It was one of only two paintings on display at a festival of Japanese culture in our provincial town. Such a festival, a phenomenon in itself for our region can be said unprecedented. And if on the first tape, unfortunately, failed to get acquainted with Mameshiba The film was shown with subtitles, because I suspect that if not for the festival, the film would not have reached us at all (and given the number of ratings on IMDb seems to the audience in all other countries).
The story of a 35-year-old man who, thanks to his parents (and dog), finally gets out of his shell and overcomes his fear of the world is very peculiar, but in general, the film looks easy and with great interest. It would seem that the truths about overcoming oneself, fighting one’s fears, etc. are conveyed in an original and modern Japanese way. In addition, sincerity and humor save the situation and in general, this tape leaves only positive emotions.
