In 2005, when the TV series "Soldiers" had high ratings, its creators did not venture to put the project to a definitive end, starting to shoot a sequel in the winter. To do this, we even had to return some heroes who left the army saga to the series. However, this time 16 episodes seemed to producers not enough for the air. Therefore, it was decided to shoot a huge “winter block” in the winter and spring of 2006 and divide it into several seasons, releasing them on screens one by one. So, first, in March 2006 released season 6, and then 7. New, eighth season was not only the last in this filming period, but also logically completed all the storylines of the series.
Continuing to tell the viewer about the service in a certain motorized rifle military unit, the creators smoothly brought to an important stage of military service - the upcoming demobilization. So this season there will be a lot of attention to the dembels and their problems. For example, I remember a series in which old-timers won a solid cash prize in the lottery, but did not know how to use it. Or a series about the futile attempts of the most stupid and naive "corporal Papazoglo" ("Maxim Maltsev") to stay in the army for the sake of his girlfriend. And yet I was sorry to say goodbye to those who for the second time (after Sokolov, Gunko and Vakutagin) passed all stages of army service (from conscript to dembel) (although Nesterov's call was slightly weaker than the previous one).
Another, no less important, storyline of the series, starting with season 6, was the confrontation between Victoria Kolobkova (Natalia Gudkova) and Mikhail Medvedev (Alexander Lymarev) on the basis of competition in business. And the eighth season, in this sense, was full of intrigue and unexpected endings. But, according to the laws of the genre, good will defeat evil (and even the cunning Lieutenant Colonel Kolobkov (Roman Madianov) will not go unpunished). But the Medvedev family couple will get a serious test of their feelings.
By the end of season 8, the series was already running dry. So his finale would be a fitting conclusion to the series. But, unfortunately, the creators wanted to continue the story (which led to certain problems and difficulties). But this is another story...
