Love, freedom, rock and roll. Chile. The town of San Andres. The early 60s of the twentieth century. Rock and roll. Incendiary dancing. Lush skirts. A fascination with music and freedom. A divorced woman is now an equal member of society. Hug dancing. Separate swimsuits. Nuns on a moped. But the older generation does not accept all these liberties. Boys and girls are still in separate schools, and teachers are all monks. It is with the arrival of a new “modern” nun-teacher Angelica that this story begins.
Or rather, many different stories, among which the two main ones are Monica and Anibal, Angelica and Jaime. A good series, colorful, funny, with quality acting, with many funny characters and storylines, harmful and funny villains, accompanied by simply stunning music. Can not refrain from compliments - what a beauty Pati Rivadeneira, and what a cute young Mauricio Pesutich. The most interesting couple I consider Alfonso and Virginia. It's one of the pluses.
Of the minuses. I would like more content and logic for some stories. Like Daniel and Gloria. I didn't get that line. Jaime and Angelica deserve more screen time. Sometimes it is not clear who the main characters are and who are secondary. The adventures of Felicita with her admirers are given so much time that it is she who can be considered the main character. Slightly spoils the impression of the series finale of the story of Jaime and Angelica, especially when you consider that the last series clearly led the viewer to a different ending, so the decision of the writers becomes a surprise.
But the assessment is high, because the series, shot in the last century, looks surprisingly fresh, exciting and ordered.
