In general, I would put a huge minus if the series did not make you cry at the time of memories of Anatolyevich. The colorful character, who complemented the picture, like a piece of a puzzle, did not just fall out - he was thrown out of the plot. Ew, gentlemen, a huge minus, pain and tears - is that what the show was about? The fact that Olga under old age crazy, got himself a barking brush for shoes, and married someone who always hated?
It is a shame that a very top-rated project has slipped into cheap soap. You can't name him otherwise. Shame on Inter Studios. The fifth season is a shame.

It's been 8 years. How things have changed since then. Gone one of the main characters (Yuri Anatolyevich), Valukha is now all in business, and Olga Nikolaevna still suffers after the loss of her husband.
But for me, this is one of my favorite seasons of Matchmakers. And it's because of those changes. I really liked the couple Olga Nikolaevna and Sanych.
Music.
You can talk about music in this series forever. She always plays theme and always has great melodies. Great respect for the creators.
Actors
This is another asset of the series, because it gathered the best actors. And as for me, no one is offended, but I prefer the series without Anatoly Vasiliev (Yuri Anatolyevich). It always made the atmosphere worse. And Olga Nikolaevna acted as a kind of “city bitch” who always keeps her husband under her heel.
With his passing, everything changed.
Olga Nikolaevna became more affectionate, and with San Sanych (Alexander Feklistov) she felt really female. Fecklists is very familiar with this role. The character has changed a lot.
Lyudmila Artemyeva with her Olga Nikolaevna as always at the top. I love this actress very much. This is really her movie and her role (although in life the actress is radically different from her character).
Fyodor Dobrovnavov and Tatyana Kravchenko still perfectly perform their roles. As if they are the same as Vanya and Valya in life:
The young actors were also well selected. Anna Koshmal, Marina Serdeshnyuk, Anna Polishchuk, Kostya Blackflyuk very well got used to their roles.
And my review can only be positive. This film cannot have any other reviews. Bravo to the actors, the director, the writers and the entire team who worked on the film.

I love this series, as do many people in our country. There have been many changes in Part 5. Zhenya grew up, small ones also grew up, Yura’s grandfather died. Well, after watching the first series, I simply did not recognize my favorite series, the atmosphere was kind of sad, gloomy associated with the gothic Zhenya. But after watching the 5 episodes, he again became what he was before, matchmakers came to the dacha to Olga Nikolaevna. Here Berkovic appeared, and I loved him since 4 matchmakers. And again, matchmakers became my favorite series as before, everything went back to normal. Then Mityai and Larissa come along and all the pun and fun begins. As soon as we were hinted at the development of relations between Berkovich and Olga Nikolaevna about the absence of Vasilyev I immediately forgot, I like Sanych very high-calorie character and cheerful at the same time, after 5 matchmakers like Olga Nikolaevna with Yura I no longer see when I review the old seasons I think something wrong. Alexander Feklistov is good, so fit into the already perfectly worked team and at the same time perfectly replace Vasilyev. Zhenya from the beginning wildly annoyed wanted to kill her simply, but then nothing became normal to her. I really like small twins and small actors.
Matchmakers is a very cheerful, cheerful, colorful, kind, bright, soulful and everyone’s favorite series the best on our television. It is impossible not to mention everyone’s favorites: Fedor Dobronravov, Tatiana Kravchenko, Lyudmila Artemyev, Aeksandra Feklistova they are as always at the top, another thanks to the director Andrei Yakovlev he is a great pro. All the good guys did their best, and the series came out with small changes, but as beautiful as ever.

For the whole Swatta franchise, since the first part appeared (which did not think to be a series, unlike the 3rd and, God forgive me, the 4th), I have been restrained. Too many people for 3 ~ and mainly for 4 ~ buzzed their ears - what, de, a wonderful series - Russian cinema is alive and so on. Since it was impossible not to stumble upon it at one point, I had to watch.
Yes, this franchise is really an event in domestic cinema. There are several reasons for this, we will try to understand them:
1) The topic is domestic and very close. That the conflicts of relatives, that the conflicts of the city / village - all this is alive, relevant, fertile ground for jokes, etc. This is clear.
2) Good casting. In the first parts, both the granddaughter and the children were more for furniture - the series is about matchmakers, and not about some granddaughters there, well, with our level of children's play in Russia - for the better. The older generation plays as much as they can. Thanks to this series, Kravchenko and Dobronravov (especially Dobronravov) became very popular. And deservedly.
(3) The biggest reason. The highlight of the series. What made him famous and loved by the people. It doesn't have a story. I mean, at all. Nothing. There is an initial message - gathered 4-ro adults of pre-retirement age, and I start to dog. The first 2nd season (film) - they did just that. We fought. No story. It would be possible to watch first the second series, then the first - in a swarm in the communal kitchen, all the same there is a recursion of all old grievances, it is impossible to miss something.
And this, the lack of plot, which turned the series into an absolute gum, and gives people the very base pleasure that can bring contemplation of someone else's scandal has made this series so popular. Let’s be honest – not for the sake of the plot, the series is watched, and not for the sake of acting – for the sake of scandals. The talk show Window continues in the entourage of Swatov.
Matchmakers 5, in this regard - a breakthrough. And that is why he was so disliked by the main audience of the series, vampires before the scandals - in it there were, indeed, tectonic shifts.
1) There was a plot. In the previous parts of the plot was not, now the goal is clear - to establish a relationship with her granddaughter. Since it requires a certain amount of brain work, the series can not immediately appeal to all previous audiences. The granddaughter is heavy, it won't sell for candy - you need to look for an approach. We wanted to see the continuation of the family quarrel, and we got, therefore, the problems of the psychology of a teenager. Who would like it?
2) Gone is the most unrealistic character in the series – Yuri Anatolyevich. His character has always raised a lot of questions. Types in matchmakers, usually, vital - and Ivan Beko, and Valya, and even the wife of Yuri Anatolyevich - they are vital, they can be found. Yuri Anatolyevich is a virtual creature, the fruit of mass ideas about the professor in Russia. Many will be surprised to learn that a professor in Russia (in order to get this title you need to survive in such battles, knock out chairs under so many people, suck up to so many people) is a type closer to Ivan Beko. This is an administrative ladder, and not everyone can climb it. Yes, such as Yuri Anatolyevich also happen (not in such a concentrated form) - but they do not serve as professors. I don't have guts. Well, besides, now it is impossible to laugh: "Look, gee-ga, professor - but a moron. And heel heels ... gy-gy..."

(3) There are situations that are difficult for the viewer to answer. If in the first parts, the audience watched the movements of a handful of idiots and several alcoholics - in the 5th season, the questions arise serious, and concern everyone. What should I do if my granddaughter doesn’t want to make contact? What if the youngest children are soulless bastards who only think about money? Non-trivial questions. Who wants to answer them?
(4) The stratification of social statuses. Nothing hurts more than a neighbor’s luck. Valentina’s business is nothing but an attempt to troll the viewer. Who would love to see things get better, even in their favorite characters? Spitting into the soul of national tradition. Everyone sits in collective farms and drinks, and this otter, you want to get out. In her land, you bitch. Another downside.
Total: the series Swaty, and its 5th season is a breakthrough for post-Soviet cinema. In strict accordance with what Grandpa Darwin bequeathed to us, he evolved from the unicellular to the multicellular. And even though it's not that far off plankton, given its evolution, it's a step in the right direction -- closer to the monkey, away from the amoeba.

Fans of enjoying other people's quarrels this series will like much less. Fans of plots are more complicated, after the first 4 seasons, the franchise will simply not look. What did the creators hope for? Did they try to raise the audience watching them?
Yeah. The Matchmakers aren't the same anymore... It's not sad to realize that. The creators hastened with the maturation of Zhenya, with the departure of grandfather Yura. It would be better if they did not hurry, but tried to persuade Anatoly Alexandrovich Vasiliev. So no, they were chasing the money. And they don’t care about their audience!
It was necessary to continue to shoot “Matchmakers” in the previous format, with a little groom. Even without Anatolych, because it was possible to send him on a business trip abroad on philosophical matters. Why kill right away? The series “Matchmakers” lived until the fifth season. Starting with the fifth season, it is already a different series with old heroes.
When I first showed on TV, I mastered 4 episodes, today I wanted to watch two episodes on DVD.
Bottom line: The new series with old heroes failed!
And all these brethren lost one viewer! Let it be a drop in the ocean, but still... I don’t want to watch this movie anymore.

Matchmakers is my favorite series that I have watched and watched countless times. This series is so good that it is even difficult to say anything about it, and reading reviews for it is too boring, but how can you keep silent about one of the best film products of Russian cinema in recent years.
Matchmakers are an amazing film, not only that the creators have been able to keep freshness and good humor for many years, the creators of this series also manage to correctly arrange human values, the most important thing in life is a family, and people are warm from communicating with whom.
I decided to write a review for this season of the series, namely the fifth, because it is closer to me, and likes more than the previous ones, although, of course, past seasons are no worse, I like this season primarily with the correct alignment of values, which I have already said above, it is this season that is seen in almost every series, a large family in which everyone cares about each other and never leaves anyone, what else can you dream about? Add to this a great, life humor that never goes below the belt or toilet jokes, in many moments just see yourself on the screen and it’s really funny.
Musical accompaniment, as always, deserves special attention, magnificent, expressive, memorable themes that amaze with their high quality. The melodies convey the mood of the scene so clearly that it's really striking. In most, of course, the music is cheerful, but at the same time, diverse and each conveys the mood to the maximum, here there was an embarrassment, here someone made porridge, and now it will be hot, a scandal. But there are heartfelt sad themes, and about the composition "Where the maple makes noise. ", in the incredibly penetrating and beautiful performance of Fyodor Dobronravov, I generally remain silent, which, incidentally, is not the first time pleased us with his voice in this series. Speaking of actors.
Fyodor Dobronravov, of course, it is stupid to say that without this actor, the series would have lost a lot, despite the fact that this is true. Stupid because without any actor from this series, the project would have gone down, but this actor really with his color and his talent pulls the film up, thank you very much.
Tatyana Kravchenko another person who adds positivity to everything that happens on the screen, her character is the prototype of any rural woman, just a woman with pepper, she is very pleased with her presence, her great gratitude.
Lyudmila Artemyeva A beautiful actress! Her character is full of intelligent charm, it is very pleasant to look at her, as for me, an unusual, interesting and funny image created by a good actress.
Anna Koshmal for the first time starred in a movie, and the girl clearly has great potential she looks good in the frame, holds well, and quite, well plays and does not pale against the background of her talented colleagues, but to laugh brightly and organically.
Anna Polishchuk and Konstantin Blackflyuk look great in the role of modern children who know how to benefit from nothing, while not losing their childhood charm and spontaneity, well done.
Olesya Zheleznyak embodies on the screen one of the most vivid images of the series, her character is explosive and emotional. At first I did not like her, but then I just fell in love with this actress and this image, bravo.
In the end, in my opinion, this is one of the best comedy series, in which the correct alignment of values, great humor, beautiful music, I advise you to get together with the whole big, friendly family and enjoy a great series in the heroes of which you can easily recognize yourself, p sympathetic viewing.

It took 8 years, Zhenka and the twins grew up, and the family of Budko-Kovalev lost a very important member - Yuri Anatolyevich. For me personally, this loss literally killed the whole idea of the series - in the difference between the four matchmakers and how they still find a common language with each other, and with children and grandchildren.
In previous seasons, everything played in this contrast:
Ivan Beko is a simple village worker, a lover of both drinking and joking, and extending a helping hand even when he is embarrassed to ask for it.
Yuri Anatolyevich is a modest intellectual professor, in some ways perhaps too soft-hearted, but still very sensitive and sincere person. This character was especially close to me, as in many ways resembled my own father - both in character and even externally.
And in this situation, it seems to me, it was not worthwhile to shoot a sequel at all, than ' Kill' such a colorful character. Why did you kill #39 and #39? It was possible to beat so that Anatolyevich went abroad to lecture, and Olga Nikolaevna called him regularly and asked him how he was doing, would convey greetings from him to everyone, etc.
The role of Valentina Petrovna in general boiled down to constantly yelling at her husband. She had scolded him before, but it was kind, with humor and soul. And Olga Nikolaevna from bright, always very stylishly dressed, modern lady, just a super-grandmother, which would dream of any granddaughter, turned into a gray sad old lady.
As for Zhenka and the twins, their line of behavior with their grandparents is somewhat clear to me, I also went through a transitional age, but it was somehow even unpleasant to look at it. Although I cannot but note that the young actress Anya Koshmal coped with her debut role more than decently, and this is quite understandable, because there were such masters as Fedor Dobronravov, Tatiana Kravchenko and others near her.
In general, everything became not so funny, not so emotional, and quite predictable. And that makes it even more offensive.
I heard that now shoot the sixth season 'Svatov'. But for me, they ended on the fourth. Sometimes you need to be able to put a stop, but the creators of the series did not understand this or did not want to understand.
