On the anniversary of the great painting Very good and accurate film, less emotional than the subsequent ones. Charming Negoda tells about the hidden moments of filming, the director is brief and concise, Yu. Nazarov and L. Zaitseva are satisfied with the result. And each actor said what is needed, just what was lacking in the further works of documentary filmmakers, because the film is more than 30 years old.
Berman and Zhandarev seem to have prepared the script perfectly. Thanks to the film, in 50 minutes, the viewer is immersed in the atmosphere, sees the actors and himself in their place exactly where the film was shot - this industrial Zhdanov with abandoned carousels and industrial zones 'Azovstal'. Through this background and the cries of Lyudmila Zaitseva 'You stabbed him ' and the eternal rhetorical crying of Negoda 'How to live on '? passed the life of many of us. And many even in the capital still live this way. So it is amazing that the West also saw themselves in this movie.
The director said that nothing has changed since then, except the money and the ability to get them. Everything else is dust, and sex, wine and drugs could not appear there, as Negoda says, in a very petty life. Because the country and the people were different.
To the place were the songs of Vladimir Matetsky, who showed through 40-year-old Rotaru that his generation, too, must change and keep up with the mores of the young. 'It was but passed' and 'Only that is not enough' more in tune with our mentality today. This is one of my favorite documentaries.
