What happens if you cross "And the dawns here are quiet" and "Rambo". Okay, I haven't written in over a month. No more can not be postponed, there are a lot of films for which no one bothered to leave their reviews. How strange, because "Valor"/Courage has many assessments, that is, people watched it. And the ratings are quite high (well, for Indian films). But why isn't there a review? I also had it on the list of hangings, that is, once a long time ago I “hacked” 20 minutes on TV and never watched the whole thing. Now I'm sharing my impressions.
Of course, this is pure plagiarism, and in my opinion, the Indians did not hesitate to talk about it at the time of the release of the film on the screens. They don't care, they don't know our movies and they don't want to know. Few people see and know Russian cinema except for the Russians themselves. And Indians respect Hollywood more. So if any of their directors had tweaked our Zorya and adapted it to their reality, I think the audience thought it was him who made it up. It all looked similar and different at the same time. First, timekeeping. They stretched the whole thing for two and a half hours. And most of it is about the life and training of cadets in the camp. As such, the tragedy takes only the second part of the film, so in the first you can even laugh.
Jayam's good. Just as much as I don’t like him, he’s as good as an actor. I came into the picture perfectly. Not Rimbaud, of course, but he wants to. The girls laughed at him all the way, and he fought for them to the last. Well, I lost two. In the Indian version, the losses were not 100%, although this is good. Girls took strangers, and probably this is good, the glamour in them was zero, ran and plague, and sweaty, and with imperfect figures, in short, live girls, not dolls. Duruvan was filmed on camera as he ran with his ass naked among his tribe and giggled. In my opinion, two had not very natural lenses, the rest were girls, like girls.
I will not talk about the plot, it is familiar to every Russian viewer. The Germans here were replaced by Americans, so terrible that Mommy doesn't grieve. What is the tendency to make foreigners look like idiots? You know, enemies, but so stupid? Thank you for not taking the Russians there. That would be a shame. There was almost no entertainment, everything was very realistic, and if it wasn’t for Jayam, it was boring. Again, those sacrifices for the idea. Girls are sorry. They were wasted, I believe. There was no point in their death. He and Jayam took the film to a pretty high level. It must have been interesting for Indians to watch. But still, because of Jayama, I put quite a high rating. Now he has definitely moved from the category of my “unloved” actors to the category of “interesting”.
