is played by the same actress. The fact is that she meets her doppelgangers who behave differently in another world. They then take her prisoner, they want to experiment on her, then they just run after her. In the same trouble gets her friend, who meets his doubles. In general, if you analyze the plot of this creation, it will take a lot of time.
The director apparently just wanted to make a movie. For me. On imdb it was stated that the budget of 50,000 is only a rough estimate. Personally, I think there is no question of 50,000. They took everything on the salary of the main actress and director. Filming takes place in apartments, abandoned open areas. The only chase in the movie is funny, too. There are very few places for running heroes, so you can see where this place begins and where it ends. They will run to the wall - with the help of simple computer graphics run through the wall - and again the whole yard anew. That's the whole chase.
The ending of the film is also quite amusing, as it turns out that there is a real patrol of measurements. This is not a spoiler, because the fate of the main character I never revealed. And when they show their “headquarters” at the very end, it feels like you’re in a cartoon. They may have added some humor to their creation. All the ridiculous seriousness of the film is not hurt.
Overall, the movie is pretty boring. A good, but worn-out idea and a funny chase are all he can boast of. The endless chatter of the characters does not adorn the script. And sometimes they talk about things so clever that they just blow the roof off. Apparently, the director made a movie about his interests - mathematics, physics ... in short, I do not know what.
I do not recommend watching this movie for those who want to see a fantastic action movie. Who to recommend, I don’t know. If you really want to watch a cheap British movie with poor lighting, please.
Thank you for listening.
