Singer's pride shamed by false love, betrayal and bitterness of loss I never got acquainted with the cinema of Uzbekistan (and, frankly, there is no desire), but here I happened to see such a banal telemelodrama with a terrifying performance and cardboard production. The debut of Dmitry Korobkin already speaks about his directing skills, or rather, about their modest absence. The plot tells about a singer who is so beautiful (by local standards), so honest, so beloved and so... proud. Of course, all the most typical stamps are present. Because if you want to make a one-day movie for a small audience, forget about work and art. What do young girls who are fans of the pop stars of their country need? They need a holy example of a strong woman who has achieved everything herself, drowns in glory and male adoration, but she has yet to survive all the hardships prepared by the villainous fate. It's so exciting, so much, oh, girl, hold on! We're with you.
Do you think such a plot is only an author’s initiative, an original idea? No, never. The creators of “Sorry...” focused their creation on a certain audience, shot a very predictable story, fortunately, deprived of a happy ending, because there is no need for any sweet endings. What does the audience want from a TV ode to a fictional singer? She wants to see how she handles all the troubles. Rich and unloved, showering unnecessary gifts. Poor and beloved, who once had to disbelieve - and cruelly pay for his selfishness. A loyal and loyal friend whose motives are not so simple. Strange plots of a maniac from the Internet. Bad performance on stage. How will the heroine get out of everything she has prepared? Oh, she will walk with her head held up proudly through fire, water, copper pipes and tons of cosmetics on an extremely puppet face.
Returning to the production, I will say that such an acting game is not seen anywhere. Comrades, Paris Hilton deserves an Oscar in comparison with these actors. I do not know how they managed to say their lines so falsely, to portray such oak-wood characters, to arrange cartoon hysterics. All of this is really annoying. I want to replace the whole team with more professional actors, who, however, are unlikely to agree to be on such a replacement. It remains to giggle nervously, looking at the tortured emotions.
I don’t want to talk about the movie anymore. “Sorry” is a stamping for an ordinary TV channel located on the remote number “148: satellite TV”. This is another epic for grandmothers and aunts who can empathize with the heroes of such stories. The claim to “vitality” will only heat them up, arouse interest. Another thing is that a person who has seen a movie with many ranks above this clearly does not want to deal with the stupid implementation of a very slick plot filled with serial intrigues and creepy scenes, when the intensity of the “game” jumps over its limit.
