A fireworks film or my second attempt to meet Ravi Teja. Teluga Jim Carrey... Well, well. That's what this friend is called in the southern film industry. Chesslovo, I don't know why. For the constant curves on the set? For super funny jokes? Although in this film, yes, he joked, fooled, and I even smiled a couple of times, I repent. But all the way there was a feeling that I was watching some bad parody, I don't know what. Yes, Mirapakai is a much more successful product than the subsequent film with Ravi Teja and Kajal, Veera, with which, in fact, my acquaintance with this person began. There I actually watched the first part in perplexity, “What the hell is this?” In the second part, it seems that everyone woke up and began to move, blood flowed, but my obligation helped me to endure this negligence. It was a terrible movie. Everything is better here, and at home it was even a super hit, but I only looked at the songs and the main heroine, the one who Richa Gangopadiya, despite some puffiness, is cute. Diksha Seth is nothing at all. Ravi Teja himself was like an overgrown teenager who only talks about the fact that he is a womanizer, and he is a virgin. Even though the boy passed for forty. What do you think, comrades? And in general, the main character Rishi behaves like a teenager. I understand, all men to old age groom, but his behavior was, to put it mildly, inadequate in many scenes.
Now, in fact, the movie itself (or the kin, or the kin). Policeman Rishi (Ravi Teja) was sent to Hyderabad on a mission to lure a tough don (Prakash Raj) living abroad to India. To do this, you need to infiltrate the college under the guise of a Hindi teacher and fall in love with the daughter of this don. Rishi then enters college, but immediately makes two big mistakes - falls in love with the wrong girl, and with the right one, quarrels. Then thirty minutes of the film is spent to fix the situation, although how can you fix it - as a result, two girls run for Rishi, whom he is fit to be a father - it is obvious that there is a twenty-year age difference. With Nagarjuna, this situation would have worked for me. He has a completely different breed and a different energy, young girls next to him look normal. Although I have to give Ravi credit - he is the soul of this film, and hands, and legs, and head. Without him, the movie would have died. All his crooks, jokes, goofy jokes and others pulled Mirapakai out of the swamp where he would have rolled, if there was a less energetic hero. That is, it turns out, the lack of charisma Ravi Teja compensates for the ebullient activity in front of the camera. Like that.
Prakash Raj has a small, standard role, but he played it, as always, very professionally. Diksa Seth, as I wrote above, is wooden and unemotional. Maybe she had a bad time. So... what about the disadvantages: the ending turned out very lubricated. Too easily Rishi caught a tough don, and even in a foreign country. What kind of don then is cool if he failed to provide himself with elementary security?
In general, the film is extremely entertaining, it turned out so disappointing. You can look at the mood.
