An epic confrontation with a forgotten motive This little-known plot from the "Merry Carousel" appeared thanks to the creators of "Well, wait!". In 1995, in the 27th issue of the almanac, two friends tripled a grand confrontation that begins with the Wild West and ends with an allusion to a video game with catch-up. An unexpected turn of events!
Smelling at each other with weapons, defending themselves from shells and controlling spacecraft, the guys are so carried away that they even forget who offended whom first and together with what it all began. In such a funny manner, the cartoon reminds us that it is not worth falling into aggression over trifles. Moreover, the sunny and rich color scheme seems to remind once again: in fact, everything is fine.
In contrast to "Ice fishing" from the same issue, "Who is first" looks exactly like the typical cartoons of Perestroika and the 1990s. Cartoonism is combined with a high frame rate, and you are unlikely to see such starry eyes of characters in Soviet cartoons. Allusions to video games - even more so. “Who is First?” has both artistic and historical value. Which, however, is still not outdated.
