For trying. “Blood of the Redd Family” is the directorial debut of Brad Palmer and, as is often the case, the first pancake was a lump. The film is frankly weak from the first to the last second.
To begin with, it does not have even a minimal attempt at innovation. After all, history has many examples where films with a minimal budget had a stunning success, for example, the same “Paranormal phenomenon”. No, Palmer decided not to bother with the original plot, and therefore squeezed a huge amount of clichés into the framework of the 1.5-hour picture, and the terrible implementation, both from the actors and from the side of special effects and editing, only adds a spoonful of tar to this already far from rainbow project.
A few more words about actors. They're weak and it's logical to see that nobody in the caste has any experience in serious pictures. Everything is limited only to small budgets, which few have heard of. The actress who plays the main role is cute, but her virtues as an actor end there. Emotions are zero. As if you are in a situation that threatens your life, but at the same time, you get the feeling that Stephanie Hullar (starring) does not even strain, because he understands that in films like this, the principle of “And so it goes!” applies. Actor Tori Widener was particularly outraged. I haven’t seen a game like this in a long time.
The directors could not correctly implement even the plot that they had on their hands. Unfortunately... After all, with a more or less competent approach, the film had chances at least to have the status of passing, but no. Before this status, Brad Palmer and the entire author’s shop still had to plow and plow.
I don’t put a minimum score just because this work is the first for the director and he has more time to work on mistakes.
